Thanks for the video, Buck! I live near here and have been fishing it the last week or so with no luck. Water visibility was about 6 in and still around 37 farenheit. Not ideal conditions, still about two weeks to go before it really picks up!

Black,Green, Orange,Purple. Jigs & Plastic Minnows (Fin S,Hammer H2O,Lipstick) On overcast days. The same for the Maummee River in Ohio, and the same with Floating Jigs & Twister Tails.

Hah the maumee? Last yr I got limits throwing a bare floater! That's the trend down there right now. It's funny cause the locals know, but the bait shop is trying to tell people what color 😂

Coming to Windsor April 10th hope to meet you retiring wife and I will be moving to Chatham or Windsor. Sis lives rite on lakeshore 5 mins from casino.Any way Buck just started to fish lsc. Last year ..But want to try river have tried in front of sisters but even 2 ounce is down stream in sec. HOW Do you keep a 3 quarter or 1 ounce on bottom where you fish from. Also do you cast up river and close bail rite away or will you leave bail open till it hits bottom.Is there less current where you are. THANK YOU Rod

cast 1 oclock up river as soon as your jig hits water close the bail and keepthe line tight till you feel the jig rest on the bottom. reel the slack up while jig is sitting on bottom then pick up the jig and let it fall again, once it rest reel up the slack and lift and repeat
