It's 4.30pm, it's getting dark outside....I've decided to basically call it a day, get cosy and snuggle up and listen to Jeannie. Let's be honest, the rest of the afternoon will NOT be productive after I listen to this..... I'm feeling relaxed and calm and then she tells me she uses the same product I use for my eyebrows. Now I am not relaxed, im busy fangirling and getting excited because Jeannie uses the same eyebrow pen as me?!?!?! What is my life? 😅

Still gorgeous!! This rocketed me back to my childhood, watching my mom do her makeup and hair getting ready to go out. This was much better though because my mom always went out and while watching her get ready gave me asmr, there was also a sadness and anxiety. (I was never really important to her, if she could've gone out every night she would have). Plus she smoked like a chimney and drenched herself in vanilla perfumes, both smells i have a hatred for 😅. Anyways, this was 10x better, it's like a back rub when you're trying to go to sleep. Amazing. Love from me to you 💜

This was such a fun video, Jeannie. I always loved watching my mom get ready as I was growing up; this gave echoes of that. Growing up in a puerto rican family After I was born I was babysat by my mother's friend, Jeannie is the spitting image of her 🥰 I always remember her house smelled of Apple Pie scented candles, and she loved to collect antique nick-nacks, and decorations. I actually blow my hair dryer onto my regular eyelash curler, check it by bringing close to the cheek, make sure it isn't too hot but needs to be warm enough to curl the lashes. And then curl them. Works amazing. But when the lashes are warm, mascara will dry faster than usual so you might have to work faster.
This was like the longer, more natural and modern update to another ASMR experiences, Donna Mills' makeup tutorial VHS (I think), "The Eyes Have It". Clips of it circulated a lot on TH-cam several many years ago, and it was such primo ASMR: soft-speaking, make-up and brush sounds, and most importantly, the voice. You share a certain precise, deliberate, elegant diction that you don't hear much these days. I really enjoyed this, which captured the same grade A ASMR qualities while updating it and being free from some of the things that have inevitably dated/turned comical in the Donna Mills video.

I really love that Nyx eyebrow pen as well. I have thick but sparse brows because of some scars that bisect them, and it works great to fill that in but keep things looking natural. Love the GRWM! You have such naturally beautiful skin!

I definitely think heating up your lash curler with a lighter is much easier and quicker than that heated one. Preferably I like to apply mascara, heat up my curler a bit, then curl the lashes. Not once it’s dry though because then your lashes may get stuck to the curler which isn’t good. And thanks for showing that tinted moisturizer, I’m definitely going to need to try that.

I’ve got two fragrances that I love and maybe you’d like to put on your husband! Bleu de Chanel and Terre d’Hermes - both are a little expensive, but they last all day and have a quality smell to them.

I actually blow my hair dryer onto my regular eyelash curler, check it by bringing close to the cheek, make sure it isn't too hot but needs to be warm enough to curl the lashes. And then curl them. Works amazing. But when the lashes are warm, mascara will dry faster than usual so you might have to work faster.

This was like the longer, more natural and modern update to another ASMR experiences, Donna Mills' makeup tutorial VHS (I think), "The Eyes Have It". Clips of it circulated a lot on TH-cam several many years ago, and it was such primo ASMR: soft-speaking, make-up and brush sounds, and most importantly, the voice. You share a certain precise, deliberate, elegant diction that you don't hear much these days. I really enjoyed this, which captured the same grade A ASMR qualities while updating it and being free from some of the things that have inevitably dated/turned comical in the Donna Mills video.

I really love that Nyx eyebrow pen as well. I have thick but sparse brows because of some scars that bisect them, and it works great to fill that in but keep things looking natural.

I definitely think heating up your lash curler with a lighter is much easier and quicker than that heated one. Preferably I like to apply mascara, heat up my curler a bit, then curl the lashes. Not once it’s dry though because then your lashes may get stuck to the curler which isn’t good. And thanks for showing that tinted moisturizer, I’m definitely going to need to try that.
