Thank you for all these concise summaries and applications. I am reading through Leviticus and it is not an easy task….sometimes it is difficult to understand why all these rules….but your videos are helping me to see a broader picture and to understand more thoroughly. God bless ❤
Can you tell me what version you are reading. I noticed some of the wording is not consistent to the version I currently read. Love listening by the way thankyou for the quick summaries
I have a doubt about the reference about blemishes, and of course, I know there are things that changed in the New Testament. Do these laws exclude today people who want to be leaders and have birth defects?
(im not an expert but am trying my best to study this as well). These are rules given to ancient Israel not for modern day. But we can think of this list as spiritual defects. So, the meaning of blind is that the spiritually blind need to be shown true faith. The "lame" = stumble/ limp are those who choose not to walk with god. the hunchback are those people who don't have a strong backbone like pontius pilate. The dwarfed refer to people who can no longer "grow" meaning they are unteachable. Damaged testicles = inability to reproduce. So, inable to bear the"fruit" of how we live and ability to reproduce what they do, to then show others. Things like this. I don't think god was discrimination against those with disabilities. They wanted people who were open spiritually to god in all ways and as close to the perfection of God as possibleto qualify in the ministry. I hope this helped even though you asked this 9 months ago.
@aikosaracho - plus I believe since Jesus is a perfect Priest like Melchidek God wanted a “perfect” Priest to foreshadow Jesus; likewise in Leviticus chapter 20 (if my memory is correct lol) the bull, doves, or anything sent as an offering to God had to be “perfect” because Jesus is the perfect sacrifice for our sins to allow us to enter into heaven to a Holy God… he saved us through His sacrifice.
Thank you for the breakdown of the chapter. God is good
Awesome teaching

Unfortunately, true doctrine, God's highest standards, and morality are being excluded and shunned today.
Burning people! I had to have this explained to me.
