I had a similar under hood light as that Matco one that was supposed to be 1200 lumens. It was horribly dim and I took it back immediately. Sucks, because I liked everything else about the light order than the awful output.
1k lumens would be even worse.
I think some aircraft and shipbuilding use T-70.

Camcor/textron will want royalties if you say torx on a product...
They not be able to call them Torx because the profile is different for the rpt deal. Does the tool need to be a certain shape to be called Torx?
No it is a trademark deal with the company that invented the torx. If you call it a star you don’t have to pay.

I like matco tools but they're trying to get over on people lately with the prices they want for tools made out of Taiwan honestly I'd rather go buy Harbor Freight icon if I want Taiwan tools They probably come out of one of the same factories anyway
I hear so many people go back and forth about grip edge rbrt and opti grip 😂 I don’t even try to tell them they’re all the same any more. I also stopped entertaining the snap on fanboys when they say that snap on does everything in house lol pretty sure that snap ons peg style socket trays are Hansen or mechanics timesaver lol matco gets the most hate for rebranding but pretty sure my lug/lock flip sockets that say Mac are the same exact thing as the blue point ones my buddy has and the Matco one my partner has. People don’t understand that for some reason. Bottom line is everyone yes even snap on does rebrand stuff lol
The reason Matco gets so much hate is because they don't "make" anything but tool boxes. ALL of their tools are rebrands except for ratchets, which are made specially for them and them alone, and "possibly" a couple other things here and there.
While Snap-On absolutely rebrands, they don't rebrand "everything", or even "nearly everything" like Matco.
@@puterg0d 100%. Snap on does a huge amount of stuff in house and I don’t disagree with that. Mac makes a good portion of their stuff too although they’re kinda of all over the place either way their stuff like proto and the other brands Stanley black&decker own. I own a lot of matco and a lot of snap on and have a Mac (red dewalt) High torque. Not that you care about what I own I’m just saying I’m no hater I find most of my truck brand stuff to be great. Matco has some great tool carts/boxes and I love the ratchets sockets torque wrenches etc. I own. You ask me though my favorite would probably have to be snappy and Matco tied just cause MAC’s website is not very good in terms of finding stuff without having the proper part number and the lack of a dealer
@@puterg0d please don’t hesitate to correct me if I’m wrong about some stuff by the way. I’m still what you’d call an intermediate level tech. Just got my A6 cert last week. just getting into the industry within the last 3-4 years and if I get something wrong I’d like to know just so I can get to know my shit better lol
