Sensational collection of goals. Italy has produced many great players, but Roberto Baggio was the most talented Italian attacking player and goalscorer I can recall.
For me, the best out and out striker ever!!! His dancing around players while being so calm, and calculated, was just so enjoyable to watch, he reminded me of a Pinball Machine, him being the ball, and he would bounce off all the obstructions or dance around them, just purely magical.
Used to watch his games on football italia. By far my most favourite footballer of all time. His dribbling was awesome and loved the way he used to always dummy shot/dribble passed the keeper at the end of his run.
I was 10 when I was watching my very 1st of Roberto Baggio's goals and it was against Borussia D and it was something I'd never seen before - just a pure magic.

The guy played with one knee his entire career. Baggio encompasses love for football.
Italy did not play horrible world cup but was robbed from the victory against the Koreans by Byron Moreno - one of the biggest disgraces in the history of footbal.
His class will remain unmatched, one of the best in the history, should have scored the penalty in 1994 final he would be remembered amongst Maradona and Pelè

Brazil always deserved against us Italians. If we ever won we had overcome the best. Brazil still stands as the '' Mecca'' or the '' Opera'' of soccer. And is a blessing to have the chance to beat them. Parabens Amigos brasileiros.

Its crazy all the managers hated him and he was benched for Italy so many times. Achieving what he did despite that AND despite his multiple knee injuries is incredible. Magical player
He was only benched at the latter end of his career, don't forget he ran the show at international level like maradona did at his peak for moments in 94
@@jimmyfoot832 The fact he had under 60 caps (should have been 100+), many of which were off the bench, tells us that he was terribly underused at International level. Yes, he was magnificent when he did play, gelling the attack, providing the team with some imagination, and stepping up, always making the difference. What's ironic is that he was in much better physical shape in 1990 and 1998. In 94, he was already carry injuries heading into the competition, and then picked up another against Bulgaria. Factor in the harsh conditions and it was a miracle what he produced in the US. He wasn't first choice for Italy despite being phenomenal for Fiorentina. He was dropped for the semi-final against Argentina in 1990, something which destroyed the momentum of the team (Baggio, Schillaci and Giannini had formed a terrific trifecta in attack). In 1998 he played second fiddle to a very out-of-form Del Piero. Despite this he had a fine tournament, and had he started against France who knows what may have happened? He wasn't called up in 2002, when he'd made a record recovery from injury to put himself in contention and had been in great form for Brescia - Arsene Wenger even stated that Baggio was the best player in Serie A at the time, at the age of 35. And how can we forget that he wasn't called up for Euro 1996 and 2000.
Baggio will be always my favourite best player ever! I think the control touch against Juve was the best control touch I ever have seen!! What a player he was! What a class! Genius
Roberto Baggio was a goal scoring machine..one of the best players o do it..also the way he went around the keepers is similar to R9. Definately should have had more awards and recognition..children nowadays don’t know what they have missed out on..
Pure genius! Baggio scored goals out of this world. The guy could dribble, shoot free kicks, curle the ball, volley shots and so on. Skills that not many players can master. Players of Baggio's caliber do not grow on trees. It was a joy to watch this guy play soccer.
Roberto is great italian player, never forget photo with number 10 on his shirt, skillful craftsman. The main problem was not his injuries, the main problem was that he did not find "his" coach. So did Messi, who had "his" coach, Guardiola. Many goals were given to him due to his skill, sense of the ball and vision of the field. And of course such a desperate desire to play football, not many men are able to go out into the street just after a cruciate ligament rupture injury after 77 days, he has already played and scored in Serie A. This speaks of the character of a person. For this he is greatly respected. Thank you Roberto for the matches that I watched as a child)))
My favourite player of all time. Saw his World Cup 1990 goal and said I support the team he plays for. He just went to juventus. So have been supporting Juventus ever since.
absolute brilliance! the way he controlled the ball, speed & dribble, the ultra wide range of finishing shots... i dare to say even messi has no such richness in play
Robbie Baggio is one of the greatest players ever. The Italian national team were idiots for treating him badly at times. He is by far the greatest Italian player ever and one of my favourites to have played football. I rate him above Zidane. This guy could dribble and finish like a killer. ❤

His dribbling was awesome and loved the way he used to always dummy shot/dribble passed the keeper at the end of his run.
magic foot, elegant movement, intelligent player, charming, humble, nice character and HANDSOME.
I was 10 when I was watching my very 1st of Roberto Baggio's goals and it was against Borussia D and it was something I'd never seen before - just a pure magic.
I don't think any player in the world has deceived as many goalkeepers has Roberto Baggio. A genius!
R9 has 88 goals from rounding the goalies. Trust me, bro.
@@iganpparamarta8813 R9 was the best, but Baggio wasn't far off from R9. Both were exceptionally fantastic.
I firmly believe you can't teach skills like that. The flair and finess with which he went about on a pitch is pure poetry in motion!!! My favourite player of all time
THE DIVINE PONYTAIL 4 EVER!!!
They dont make players like him anymore🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
It's amazing how many of the goals involved Baggio rounding the keeper, just wow
What a legend. Thanks for the compilation.
Roberto Baggio ''10''- Forever ! Italian Genius...Greets From Poland ;-)
Every kid growing up wanted to be Roberto Baggio!!!
je voulai etre roby baggio
Roberto Baggio is the best Italian football player of all times. What skills and dribblings, volleys. Unbelievable.
He made magic look easy...that's pure talent. In Italy we are still waiting for someone as gifted as him to come along. It's been 30 years :)
The greatest to me!!!! this guy got me into football aged 12, watching him at AC Milan...
HE MADE ME FALL IN LOVE WITH ITALY!ONE OF THE BEST PLAYERS IN THE HISTORY OF THIS GAME!!TRUE LEGEND!!
Those who try to define Baggio by the penalty kick in the World Cup, don't know anything about football. BAGGIO = LEGEND
i am always telling them, if not him, they would have never got to that final at all! he did it almost alone, through the whole mundial.and BTW he was not the only one to miss that penalty in his team/
@@bruceleemagomaev9157 Yep! Baresi missed too, another exceptional player!
@@bruceleemagomaev9157 no doubts he was one of the best forwarders but he sucks at penalties n he almost missed in 1990 wc too against Argentina.
@@bhanoiji2096 his penalty ratio is amazing you don't know what you're talking about
@@bhanoiji2096 he was carrying an injury that whole final.
He was only playing because an injured Baggio is still better than most fit players.
A truly phenomenal player. A pleasure to watch. Out of all the Italian greats, Baggio has to top the list.
Majorly criticized and underrated. ROBERTO BAGGIO IS THE BEST ITALIAN PLAYER OF ALL TIME. Easily top 5 footballer who has ever played the game. ROBERTO BAGGIO=FOOTBALL=LEGEND.. ( Look at 7:04 min)
Criticized baggio let's see messi and RONALDO have 6 operations on a knee ....but that's what GOD DEALT HIM AND MAYBE GODS WAY IN SAYING DONT GIVE UP ......BAGGIO CARRIED TEAM ITALY 🇮🇹 1990 ...1994 WORLD CUPS PLUS EUROS HES JUST VERY VERY STRONG MINDED
7:25 magic kick
The greatest Italian Football Ever
Roberto Baggio The Legend live on
🙏
Questo video merita un Oscar.. complimenti!
This video deserves an Oscar.. compliments!
Baggio was a wonderful wonderful player..
what a genius! he made italian soccer great, he would always be in my all-time favs
It's obvious that Roberto Baggio could do whatever he wanted to do with the ball.
Pure Legend. Best italian 10 ever
That goal for Brescia may well be one of the best goals ever scored.
Assist from Pirlo!
People who didn't see Roby play don't realize how magnificent he was. What a quick thinker he was and his crazy level of decision making.
Plus his passion and dedication, especially to the national squad. Trapatoni not calling him up for the 2002 world cup was absolute BS. And Italy did absolutely horrible in that WC.
The guy played with one knee his entire career.
Baggio encompasses love for football.
Totally agree!!
What happened to his other knee??
Italy did not play horrible world cup but was robbed from the victory against the Koreans by Byron Moreno - one of the biggest disgraces in the history of footbal.
@@ravireddyism
The FIGC left him out of 1998, playing him for only a few minutes, 2000 Euro's and 2002. Total idiocy.
His class will remain unmatched, one of the best in the history, should have scored the penalty in 1994 final he would be remembered amongst Maradona and Pelè
I still have his life size poster from the early 90s. Fantastic player.
best player i remember for the last 30 years
Brazil always deserved against us Italians. If we ever won we had overcome the best. Brazil still stands as the '' Mecca'' or the '' Opera'' of soccer. And is a blessing to have the chance to beat them. Parabens Amigos brasileiros.
Left foot or right foot it didn't matter. It was always quality from Baggio. Sucks about that missed penalty in the final I remember I cried from Italy that day. Baggio was my hero as a child.
A genius scientist of the game. Unbelievable talent. One and Only.
What is this stupid comment “genius scientist”
He invented the game,??? Rubbish word utter by an unknown commentator, and now followed by million of clueless fan. Rubbish
@@greatatlas9494 Are you angry? Or did this comment fizzled your dizzle?
One of the top players all times.
Pure magic! With the ball in his possession, anything could happen. Thank you, Roberto!
Playing on a bumpy pitch like a mine field, boots heavy , tackling from behind were ok, toughest defense in the world every match...n playing with a broken knee , still had those soft touches n breezing through the best defenders in the world . What can u say.
Personally the best 3 to play the game Maradona, R9 and Baggio.
Baggio will be always my favourite best player ever! I think the control touch against Juve was the best control touch I ever have seen!! What a player he was! What a class! Genius
Best first touch of all time.....Even better than Zidane's.
Baggio had one of the best first touches you will ever see. His control and passing were amazing. Also a great goalscorer... surgical.
Roberto Baggio was a goal scoring machine..one of the best players o do it..also the way he went around the keepers is similar to R9. Definately should have had more awards and recognition..children nowadays don’t know what they have missed out on..
THE KING OF DRIBBLING............MAGNIFICENT,,,,,,,
Pure genius! Baggio scored goals out of this world. The guy could dribble, shoot free kicks, curle the ball, volley shots and so on. Skills that not many players can master. Players of Baggio's caliber do not grow on trees. It was a joy to watch this guy play soccer.
A criminally underrated player, an amazing player played beautiful football always ❤
And my is Zidane. But I respect Baggio as well and I remember very well the game in 94 against Brazil.
absolute brilliance! the way he controlled the ball, speed & dribble, the ultra wide range of finishing shots... i dare to say even messi has no such richness in play
Incredible talent. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
His touch on the ball...divine
Baggio with six injuries one of 10 best of histories..baggio with no injuries....no historie
bellissimo, what a talent, he was a different level
He is my favourite footballer, I am not gonna give him he GOAT title but he was my GOAT because of how he inspired me to play football.
the man was doing magic.and I fell in love with football at the age of 12 because of Italy like this and Roberto like this
Roberto Baggio in his prime would be the best player in the world TODAY.
He never was at his prime those knees deprived him of that
@@luislizard2626 Capello, Lippi and Sacchi helped to destroy Baggio's career more than all his knee injuries.

Robbie Baggio is one of the greatest players ever. The Italian national team were idiots for treating him badly at times. He is by far the greatest Italian player ever and one of my favourites to have played football. I rate him above Zidane. This guy could dribble and finish like a killer. ❤
