This was an unexpected amazing trip. One of my best friends from Toronto reached out last minute and invited us to join his trip to Paris.
We made some quick calls to make sure P was covered and booked a flight and boom, Paris here we come!
Stayed at the Ritz Paris, which we'd never stayed at before. Have to say, Pairs might forever be ruined for us after that.....not really, but tough to beat that accom and wow, what a room the Mansart Suite is.
We ate at Cafe de Flore which never fails and as always, our staple and fav lunch spot; Le Petite Marché. The most romantic little cafe we know and a forever stop on our Paris trips.
We saw a PSG (Paris St Germaine) game which was amazing and even got to watch it from Le Carré.
A beautiful time it was and honestly didn't even feel too fast. We hit it and hit it well. And off to a wedding upon return.
Life is fast so live everyday to the fullest!

One thing I love about the 2 of you is you have a lot of luxury experiences but you still appreciate the beauty in them, like your reactions to the suite! Most of the TH-camrs I watch who show little room tours they act like it’s just another typical day and they don’t take the time to admire it
I love that Hannah is taking care of herself and not getting all caught up in feeling guilty about leaving P. A happy well lived parent, is a happy child. As new parents, always remember that what your child needs is happy parents, not perfect parents!!!!!!
She does what is right for her. Others may choose a different path. I was told I would never conceive. When I did have a child later in life. I found little satisfaction in leaving him. I've never regretted my choice. He is a successful independent adult. I remember his childhood with fondness.
And whilst we're on the topic, why is it always the mother that's expected to always stay with the baby, why not the dad?

The key to being great parents my husband and I have found over the years, that we tell newlyweds and new parents is don’t stop dating each other and remember being a great couple will make everything in life seem easier, and happier.
