We are Marisa and David, Australian expats now living part-time in Chianni Tuscany.
During the Global Pandemic, we decided to buy our Italian dream home, sight unseen and with no prior knowledge of the area.
This is our journey and we are taking you along with us!

In today's video we take you on an insiders view of my very own "hometown" for 10 years during the 1990s.
I ran a 5 star BNB from 1990 and in this video I show you around my beautiful village and the close surrounds.

I’m so glad you enjoyed it Rhondal. I love wisteria too and film it whoever I see one! I’m currently on crutches in Italy as my fall happened here at Lake Garda, where we are still resting. We should be leaving later today to travel towards home. 💖🥰🫶🏼

When I saw your video just some min. before, I am thinking of you back to Italy, Lago di Garda, laying there in bed with pain, or are you now back in Chianni? I hope you are ok now; but please, find a good doctor or therapist who can help you❣

We just arrived back home yesterday and it was so good to sleep in my own bed last night!
It will take time to heal but I can feel that the process has already started even though I know I have to be patient. I will take great care and keep on making more lovely vlogs in the mean time!

The only information I can find on the cross is it’s called the Chaumeil Cross from the 16th century. Sorry that’s no help at all.
