I can't get over how much i like Rylan. He's just perfect as a human. He's honest, genuine, humble, knows he's NOT perfect which kind of makes him perfect. Would love a piss up and a sit down with him.
I think the talentless celeb industry is designed to dumb down society, with types like Rylan who entered a TV singing competition as a stepping stone to get a job in the media screaming with joy about the attention seeking schemes of talentless trash.

Jamie is such an accomplished interviewer. He actually listens to his guests whilst still engaging with them. Rylan is just adorable, I love watching and listening to him. Watching him with Rob Rinder was an absolute pleasure, his instinctive understanding of the art he was looking at was amazing. Plus , he’s so handsome ! ❤
This is going to sound weird but I’m in a Facebook group because of the breed of dog I’ve got and people got chatting about “famous people they met” and one lady said she was Rylan’s next door neighbour (didn’t give any details re where she lived) she said he was the NICEST person she’d ever met, that he was genuinely lovely not that fake “I’m being nice cos I have to” nice. After seeing this interview I can well believe her!
I experienced the exact same thing as Rylan describes with the sudden stop and not being able to make a cup of tea. It’s called being semi-catatonic. Mine was the result of untreated severe depression that I had been attempting to ignore while overworking myself. I had to do a similar approach to building up my capacity for life again, at first I couldn’t speak or make myself a glass of water but over time I managed to make cups of tea again in the way Rylan describes. I’m very sorry to hear Rylan went through that and I’m glad to see he’s in a much better place now. Thanks for talking about your experiences, it makes myself and many others feel less alone.
That story about being unable to make a cup of tea till he literally did it in baby steps... i can relate. it's crazy but it's so real. that kind of poor mental health SUCKS.
What an incredible interview. I've always been a Rylan fan, but he shines the most here. And love that Jamie guides the conversation so effortlessly and doesn't interrupt him and lets him speak, which is key to being a successful interviewer. Rylan is such a gloriously honest, quick witted and intelligent man and deserves the moon on a stick ✨🌟💫
Jamie, you are an absolutely brilliant interviewer. I loved when Rylan said people open up more to you because you’re not out to get them. Very self depreciating, smart, articulate and kind, you seem genuinley delighted to have your guests on and you’re my absolute favourite interviewer and. I hope you keep going from strength to strength… that interview was a blast! Love your channnel ❤
Love Rylan, loved him since Xfactor, he absolutely cracks me up. I didn’t realise he had a breakdown. So much respect for him, coming out the other side. Such an intelligent, articulate kind human ❤
That was one of the most open and honest chats I have ever seen after the last 4 years of family bereavement losing my marriage and also my kids Rylan made me realise there is light at the end of the tunnel ❤

From my first introduction on X Factor to Rylan Clarke I knew whatever his talent was it was 100% natural and he had ‘it’ from head to toe. I’m know into my 70s and have never seen him do anything on any platform that looked scripted or looked like he was working. Wonderful, Grounded, Relatable, Talented and so likeable ❤
I met him after the final Girls Aloud gig at the O2 last month, he was trying to leave the venue and I thought if I don’t ask for a photo I’ll always regret it! He said you’ll have to be quick babes, so we had the photo taken then he was gone to the after party. Such a lovely lovely man, it made my night!
This was incredible. What a guy. How could anyone have a bad word to say about him. Also, very impressed by Jamie’s interviewing skills, my first time watching this podcast, won’t be my last! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Rylan has just answered my own question cos I had been thinking why I would willingly destroy my own life did the same thing and blew up my life when my ex partner left me after 10 years and stopped all communication. I gave uo everything and had a nervous breakdown but looking back now I was going down a very dangerous route. I was becoming a functioning alcoholic and had put on 5 stone in a year with numerous suicidal thoughts and hospital visits but after moving out that flat and moving back with my mum for a year now it has been the best thing for my mental health and physical health. He's right self-care is so important and anyone struggling please do not put anyone or any job above your health ever.
