I'm currently doing occultist instead of pathfinder as it's more frontloaded damage and helps vs bosses who love to regen life (-100% life regen to nearby enemies helps so much). If anyone is having mana issues and can path to it, grab eldritch battery. If you aren't using a unique belt you can also craft the 'regen 150 energy shield per second while a rare or unique is nearby' which allows you to spam. I haven't done a PF in like 8 years so I don't know how they'd path, I'd assume you want to go up for the extra curse, extra curse aoe, and extra curse cast speed so there's that. If nothing changes next league I'll come back and do your PF version. Hate having to manually hit flasks.

Think of your main cast skill as being temporarily overridden for like a tenth of a second when punishment is applied. The duration is miniscule, but you can think of it as like 95% uptime on your main curse.
I need help with ID procs. Last league I was playing the same build and when I've cast My curse, it proc on the first cast without the need of a recast (with normal 20/20 spell cascade in both vixens and 6 link. Now I don't have that. Whatcould be the problem? Cast speed 3.20, Doomblast Cooldown 1.119 AoE radius 40 (with skittering runes annoit). Temp chains main 6 link, punishment, despair, enfeeble in vixens. all same level. I don't understand what is the problem. every information online says I should be procing on 1 cast, or give advice I already follow. could it be baucase of link order? When I cast my curse I do not see the punishment that is supposed to be rewritten, but no Doom Blast

I am not the most experienced player so any kind of input would help. I understand that damage multiplier and chaos damage multiplier is really important, but is stacking damage a good idea for the build? Like #% increased damage implicit on an armor. Or like #% increased chaos damage while affected by herald of purity. Or #% Chaos damage on an amulet and/or Spell damage? Also, is Cloak of flame a viable alternative for the armor? I understand that we must reach 100% of physical damage mitigated to elemental damage combined. I got synth amulets with % spell damage and %chaos damage that I want to craft for the build and was wondering if it's a good choice. I plan on using a Circle of Nostalgia synth ring with increased chaos damage while affected by purity and craft he - mana prefix on the 2nd ring and on the amulet. Something about a pathfinder with a staff appeals to me.
To answer your questions: Stacking damage is always a good idea. In this case, if you are able to replicate the endgame PoB from either the original or immortal guide, you will be DoT capped. PoE has a DoT Cap of about 35.8million DPS, which restricts your damage over time from dealing additional damage. However, many mobs have forms of damage reduction. Uber bosses have a flat 70% DR (on most), Certain Mobs may have increased resistance to your damage type (also dr) and delirium also adds damage reduction to mobs (scaling with delirious %). It is because of this that stacking damage isn't necessarily bad, even if you go past the DoT cap. %damage on armour implicit is definitely good. %damage while affected by herald of purity would not work as we do not use herald of purity. %chaos damage works well, as does chaos DoT multi, DoT multi, Poison duration, Faster poison and so on. Spell damage does NOT work, as it only scales the hit portion of our damage and not the damage over time. Synthesis amulets can definitely work well, as can circle of nostalgia and so on. For league starts when handing out PoBs (as I have done so for friends prior to making videos), I tend to restrict using items with exact specifics, such as synthesised items, mostly due to a difficulty in market supply. Usually I reserve these things as a more "user end choice" as if you are good enough to be able to afford a synthesised item thats really good, usually you can also decide whether or not it would work. So yes, synthesised items are definitely good. Just make sure that all your mana costs are still 0. A lot of people look at the main 6 link but dont forget to crosscheck your vixen's curses after you change around the items to make sure that those still cost 0 mana. Overall, your ideas for pushing the build can definitely work. Stay safe exile

Yes it does. Wither stacks last for 2 seconds, unless stated otherwise. Thanks to temporal chains and temporal chains curse effect, they last for roughly 4 seconds. With doom blast hitting 8 times a second, across 4 seconds with the ascendancy, we hit for a total of 32 times. We have a 25% chance to inflict withered on hit and 32*0.25 is 8. With 8 wither stacks being applied by our ascendancy we use withering step to apply the remaining 7. Withering step applies 8 wither buffs on this setup, and while we cannot go above 15 wither stacks, the additional wither stack provides consistency in case we low roll a little from the ascendancy wither stacks. Hope this helps :)
Is the gluttony belt really necessary? One would think that with a max ES of like 200, any damage taken is enough to trigger the stun threshold as you're essentially at act 1 levels of stun threshold.

Hi void amazing video and build, I just have one question. I just bought a divergent void manipulation to drop the life flask for a quartz flask. The build felt very tanky before but now I just keep dying to huge bleeding or poison. We don't really have any mitigation from those, where you not running into similar difficulty before the progenesis swap ?
Make sure your pantheon is setup to be arakaali and ralakesh. I was dying a little and got stuck about halfway through level 97 until swapping to progen.
@@CrazyupRISING Ralakesh pantheon makes bleeds do almost no damage. You should be able to outregen pretty much any bleed with ralakesh pantheon and your level 21 vitality. For corrupted blood, make sure you have a jewel with CB immunity.
I have 107 cast speed and CDR. POB shows my vixen trigger rate only 4.14 and the reference POB shows 26.21.... am I bricked some how?? Edit: nevermind, I was looking at steelmage reference POB, which shows 26.21 - yours has 4.6. That's better :D

Something I don't quite get in PoB is CDR. I tried around a bit to hit 50%cdr to get to a new Vixen tick. But with an increase from 20 to 50% cdr, even when getting the corresponding cast speed, my dmg only went up like 5-10%. Is there something I have to do in addition to account for high cdr values?
Raise cast speed in accordance with CDR, unlike CoC, impending doom doesn't have "breakpoints" persay. More CDR + more cast speed = more damage. Just make sure you stay within the confines of the spreadsheet as listed in the spreadsheet for cast speed thresholds so that you don't have too much or too little.
Could you explain what the difference in awakened spell cascade makes in the build and if someone is upgrading to getting 2 for each link set up which link should be prioritized?
Put em in both; it’s basically QoL. Doesn’t technically give you any damage. Think of it as a cast speed steroid. Basically juices your cast rate so high that you always proc impending doom. You still want “some” cast speed, but you won’t need as much.
Do i need to do the cdr/cast speed calculation check or can i trust the "use vixen's entrapment cooldown" on path of building? It seems to give me different results than the spreadsheet when it comes to the breakpoint of lowering my dps with increased cast speed.

E.g. with 169% inc cast speed I should have at least 50% cdr according to the spreadsheet. pob however doesn't show a increased dps until 52% cdr. Do you happen to know which one is correct? 25%/50% are nice values to get with belt/jewel/boot+crucible, getting the extra 2% would require some other slot to be used.
because its 10% more? more is multiplicative with increases. I dont really know how to explain it, its math. Like, for example, 5% would be 1.05 or 20% would be 1.2. 100% more would be x2 (double damage). I don't know if that helps, hope it does.
Bloodnotch should always be matched to your progenesis damage reduction. If progenesis has 42% dr then bloodnotch needs 58+ and so on. Immutable I personally found 850+ to be the sweet spot. Ideally above 900.
Do you know if Eldritch Battery works with the Bloodnotch tech? I've seen some people saying so but I couldn't find a good source about it. Edit: Pls do make the crafting video
Eldritch Battery removes the stun avoidance that naturally comes with your energy shield, but since stun threshold is based on maximum energy shield you won't get stunned by every hit if you use eldritch battery, even with a low ES pool.
@@void2412 If that's the case then EB does not change anything (as PoB suggests) since the mastery already forces your stun threshold to be based on only 60% of the ES. I've tested a bit and it does feel that anything stuns me when I have EB though, but I still have to fully convert my phys to elemental so I guess it could be that I'm taking enough damage from Blood Aqueduct monsters that they still stun me.
@@gabe-i4w We tested with steelmage on stream with EB and it seemed that some hits would not stun him with EB up. Would appreciate if you could also do a second test and toss some clips. More information = better.
@@rafakal9823not ultra fucked. going down to 14 is worse, not life ending. Phys taken as ele becomes better the more you have, so that last 1/2/5/10% really makes a big difference in the feel. That being said, the build is made to literally never die, so I doubt you'll feel it in *most* scenarios.
I would say no tbh. You def CAN reach 50% cdr, but you also need the cast speed to back it up. you would need crazy corruptions, abyss jewel techs etc. to reach that under vaal haste. 25% cdr is just perfect, because it is provided by a single crucible passive. cast speed is also much easier to reach, because you can get the action speed implicit on boots instead of CDR.
Endgame, it’s definitely worth it if possible. If you’re running the original variant of the build or this new version but have agnostic on your staff, you have accesss to quite a bit of cdr. Think of it as a more damage multiplier, as long as you can supply enough cast speed. Now while you don’t want to go abyss stacking, getting as much cdr on your items as possible is VERY good.
Does the cast speed cap change when using Awakened Spell Cascade? Also, do you need to use double Awakened Spell Cascade to make it worth using? Thanks!
1 Awakened cascade in despair makes clearing feel a little better. 2 Awakened cascades increases overlaps from 2-3 in most cases, except on smaller targets. Overall its a more QoL thing than a damage increase.

Vixen's entrapment cooldown. If your dps goes down with more cast speed then you have too much cast speed.

Check poison chance on doom blast, not despair. You want 100% chance to poison.

I switch to Gluttony without Progenesis. My life is bad I die a lot against DOT. What is recommend item before use Gluttony ?

does too much cast speed literally brick the build or does it just mean you are wasting cast speed?
You will start casting faster than your vixens comes off cool-down, and you will lose damage.
why can you use Malevolence when 57 mana ?

Do you know if Eldritch Battery works with the Bloodnotch tech? I've seen some people saying so but I couldn't find a good source about it.

It does work but you still need the mastery stun thresh hold = to your ES
Eldritch Battery removes the stun avoidance that naturally comes with your energy shield, but since stun threshold is based on maximum energy shield you won't get stunned by every hit if you use eldritch battery, even with a low ES pool.
@@void2412 If that's the case then EB does not change anything (as PoB suggests) since the mastery already forces your stun threshold to be based on only 60% of the ES. I've tested a bit and it does feel that anything stuns me when I have EB though, but I still have to fully convert my phys to elemental so I guess it could be that I'm taking enough damage from Blood Aqueduct monsters that they still stun me.
@@gabe-i4w We tested with steelmage on stream with EB and it seemed that some hits would not stun him with EB up. Would appreciate if you could also do a second test and toss some clips. More information = better.
I have awanened spell cascade i think the calcs are diferent un overlaps, this afects the Cast speed?
It would be 3 overlaps then, don't worry about it too much once you have awakened cascade you wanna start pushing your CDR.

@@rafakal9823not ultra fucked. going down to 14 is worse, not life ending. Phys taken as ele becomes better the more you have, so that last 1/2/5/10% really makes a big difference in the feel. That being said, the build is made to literally never die, so I doubt you'll feel it in *most* scenarios.

is it worth do to 50+ cdr?
I would say no tbh. You def CAN reach 50% cdr, but you also need the cast speed to back it up. you would need crazy corruptions, abyss jewel techs etc. to reach that under vaal haste.
25% cdr is just perfect, because it is provided by a single crucible passive. cast speed is also much easier to reach, because you can get the action speed implicit on boots instead of CDR.
Endgame, it’s definitely worth it if possible. If you’re running the original variant of the build or this new version but have agnostic on your staff, you have accesss to quite a bit of cdr. Think of it as a more damage multiplier, as long as you can supply enough cast speed. Now while you don’t want to go abyss stacking, getting as much cdr on your items as possible is VERY good.

Does the cast speed cap change when using Awakened Spell Cascade? Also, do you need to use double Awakened Spell Cascade to make it worth using? Thanks!
1 Awakened cascade in despair makes clearing feel a little better. 2 Awakened cascades increases overlaps from 2-3 in most cases, except on smaller targets. Overall its a more QoL thing than a damage increase.

@@ChubbyDutchy I am unable to recall exactly what the breakpoints are but as long as you don't go over the spreadsheet cast speed cap, then you should be good :)
