Your unique camera tool gives you the abilities to do a lot of things the other analysis channels can't. Top notch stuff right here. Not to mention all of the small details you are able to find in games. It makes me appreciate the love and work that goes into these games (and your videos) that much more. Thanks!
The Lomei Labyrinths just floating there is so... ominous, a familiar yet completely mysterious location just looming over you, more mysterious than before
I really like your guys channel because you’re thorough and catch all the small stuff and provide some cool insights. To know that the zonai labyrinths will be lifted off the ground is such a cool thing to hear!
You guys are absolutely killing the analysis on these trailers. Furthermore, at the ending of the trailer it low key confirmed your previous prediction of the Twilight having something to do with this title.
I love how deep you go with these, this is a pretty great amount of information just from these trailers, and a not so common opportunity as well, since both games are set in the same place, and not so distant in time from the events of the previous game. A satisfying video to watch mate. Great stuff.
I was waiting for this video, almost no one ever compare to Zelda tears of the kingdom trailer to Breath of the wild location, I think you are first one who has done that
This is brilliant, I made a post on the subreddit just last night showing the same location for the Death Mountain rail shot so I’m glad we agree there haha. The rest of the comparisons are also fantastic, showing more of the area with the free-cam is great for getting a feel for what’s different in TotK! :) Subscribed to see more in the future, awesome work :)
The question is not what purpose will the mazes serve, as that is evident that there will be something of value in them. The question is what will be in their place at the locations they are now.
This is really cool stuff! I wonder how much time has passed between games now. It's amazing to see just how much better LODs are in this game, too, even with the Switch's limited hardware and how jam-packed this game looks. The Wii U really held BotW back.
Ty for your works on the differences between totk and botw locations. I do some research on my side for totk and this help me. I tried to do the same work but I don't have those skills for manipulate the images
It's funny to watch the BOTW scenes, with Link hanging onto sides of mountains going "I know the future! One day this lava will stop flowing and there will be bokoblins mining here, and I will swing on down and surprise them!"
I think you drop those special stones down from the sky islands and they form the green spirals. These are charge points for your green canisters. You will be able to activate and use weapons with more green energy, but you will run out as you traverse hyrule and need to drop more charge points from above. There will be many underground and on ground missions needed to complete before you can eventually get to Ganon
Seeing all these differences I really wonder about the timeline for TotK. Is it 5 years after? 10? who knows. There's a lot of new things in the wilds and settlements. Really excited for this game.
To me, those glowing objects in Hateno village bear some similarities to the aliens invader from Majora Mask where they would kidnapped the cows in that games. Even now, looking at a respectable distance, their appearance are engulf with strange light so maybe in TOTK they are there for the purpose of serving the same gimmick?
Something makes me feel like a lot of this game is going to take place before the events in breath of the wild. It might not only be a sequel, but a prequel
Can I rewind and fast forward time on any piece of ground or object and also place the suns arch anywhere in the sky i want after I get all the time shift juice potions or what?
Not entirely convinced about the labyrinth in the sky though. We can clearly see the cube labyrinth on the ground in the shot with the bokogoblin being carried by a dragon-like bird.
It's more that the Zonai were advanced after they disappeared to the sky, which explains the barbarian tribal culture Not the first time it's happened in Zelda either, Minish cap had a wind tribe
@@haruhisuzumiya6650 that less so what I'm describing. I'm mostly trying to theorize the disappearance of all Sheikah technology. Notice how all mentioning of their existence is gone in TotK trailers, even down to the ancient flame torches. I find it highly unlikely Robbie at the ancient tech lab simply stopped working on shekiah tech and threw it all in the ocean, all the old guardians have simply disappeared as if they were never there to begin with. It's less to do with the zonai being advanced.
Wasn't it mentioned somewhere that the Zonai are, by all appearances, related to the Twili of Twilight Princess? Two things I've also noticed were that there are flying creatures in this trailer that somewhat resemble Kargaroks, which have only ever appeared in Wind Waker and Twilight Princess. This resemblance could be merely coincidental, though I feel it's more likely that the design of Kargaroks influenced their design, and that they likely bear the same name. Likewise, there was a short part in the trailer of a very large, fat creature that seemed to resemble a Bokoblin. To me, it seemed similar in appearance to King Bulblin, from Twilight Princess. While I doubt it's the very same, I would not at all be surprised if packs of Bokoblins in ToTK are lead by chieftains whose designs were heavily inspired by Bulblin.
I hope they lift the now cube maze, and flip it 180 degrees that way the maze we already know is at the bottom. Why? Because now we'll have 5 new sides to explore. Unless there's a motion device on each side of the maze to change whatever side is facing up.
I wonder why some things are removed like the lab. In-game explanation... is something I really would like to hear. Is this an immediate sequel, is it one where a lot of time passes or this is a new Link and Zelda, or could it be whatever happens in the story just drastically changes the land just that much? I only have more questions now.
since breath of the wild was designed for the wii u, i imagine tears of the kingdom will have better performance and improved visuals even if it's still running on the same hardware.
It's the same world, so of course the areas are similar. It seems to be changing and they showed some underground areas so we'll probably get a whole new underground world to explore.
I have a feeling it’s gonna be a controversy when more people realize TOTK is in the same world as BOTW, adding on to it being $70, but I’m excited to see how it’s changed.

Impressive comparison, definitely one of if not THE most in depth out there!

The labyrinths were originally from the sky,

I would also like to know
How so? I'm curious

The floating zonai labyrinths got me more excited about TotK than almost anything else.
Top-notch analysis as always with cool shots to replicate the views of the trailer :)

Maybe they are warp points that bring you up into a corresponding sky island? Kinda like how the sheikah towers worked
At 0:15 we see one of the rocks that flew down later in the trailer. They clearly have malice in them
