I am loving this style of story telling.
The voice acting is wonderful, major props and another congratulations for finishing the game devs!
Nice short film, any insight into the story is good insight. I can't wait to play the campaign, I will eventually be building up a team for PvP and already have a large clan but story is important to me, without it I can't enjoy a game.

Needs more humor. You got a lot of serious and whacky characters that can make some good comedy. Look at TF2's comics for inspiration.

If there were only two stars left, why are so many white dots in the background during the whole thing? Those look like stars to me
+Sathrimel Light doesn't travel instantly. Even for the closest star, it still takes several years, and it takes a ton more for stars far away. They are correct in showing a sky with all the stars, because they should be there.

Well, that was a lot of jargon I didn't understand.
So the stars in the universe are dying, which means the universe is dying, and... what? Are these guys responsible for that? Is there a way of preventing it? This is a lot of lore without context.

+Max Dweck Basically the evil dude in the video is killing all the stars to bring upon a "darkening." All the battleborn heroes team up together to stop him from killing the last sun so that some form of life can survive.

+Spongebob FINGpants Probably part of the joke, but light travels at a finite speed. For example, if the Sun vanished right now, it'd take us just over 8 minutes to notice, since its light would still be coming at us.
Who knows how far away those other stars are?

The writing and pacing were awful. Should have kept it as a comic.

Right a bunch of mumbo jumbo and sci fi words none of which makes sense, all of which is the classic same old unoriginal crappy story. Unexplained unfleshed out uninspired boring. Definitely not borderlands bad quality voice acting and 1st grader script go to show the story and characters will definitely appeal to a lot of 8th-9th graders who are new to the world and haven't seen all of this 100 times already. Forget this nonsense and release Borderlands 3 already!
+Jaz Sebastian Because making a game is so easy. You seem to have no goddamn idea how much hard work goes into the making of games. If GBX wants to try something different, then fucking deal with it. They are currently working on Borderlands 3! And they made Borderlands The Pre Sequel, to keep us busy for a while. Battleborn is not even out and you already say, it's gonna be bad? How about you wait until it's out before you judge?
