gotta love the Kahawai ( Aussie Salmon) & if you want long lasting baits from your off cuts salt them down most other fish love it too

Never tire of your video’s Steve….beautiful sunrise and lovely fish. My old Dad always made sure he “cared for his catch” to ensure the optimum table fare…..this he instilled in my brother and I. Loved your preparation and recipe. Thanks again for sharing Steve.

Yeah I quite enjoy eating them as long as they're not too big.
The big ones can be pretty tough.

Thanks Nudge.. next time I'll coat them in flour.. then egg.. then coconut. It'll hold more coconut that way.

Do you bleed a salmon when first caught as you do with Taylor and blackfish?

Great catch and cook video Steve. You may have found the secret with cooking Australian Salmon, but I doubt my wife will cook it here, even with the Coconut and Curry Powder.

You certainly know how to fillet a salmon mate , some lovely fillets there .
Let us know how those off cuts go as bait if you use them .
Only new to your channel but love your content and new sub .
What part of the 90 mile beach are you on ?
