While the ROG Ally is definitely a great device, it's built more for those who wanted the performance buff and native Windows OS over the Steam Deck's use of linux. That being said, Valve's built their device to last and take full advantage of the benefits Proton has brought to the Linux platform, creating a fantastic portable device perfect for playing anything from current gen titles to the classics to emulating that which the PC platform doesn't have official access. It's a beautiful emulation device perfect for digging back into your old PSP library, for example.

It can run on even the most potato of pcs. If a handheld cannot run this game then it's not a good handheld.
