- Originally in 4 parts on Gametrailers, this is a recap of the Wolfenstein franchise: Wolfenstein 3D, its prequel Spear of Destiny, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, and then a prologue that sets up the beginning of Raven's 2009 Wolfenstein game.

These Trailers are crazy and awesome hard boiled like the wolfenstein game and powerful like the max payne games and the movie "sin city"

I don't belive that game sold so bad what they grab it from steam, ps network and xbox live, I don't belive... for me this game stay forever in my heart... yes it sometimes gameplay is not looking like old school shooter, but in that year devops just do feathes like perks, because it was mainsteam and I'm glad what they did it, beside game have very cool story in very cool setting. I hope sometime they bring back that game in sequal...
@Uros Stankovic no it doesnt this is the end of the old story line. machine game's wolfenstein is different.

Interesting how Blazkowicz is taking on Olga with nothing but a knife..that ain't exactly how I remember it, hah. More like throwing a ton of a grenades and running like a scared little girl every time she turned around.

Hmm, the graphic novels are wrong. The Castle Wolfenstein prison didn't look like a swastika, while Hans Grösse was fought while he was active and in power armor. Didn't get his neck snapped either, which should have prevented him in showing up again in Wolfenstein 2009, I think.
And why isn't Hitler wearing his signature mecha suit? No matter, he'll probably be resurrected afterwards, according to The Old Blood.
4:04: *SPEAR OF DESTINY*
Love how the titular weapon ended up being used against the demon, unlike in the expansion pack for 3D (TV Tropes lampshades this). Unfortunately, this may have tainted the Spear's reality warping powers to the point that the Allied Forces didn't get the upper hand later because of Deathshead.
6:08: *RETURN TO CASTLE WOLFENSTEIN*
I do not remember Billy Boy using the Dagger of Warding against Olaric.
The V2 launch sabotage and the Kobra rockey plane theft happened in different timesets and locations, though.
Heinrich I was actually a prince, not a king.
OK, B.J. never swung on a rope and curbstomped even Protosoldats with just a Tesla Gun. I also doubt Heinrich was Panzerfausted by debris, but that's player choice for ya.
No mention of a saturated firebombing on all of Castle Wolfenstein either, but it does probably explain the new look in The Old Blood in some manner.
8:15: *THE EVENTS BEFORE WOLFENSTEIN (2009)*
Oh, good, B.J. knows how to throw knives at that point, but...
Apparently, the Thule Medallion also healed B.J.'s wound, which could explain the Call of Duty regenerating health mechanic. Didn't remove the blood, though.
It did get violent.
One thing I can easily say, the first two parts make it easier for one to NOT be forced to replay the "aged and overlong snoozefests" (the words of some critics) that are 3D and Spear of Destiny.
And in the meantime, here's to hoping the game gets restored on Steam/GOG, while The New Colossus and fudging Youngblood ge delisted for good!
I really wish they'd make another Wolfenstein game :/ It's such a shame that they haven't...

Something like perks to choose from (speed, strength) that will help you through the level. There is no health regeneration, instead you rely on health paks or inventory supplies. Enemies are varied through different levels, say demons in one and vadrigar assassins in others (no touching yet), they are smart and challenging; making it very satisfying to feel your wake of destruction. Weapons should be plenty, with 30 to at your command, some easy to collect, others more secret with good-

@@Churrowhisperer In Old Blood you there's a newspaper article "debunking" the "rumors" that Hitler was assassinated, and a note written by someone who met Hitler saying he had "cold and clammy hands" and smelled unpleasantly. So, possibly dead and brought back with Da'at Yichud super science. I don't think they want to confirm or deny anything, Old Blood simultaneously is a retelling of RtCW without the occult elements and also a confirmation that some RtCW elements did happen (BJ remarks on killing the first super soldier that he has seen their kind in Norway, meaning X-Labs mission is canon).

So did Return to Castle Wolfenstein come before or after Wolfenstein 3D? It's kinda vague here.
It was meant to be a reboot of the 3D story which would be followed up by Wolf 2009 and The New Order trilogy.
After
Spear of Destiny takes place before Return to Castle Wolfenstein. And Wolfenstein 3d takes place between Wolfenstein 2009 and Wolfenstein The Old Blood.
When he killed hitler he just swapped weapons like in the actual fuckin game XD

Let's see Josef, if id software spends their money a gazillion remakes:
A. The remakes will be mediocre, having a small team making a brand new engine and remaking all the levels. Note only the fans would buy this if they cared.
B. Doom 4 would be crap because it's a small team making a different engine with development pressure, and would ultimately land the back burner of development hell. No one would buy this.
I would fancy remakes, but id is suffering right now.
