One thing I think I forgot to mention! Gluttony isn't a very large damage loss because it also gives us culling strike. The phys damage is mitigated by our phys conversion so the item is pretty good. Because its so common, you can get a good double corruption as well. Make sure to check if your flasks have 100% uptime without the belt mod! I mentioned this in the description, but in case you missed it: Video with explanation on how to Config Impending Doom and use the spreadsheet coming soon! I want to make sure its a detailed explanation so that you guys can effectively calculate it without any issues.
stun threshold IS based on ES instead of life (energy shield mastery), but we need maximum energy shield at 0 to be stunned by everything, hence the gluttony.

You need progenesis, you want your recoup value to be higher than progenesis (25) * flask effect. Also make sure you have the correct pantheons (arakaali and Ralakesh) and use a corrupted blood immunity jewel (corrupted blood cannot be inflicted on you). If you find yourself dying to poison a lot, unspec Lethe shade
For self stun tech its 1 server tick, so if you get hit for your full hit pool you die. In theory, however, with progenesis damage reduction this will be nearly impossible. I will have to test (eventually, once I get progenesis) exactly what I can and cannot tank.

In extreme endgame, the stats are as following: perfect rare staff < perfect cane of kulemak < perfect rare staff with perfect crucible tree < perfect cane of kulemak. When I initially made the build I did not expect to get this much traction so I expected a perfect cane to be much cheaper. With its current prices, from what I’ve been told, you could probably craft a better staff.
Looking forward to the spreadsheet review. I'm getting so confused when I see "cast speed" with a value like 66 and not as cast rate with a value of something like 4.88. Since we can have both an inc cast speed and a more cast speed I always thought you wanted to know the cast rate.

An example could be ‘+1 to level of all chaos “skill” gems’, or ‘+1 to level of all skill gems’. Also ‘+1 to level of all spell skill gems’ etc. modifiers you would commonly see on Wanda or amulets (including ashes of the stars) would not work.
Can you recommend what I should prioritize on upgrade currently? Currently L82 1.09m dps, with Apeps+Lepers. Dunno if worth to swap Lepers for a 2nd Apep's (1.24m), craft a staff (seems iffy upgrades currently), or focus on the cluster jewels. Going to buy a L21 Impending Doom for now, everything else just going to let level up.
if you tried the occultist version, how big do you think the damage/tankiness between them, i really feel squishy as a occultist and want to try your build.
The last time I played the occultist version was prior to the Melding nerf. I would say this version is comparable to that to some extent, maybe slightly weaker. I've only seen the FR occy get weaker since then so unless there's some insane tech with crucible, this variant should be stronger overall in my opinion.
Cloak of flame would be incredibly strong. We already do not take damage from bleed (ralakesh pantheon) but this would make us pretty much immortal to it. You might even (with upgraded ralakesh pantheon) be able to drop your CB jewel if you out-regen it, opening up a jewel socket for a really good jewel instead. To make up the 10% phys conversion you have 2 main options that I believe don't take away too much. Option A: Watcher's eye mod. Get a 2 mod purity watcher's eye. This would probably be at the cost of another good mod though. Option B: Timeless jewel. This build has a great slot for a timeless jewel near Acrobatics, and I believe a lethal pride can provide phys taken as fire. This would be at the cost of a brutal restraint, however since the build also needs strength to meet attribute requirements I don't believe its a super bad tradeoff.
@@void2412 yeah 20-30 div this league isn’t too bad considering the 2 mod WE last league. So perhaps a lethal pride until then and move to brutal restraint down the line after other upgrades.
you convert all the physical damage taken to elemental with coil + double helmet physical convert with mods and a wattchers eye that conver physical into elemental also
This gives immortality to all hits, as long as you do not get one shot. If you drop lightning coil, you lose half your phys mitigation, so you will probably get one shot by phys damage.
hey mate quick question. why do you specc the spell suppresion node Revenge of the Hunted if you are gonna reserve life and therefore not gonna be full life at all. isnt there andthing better for those points?
The suppress on revenge of the hunted is irrelevant. You should never rely on the suppress from that node regardless. I simply take it as a life notable.
Adding Cluster jewels was the right call! Up to 2.4m dps at level 87 now, can do red maps smoothly now (it was a train wreck at 1.09m). Can I assume that "60% less effect of curses on monsters" is a bad mod for maps?
Very early on, hexproof and less effect of curses can REALLY screw you over. Once you get past the 5 or 6 million dps mark you should be able to run them just fine.

Still torn on if I should swap to this version, I already feel borderline unkillable with the basic Progenesis setup with like 90% phy to ele damage taken. Is it really that big of a difference? I think my effective HP pool is already around 100k in pob. Will you be offering that staff for mirror service when you get it? Would love to get my hands on it.
Definitely not necessary to switch to the immortal version. Staff in PoB is custom; I’m in the process of trying to craft a mirror for me (will probably take a couple of weeks as a solo player). I’m not sure if I’ll finish the staff or move onto something new yet, so that remains to be seen.

So I put this set up in my ranger I am leveling. level 24 got both gems and the stuning hits based of energy shield notable. Have 0 energy shield. I have tested it with out the stun recovery gem and I am getting stunned. But it is not recovering any life. What am I doing wrong?
The bloodnotch jewel recovers 60% life when hit. The remaining 40% is taken over time thanks to flask effect on progenesis. That 40% is then mitigated by recoup. The 60% recovery from bloodnotch occurs in 1 server tick, so if the damage does not oneshot you, you recover the health faster than you can see it damage you, which is why it probably appears as though you aren't recovering. If you take off the recover jewel you will notice that you take significantly more damage.
How are you eleviating mana cost issues without EB? I have triple -mana cost on my amulet and rings + %20 reduced mana cost during flask effect, but having issues with mana. Also without enlighten, how are you fitting in haste, even with enlighten, I have basically 99% of my mana capped.
either haste or grace, 1 should be off. Left both in for you to choose, if you check, grace is disabled in PoB. Mana cost reduction is flask, annoint and -mana cost on jewelery. For blessing its flask, inspiration and alt qual increased duration.
Maybe, you’d have to PoB it. But a synth staff with a bad crucible tree is definitely worse than a regular staff with a really good crucible tree, so keep that in mind. So unless you plan on crafting a very very good crucible tree, I wouldn’t really “recommend” synth. Although I’m guessing if you have a +1 synth base you kinda already know what you’re doing :P

With the setup I've provided, progenesis has 70% flask effect thanks to the weapon tree and other sources on the build. With 70% effect, progenesis mitigates 42% of all incoming damage, so you want a bloodnotch with 58% roll or more. As for immutable force, I am unsure as I cannot really know until I test it myself. I simply wanted to get the video out to catch you guys up with the tech. You will probably have to test immutable force yourself, unfortunately, especially since I don't really have access to the jewel in chatsf.
This seems insanely broken, the only problem left to solve is dots but maybe transcendence with the new amulet can help with that? Also how do you get that high of a max hit?
Transcendence would probably get us killed to DoT due to the -15% max res. Plus we have no armour, and armour doesn’t apply to hits either. New amulet is a possibility if we can find a good way to overleech. Max hit comes from the following: Ele Res + Flasks for Less elemental damage taken. Large hit pool Suppress cap 100% phys taken as ele Enfeeble giving us Less damage taken Progenesis giving us 40-45% less damage taken (based on flask effect)
Also, i sniped a leech 1.2% of damage while affected by vitality + purity of elements, does that work instead of the using the belt or is a dead mod? My es would be low anyways so i dont know if it would work without glutonny

Brutal restraint (wind dancer ->discontinued) so what should i take and how should i find that on trade?
Keystone is irrelevant, we just use it to juice notables in the radius.

How can i get 100% phys taken as elemental?
On my build I have 15% from helmet, 50% from lightning coil, 25% from taste of hate with 70% flask effect and 12% from watcher's eye.

Isn't Touch of Cruelty a bad cluster to have, since it works only with Spell hits? Or are you hindering enemies in another way?
Impending Doom is a chaos spell. It is not a chaos spell SKILL. Touch of cruelty just says chaos spells.

It was provided in the original build as well; anomalous increased duration + inspiration and reduced mana cost flask craft.

Yes. You can transfer mods like more cast speed and +1 to spell gems from a staff onto a warstaff.

You need 0 maximum ES for every hit to stun you. Alternative to gluttony is agnostic.
