Thank you for showing how to do this in the least amount of time with no talking or showing things that weren't relevant. There were several videos when I searched for how to create a curved line in Photoshop and I picked this one first because it had the shortest length.
Very useful tutorial without having to wait 5 minutes for someone to describe what the video will be about. I just followed along what you did and paused/went back a few seconds whenever I needed to see something again. Thank you!
Can you customize the stroke style, like weight and corners? Edit: The stroke takes the settings of the Brush tool. Just specify how you want the line to be in the Brush Tool options. Wow, Photoshop is so cool dude
this didn't work for me :c I didn't have the "stroke path" option after I'd used the convert point thing. I just got shit like delete path and define custom shape :c any advice..? I'm using CS5
Sirmolio, I am not sure how a Photoshop tutorial can be homosexual in nature. I thought it was very helpful. There's no need to leave derogatory comments, they are hurtful to the person who's trying to help.
This is a fairly easy technique. To achieve this faster you can use Illustrator. Just draw the curved line with pen tool and add a stroke. Here is a quick tutorial for that: youtu (dot) be/kXxmKZtFutI
Good info, but WORST BACKGROUND "MUSIC" EVER!!! EVVERRR!!! I mean it!!! Had to turn the volume OFF just to watch this to not be distracted by that nerve-jolting, unfinished clip repeating and repeating.
Unlike "Dragon Fly" this HELP video would be so much better if you: 1. SLOW the hell down2. STOP or PAUSE on the tool selections.3. TALK CLEARLY about WHAT is being done and how to make changes.4. Not everyone who is looking for HELP is (obviously) as advanced as you are!A HOW TO video is supposed to be helpful, not something that needs paused every ten seconds. Just remember, not everyone is looking for a QUICK tour on such a difficult tool in PS.
+ray bryant Wow. Arrogant much? Obviously you are not a "real" artist because "real" artists admire someone else's work whether digital or by hand. I'd like to see you do a curved line digitally using either a pen tablet or a mouse and see how "perfect" you make it look. :)

Now that's how to show a simple process! There are 20-minute videos showing this process. You nailed it in under 1 minute. Total win!
Exactly what everyone needed! Great and simple tutorial, thanks for sharing!
Took me hours to find this, awesome. Earn a like.

In photoshop cs2, when I right click, the Stroke Path is not available (in light grey color) in the popup menu.

Judging by the old version of photoshop I would say that that isnt a scratchy record special effect but instead the real thing
thanks

It's MG! - Vinny-II

***** Make sure you have a new layer selected in the layers window. SHIFT-CTRL-N to create a new layer. I had this problem.
Thanks for sharing
Is there a way of converting the stroked path into a vector object? I'm not referring to a smart object. Thanks
Unfortunately there is not. It is best that you start with a high-res canvas if you need a larger size,
stroke path doesnt show up
Thank you very very much!!!! >:D
But then afterwards how do you get rid of all the pen outline things, they're in the way and I can't see what I'm drawing D:
+AstroLuxray same with me, i have no idea
Press Enter :)
Panayotis Chatzimichos don't work
Ben F. Skating Make sure you have the pen tool selected when you press enter.
Panayotis Chatzimichos dank you!

This vid is pretty. Hope that makes sense.
I wish any of the people doing this spoke or added voice.

that was useless...
Terrible tutorial, music terrible, no directions, too fast, and so much more.
Well, that's what u get for going digital instead of learning how to draw curves by hand like a REAL ARTIST LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!
