I believe this may be intentional on the part of Apple since it happened when the new IOS updates to my phone. The interesting part is it doesn’t happen with older IPhones only newer models. I may do a TH-cam about this.

I have a problem where some texts from android come through a day later, like if my friend sent the text at 9 pm the evening before it'll come through usually at like 2 pm next day. Most texts come through immediately but some don't. I've tried all the steps and have no idea if it's the phone (which is new) or the network
Kipacus Bro, If you received messages sometimes your SIM card is not the problem. Try giving your phone an Network Reset again, it might fix the issue. 😊
I had a problem with tmobile. They could not get it fixed. Did all the steps, reset the network settings no luck. Put the sim back in my s10, no problems. Ordered a sim from a different carrier, worked immediately. Ported my number. Left tmobile. ~Fin
Joanna Hilario Sis, If you are not using a physical SIM, then your need to turn off the e-SIM then Turn it on again, It will work as ejecting and reinserting SIM Trey. 😊

Kipacus Bro, If you received messages sometimes your SIM card is not the problem. Try giving your phone an Network Reset again, it might fix the issue. 😊

iPhone 14 is esim capable,so removing the SIM card tray is irrelevant

Try taking out the sim or if it is an esim delete the esim and rest the android
