    Good but would have been great to see a swoosh/diagonal shape being drawn. I appreciate the simplicity and brevity of this video though. :-)

    I've used the pen tool heaps, but I haven't worked out how to save it onto a layer. So far, it's just been a guide to use the line and draw alongside it. If I try to add another curved line separate - I can't, and soon it gets erased.
    I have some vision impairment, and find constantly, I've pressed something inadvertently. For example, after hours of work, I find that the whole project was rotated slightly. If it was recent I can undo one step at a time, but re-rotating the picture loses a lot of clarity.
    With the pen tool, if I don't hit the points accurately, too many get added, and then I have to use the erase anchor point pen. The curve tool also tends to join back onto the first point.

      @graphicsociety1  ปีที่แล้ว

      You’re probably in path mode. After selecting the pen tool look at the options bar and select shape from the drop-down menu. If you have a path and you want to delete it you can do that under path panel which can be found under windows menu.

    • @alaindubois1505
      @alaindubois1505 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@graphicsociety1, yes it is in path mode, but the path is not a permanent thing - in any layer. Another mode places colouring that fills in the curves.
      I'm just after how to have the path as a permanent thing - on a layer. As it is - I have to pencil in the curves on a layer - then go on to do it again for another curve in another colour etc.

      The small square shapes are not permanent. They are there during the drawing process. Go to Layers panel and click on another layer, they will go away.
