Think twice about keeping this dog. I think you should place her for adoption. People are getting the idea that your farm is going to become a dumping ground and you are going to be overwhelmed with unwanted pets. I know your heart is in the right place, but a lot of people will be taking advantage.
Such a happy & content older dog. Freeze dried watermelon sounds like a great snack. Like the fact that you explain what steps you have taken to rescue this older dog. Maybe an older couple could adopt her.❤❤❤
Yes, I too thought that. I think the Lord dropped her off to the Cogs' because He knew she needed loving care in her final phase of life and they are just the right place & people to love her.
Brooke, you are my hero! Saving this beautiful little senior girl is nothing short of a miracle. She must have been someone’s beloved pet at some point in her life. Your kindness is inspiring and makes me cry happy tears of joy for her. Thank you for all you do and share with us. The world is a better place today because of Mrs. Cog Hill.❤ Thank you so much. ❤
Sad thing is, now that people know you guys are so kind hearted and if they can figure out where you are , you are going to have this happen probably a lot .
Unfortunately, I agree. But, if anyone can help animals in need the beautiful souls that are blessed to find Cog Hill are deadly blessed. Maybe it's time to get a non-profit rescue status. It looks like they are being lead in that direction.
From a fellow animal lover, thank you Brooke for taking in this poor stray puppy and bathing, watering and feeding her along with the vet visit. You’re the best! ❤😊
Brooke your heart must be as big as Texas! You are a treasure. I am so glad you are keeping the little black fur baby. I believe you have literally saved her little life.
Thank you all for being such animal lovers. This sweet old lady seriously needed a warm, loving place to land to live out her life happily. Can't wait to hear what you end up naming her! Welcome to the Cog Hill family little one!🥰
It breaks my heart that this senior sweetheart was either abandoned or somehow got lost. She's not feral so someone used to take care of her. She could not have found a better driveway to end up at!! Thank you again Brooke, Jason and MaryCarl!!
She looks like a little bear. So cute. Thank you, Brooke for taking care of her. She found her way to you, because she knew you would save her. 🥰 Freeze dried watermelon! Oh man, oh man! 🍉
Poor sweet elderly lady, she's so lucky that you found her. Please if you haven't already let the local PD know just in case it's a senior who doesn't have access to the internet. Thank you for taking such good care of her ❤
Animals always showed up at my grandparents’ house. They took in every dog (5) and every cat (6+) that came their way. They know who can care for them and they know who is good people (as my grandparents said).❤ Her face is precious!!!!!!!!! Thank you for giving her a home.
Brooke, I’m so glad she didn’t have heart worms. Poor little thing. She had to be walking for a while to pick up all those flees and worms. Thank you for caring for this senior dog and may the last part of her life be her happiest! ❤
Thank y'all for helping this little senior girl live out her years like the princess she was destined to be! A 10+ year old Chihuahua showed up at my house in rough health. Between me and her financial sponsor, we made sure her remaining six years were her best ones. All the best! Love y'alls videos! Augusta, GA
Grateful you took in this senior sweetheart! I am a retired Vet Tech and you’re spot on with having to treat heartworm positive dogs. God Bless you all!💜🐾🐾💕💕💕
Snake Wrangler Brooke to the rescue - yet again! Sweet little thing is so mellow, she deserves kindness and love during her twilight years. Cog Hill's population expands offering love, safety and good medical care to all family members. And of course I cried happy tears for her.
A new edition to the family!! She looks like she will fit right on in at the farm, and thank you so much for giving her a second chance for a loving life.
She's such a cute, calm little lady that somehow found her way to your farm. God bless you Brooke for taking her in and making her feel better. The freeze dried watermelon looks delicious.
Thank You Cog Hill for having such kind hearts ! She is a cutie, looks like a little bear and seems so content ! Watermelon looks great !! Blessings to you all.
Brooke, your kindness and big heart are admirable. This little dog is so precious, and I have no doubt she is so thankful for the comfort and safe home you have given her. I can’t imagine anyone giving her up, but it’s wonderful she found you. You have now officially been adopted! Even if only for a short while, she will be at peace feeling safe and loved. Thank you!
She does look like a little bear. Maybe Teddi would be a good name for her. However she got to you, she definitely got to the right place. She deserves a great home and all the love and care she can get. Thank you for being so loving of those in such dire need.
She was probably left on purpose by her family knowing you would care for her. We have had many animals over the years that ended up in our driveway and hedges that became ours like this. Thank goodness there are people like you in this world.x😘🐕💐
That little dog looks like she was well cared for at one point, judging by her age and the condition of her teeth. It's a shame people can just drop a dog off like that, or any animal. I wonder if someone dropped her off at your driveway on purpose, knowing she would be well taken care of there. Thank the good Lord they did. God blessed you and Jason and MaryCarl have such caring hearts.
Oh my goodness 💓🥹 Brooke your love and kindness towards animals is so admirable. Thank you for taking on another precious fur baby in need. You have me in tears of joy over here. 🙏🏽😢💓 And like others have already said . . . her adorable face looks like a baby bear. 🐻 I know it will only be a very small window of time before all the love, care and attention you all give her shines through. She already looks joyful. I look forward to hearing her chosen Cog Hill Farm name. I send you and your precious family and farm continued blessings. 🙏🏽💓
I had tears this complete video, the thought of her being alone in that heat, probably scared, hungry and thirsty. If I was closer to you I’d take her and give her a safe and loving home. God gave you a big loving heart to protect these animals, thank you. .....the watermelon looks great !
Your heart of gold is a beacon that pulls lost critters like this adorable Old gal in like the gravity of the sun to the earth! The angels guided her to your door which is such a blessing!!! Much love and many blessings to you Mrs Cog Hill
Dear Jason,Brooke, and, Mary Carl, What I love about watching your videos and why have I been watching for years is your love and respect for all the beautiful animals that come into your lives, whether planned or not, you give them the best of care. ❤

Skipperkey! I fourth that! I believe you’ve hit the nail on the head. Always wanted one, never saw one except in pictures. So glad she found a new “Momma” to love her.
First Ms. Mildred, and now this little lady. I pray nobody has an elephant, they want to drop off. Lol. Thank you for rescuing her. I think Angel would be a good name for her. I love the freeze drying process! If you have never tried candied watermelon rind, you should. Imagine that freeze dried.
Hi Brooke, Thank you for being so kind as to take in an older dog. Just wanted to make a comment on the fact that sometimes when dogs get old people will take them for a drive and drop them off along side a road for what ever reason. A friend of mine who lives in Florida has found small dogs that were running along the highway and took them to the Vet's and found no micro chip and her Vet told her this happens frequently. People no longer want their dog so they take a drive and just drop them off alongside the road. It is so heart breaking and I am so glad you can give her a loving home for her to live out the rest of her life with lots of love. Again thank you for having such a kind heart.
Oh Brooke I cried so much on seeing that sweet little baby's face. I can't imagine losing my elderly dog. If someone dumped her then God will take care of them. I know God gave that baby a blessing of finding you! Not sure what you named her but Blessing fits. Thank all y'all for your generous hearts!!!!
I lived in the woods for years (in a house). I swear there was a sign in dog language with directions to my house. I found homes for 66 dogs over the years. How can you ignore needy dogs?❤❤ ❤❤❤
I'm glad the newest Cog dog was accepted by the other small dogs. She's lucky to have found the best place ever for the winter season of her life. May God reward you 10-fold for your compassion and care.
Brooke, you have such a kind heart and such a nurturing soul. I'm so happy that this poor little dog found you, she will be well taken care of in her old age. It's so sad that she must have been some ones pet and was abandoned when she got too old. That's when they need to be taken care of and loved the most. Thank you Brooke for taking such good care of her. ❤❤❤
I think God puts all these needy animals in your path, 'knowing' the care you will give them...the new addition is adorable, and so sweet, I know we're all glad you saved her. What will you be naming her? Loved the watermelon venture, it's truly amazing the things you accomplish !
It seems like Cog Hill Family Farm is also becoming an animal Rescue Farm. If I decide to run away from home I'm coming to central Alabama. Of course I am 77 years old and live alone so I have nothing to run away from, except for the 3 cats living in my backyard and if I run away to your place I'm bringing the cats with me. Good video Brooke, it proves once again your heart is larger than the earth is.
❤ Ms Brooke you are such a beautiful person. You have the heart of a saint. That little girl found the best place to live out the rest of her life. God bless you, Jason and Mary Carl.
So glad you could once again save a sweet in need animal!🤗She must have been raised with cats, and other animals to be so calm around them, and they around her.❤
She is a very cute older dog and you are an angel for taking her in and getting her what she needs. Love that she is joining the Cog Hill family. Also, love your freeze dryer experiments.
You are a very kind hearted person and that little dog was lucky to find you! Bless you for helping all those animals in need! You and Lester have quite the family of cats and dogs now. 😊
that is awesome she found you and your so kind to help her. It is sad there are so many animals out there getting dropped off, hurt, injured and you have a loving heart I would have done the same god bless you
What did y’all name her ? She’s got the best home she could have wondered upon, thank God no heart worms and I know she will be very happy enjoying her new home and she will fit right in with your other small dogs in the house and if coarse with Holly and the boys !! I knew the watermelon was gonna taste awesome !! Your gonna want to make a lot more of that freeze dried watermelon Brooke 😁!! God bless ❤️🙏🙋🏻🌈🌈
The surprise factor of a new animal is gone. Brooke you, Jason, and MaryCarl have such giving, loving hearts that I wouldn't be surprised at all if someone who loved this poor sweet dog but could no longer give her the care she not only needed but deserved dropped her off at the front of your property because they new you would give her what they couldn't. I'm so happy she doesn't have heart worm. It's a shame she didn't get spade when she was young because any surgery on an older animal is never a good thing. All I can say is that she is one lucky girl. The rest of her life will clearly be better than the previous ones. God Bless the Smith family and your love of animals. I wonder what name you are going to give her.
Oh my goodness, that puppy is so precious! The kitties grabbed my attention, as well! What blessed little animals! May they make your lives as blessed! TYTY for sharing! ❤️❤️🙏❤️❤️
Fortunately we haven’t had any issues with animal drop offs at our property. My friend gets new cats every year due to people dropping them off at her property. It makes me so sad that people do this but I try to understand what the circumstances could possibly be. I think the worse our economy gets the more this type of thing will be happening. But what a blessing for her to be dropped of at your place .❤
I dont know the little pups history but its sad the owner didn't lover her enough to make her last years happy ones. She seams to be a sweet natured little pup ❤ Thanks for your big heart and love for animals. ❤❤❤
So glad that little dog found her way to your home. Her remaining years will be a happy and safe one. Have you named her yet? Brooke your hair looks really cute.
Ah, she is beautiful. At first I thought she was a little bear cub. Glad you could save her, Brooke. The watermelon slices look delicious. Great snacks. Thanks for sharing this with us.
Oh Brooke, thank you for taking such good care of that elderly little dog. She's so cute. Hope you keep her and get her fixed when her health allows. Gotta think of a name. That watermelon looks so good. I'm sure freeze drying it will keep it just as sweet. Great treats! What a wonderful, kind woman you are Brooke. God Bless you Mrs. Cog Hill.🥰🙏❤️
Oh my, that lil ole sweetheart pup is a love! I just love her whiskery face and she's so calm. Bless you, Brooke for caring for her when she was so in need. She fits right in to the Cog Hill Pack.

If she’s an older dog, her owner may have passed and she’s on her own. Bless you for giving her a place to land.
That's what I was thinking too, she does have some gray in her muzzle. Her person may have passed and she got outside somehow.
Yes, I too thought that. I think the Lord dropped her off to the Cogs' because He knew she needed loving care in her final phase of life and they are just the right place & people to love her.
You had a tornado a while back, maybe she is from that time?

I thought the same thing after getting the puppies, Bandit and Rocky.
Has happened to me a lot.

Thanks!
Thank you so much !!
Someone probably dumped her at your gate, knowing you would save her. She is so cute, and I'm so glad she fits into your animal kingdom.
If that’s true, it’s a shame they didn’t leave a note with her name on it.
Brooke has a heart the size of the world.
She’s a lovely old lady.
Brooke your heart must be as big as Texas! You are a treasure. I am so glad you are keeping the little black fur baby. I believe you have literally saved her little life.
I agree! She looks like a little CoCo Bear to me! So cute and definitely likes car rides
She is so calm…makes you think she has been someone’s pet before.
Thank you all for being such animal lovers. This sweet old lady seriously needed a warm, loving place to land to live out her life happily. Can't wait to hear what you end up naming her! Welcome to the Cog Hill family little one!🥰
She reminds me of Gidget and i am happy for her to be safe and well taken care of. Bless your big heart Brooke.
Is she a reject from the puppy mill farms?
That dog is too cute for words!
Looks like a spitz, Pomeranian mix.
Adorable!!! She looks like a little bear cub.

Stephanie at Denman Homestead pickled the rinds and a lot of Morrow Hill enjoyed them
I have one like that who I call Baby Bear.😄😃
Ditto all of it 🩵 I know eventually I’m gonna get one of those dern things! 😂
Oh Brooke your huge heart ❤️ is showing through in every second of this video. Bless your whole family.

Hi Brooke, Thank you for being so kind as to take in an older dog. Just wanted to make a comment on the fact that sometimes when dogs get old people will take them for a drive and drop them off along side a road for what ever reason. All the rescues have been amazing but this senior dog has so touched my heart. Thank you for your awesome care and hearts.❤
Brooke, Jason and MaryCarl, Any animal that finds its way to your farm are blessed. You guys are a blessing to all animals ❤❤❤❤❤
Brooke, you have such a kind heart and such a nurturing soul. I'm so happy that this poor little dog found you, she will be well taken care of in her old age. She looks like a little bear so adorable. God bless you for loving the orphaned babies❤
Watermelon Rind Preserves!!! YUM!!! NOT the 'pickles'.... preserves! Very easy to make too. BIG hugs and blessings from Texas! 🤠
I’m always amazed at how well strays that are rescued seem to fit into a new place with new animals.
That was so cute to watch the kitten play with the puppy's leash.
So glad you could once again save a sweet in need animal!🤗She must have been raised with cats, and other animals to be so calm around them, and they around her.❤
You are a magnet for love and shelter for animals. They know.

I think the Guardian Angel of long lost pets is sending the animals who need a loving home to your loving home.😍
I dont know the little pups history but its sad the owner didn't lover her enough to make her last years happy ones. She seams to be a sweet natured little pup ❤ Thanks for your big heart and love for animals. ❤❤❤
I like watching Mrs Cog Hill Farm because we get to see what new animal Brooke finds every time. Brooke you're the best!!
You, Jason, and MaryCarl have a big heart. Glad you are taking care of her and she is safe.
Amazing how much some love and basic care can turn a dog around. Thank you Brooke for giving that baby what she needed to feel whole. ❤
I think your rescue pets are alerting the neighborhood!! 😊❤
I LOVE Bramble!
