It worked almost perfectly on mine, but the vortex and the blackhole don't interact, the black hole just stays above the vortex unnafected. What could it be?
@@Kammerbild just fyi, it actually didn't do anything at start, but i got it to work in eevee by decreasing "clip threshold" to 0.1 and increasing Refraction D... (distance?) to 2.7. But with that, your last trick doesnt work :x Edit: it works, but the ring is getting affected by ^ Edit2: idk what i did but i got it done, thanks for the tutorial
This is super jank as hell, but I actually applied this texture to a cube which i resized nearly flat on the z axis, and then plugged the nodetree into the *Volume* instead to get clouds that actually looked REALLY decent for what horror I'd just committed. It functions with the black hole too, the light passes around it properly, and it makes for a more realistic looking BH if you're going for the side on view, especially when it doesn't need to be super detailed! Setting volume steps will probably make it look even nicer too. You will need to play with some of the color ramps to make the falloff look better, and turning down the emission helps too given that there is way more "stuff" being illuminated.
To be clear though, from all the guides I watched today, this is the first one that actually understands and explains what's going on and how these things work. Which I very much credit to German/Austrian education standards
Yes, it can be downloaded as part of my newest project for free. The procedural northern lights tutorial goes live tomorrow and will have a link to a procect file with that HDRI :)
the nodes in the screenshot are different than the nodes in the other video btw. also could you include screenshots of the full node tree in videos it would be really convenient. Great video once again!
did not work. well the black hole dose but the accretion disc dose not work at all. I copied the exact same things you did and even double checked and it did not work
that's an hdr file, you can look one up for free / cheep and it can be yours. to import it, when in the shading tab click the "object" drop down and select world, then add an environment texture
The blackhole doesn't affect the accretion disk, can you folks pllease upload comprehensive tutorials or else leave it to people that can? I've tried to recreate this effect by watching this video over many weeks and haven't found an answer.

Hm. If you are not working in Cycles maybe try setting the Alpha Blendmode in the material settings to 'alpha clip'. That might fix it :)
@@Kammerbild it still doesn't do any changes, or is it different because of the 3.2 update?

For me it worked by putting the plane's Blend mode to "Alpha Hashed"
Great video as always. It's fascinating that one of the most surreal things in our universe is just a few nodes in Blender. 😅
Lmao 😂 we already cracked the universe
"Space anus" killed me ngl
omg cant believe the way he delivered it haha
finally a black hole that is easy and works
great video, this is best black hole tutorial
A late congratulations on reaching 10k subscribers!
Oh thanks! its not that late though - Just this morning I think :D
works perfectly cheers
oh fixed my issue :D awesome tutorial!
A black hole in EEVEE??? Dude thank you so much for this tutorial lool
dear god FINALLY! I found out how to make the sphere affect the disc in EEVEE. just set the disc to "Alpha clip" and the "clip threshold" to 0
i tried that and it didn't work
Good tutorials
Beautiful 🔥
I've got this mostly down pat, my vortex just doesn't seem to get affected by the blackholes refraction.
same

Oh and if you do this - change the texture coordinates to "Object" instead of Generated!
You have nice style of teaching.
Just drawing your attention, you kept saying "BDSF", actual is "BSDF"(you swaped S and D).
Force of habit i guess
@@smylemusicproductions8897 dont do me like that bro

Not only is the accent german, but the human is painfully german. Not austrian, but so painfully german.
Und damit danke fuers Tutorial und gute Nacht

Nice tutorial but i can't make bounds of the sphere disappear in new version (4.3) I tried different methods but it just doesn't work
Just awesome
The algorithm brought me here and I have no clue why.
I don't know either, but cool that TH-cam decided to show my videos to at least one person I guess
im confused, im a beginner, and for the disk texture, you used an add node that looks like a mapping node but i dont know what it is
it's a vector math node with the operation set to "add"
I don't get a single step xD I don't even know why TH-cam recomend me this video.
But it looks great ^^
Thanks my dude :D And thanks TH-cam for the random People I guess ^^
@@Kammerbild hello! where did you get the hdri?
how do you make the ring like 2:56 ?
Could you provide a link to the HDRI used?
Great video love how quick and efficient it is

Lol, space anus lol, made me laugh so much
hey ! nice tutorial and result ! How did you manage to get a night sky like this ?
umm can you make a video about how to make this relastic stars bec i dont want just a stars i want some colors like you
its an HDRI, theres lots free online
help, why isn't the round part of my blackhole visible under the ring
how i can animate it?
HOw to color it?
OH very thank you :)
Seems to bending correctly for me in cycles but not Eevee
Klappt bei mir leider auch nicht. Hast du eine Idee woran es liegen könnte?
did not work. well the black hole dose but the accretion disc dose not work at all. I copied the exact same things you did and even double checked and it did not work
Nice dude Is it possible to import it to roblox studio without it breaking?
Did you start with a HDRI?
If not, what is a sphere doing in space? 😶
I am a beginner in Blender....
Hello,
Yes I started with a HDRI.
Lol space anus. Subscribed
How did you make the space background?

0:59 как вы это сделали??
🤣👌👌

Try to set the blend mode to clipping on the disk and see if that works if you are on Eevee or try it in cycles
('Alpha clipping')
@@Kammerbild not sure what that guys problem was but this tip worked thank you :)
