Yes it is the only command block in the world, some gamerules was also turned on (i.e doMobSpawning), but nothing to do with the doors. It was just so hard without the commandblock and it still showed how the door works. I should probably mention that all of the clips was taking in the same walkthrough and that made it hard to time it probably.
Well, the door itself didn't use the command block, right? It was there only to set the time Rotating the arms like in a clock was done through a clockwork bearing ;)
Create in my opinion really is the best Minecraft mod ever made. The name says it all, it lets you CREATE, the whole reason we love Minecraft. It fits so seamlessly with the rest of the game, it literally just lets you create and makes ideas possible. I mean I just watched a 10 minute video exclusively about DOORS. This mod has been the first time I’ve been in any game and thought “What can’t I do?”
@@Maelt_ really cool map, but can you pack it first to zip with 7-zip or other free program because on site that you used you cant download more that one thing at once you need premium for that andyou have to download aset by aset
This is suddenly one of my favourite videos on the internet! It's like Little Big Planet meets Kirin Jindosh's clockwork mansion, with relaxing background music! And it's reminiscent of the old Hatfilms 1.4 update video. This is wonderful!
Some of these are so technically impressive, but so, *so* dumb! I love it! I laughed out loud at the rotating iron door. The clock, though, I *adore* without reservation. A room or building only accessible at a certain time of day? That’s cool, however impractical.
@@darkdruidsvale Minecraft has a predictable lunar cycle just like real life. All you have to do is set up a system to count each day that passes and then on the night of the full moon have it switch so that it opens when it's midnight.
@@Corzappy really? I swear ive had the eclipse multiple days in a row, I’m guessing the only issue with this would be if a day passed well the structure was unloaded
I'd love a tutorial for some of these. Especially that giant one at 6:32 and 8:11. I love designs like the one at 2:11 that are non-symetrical. Lastly I'd love to say how cool the environment is and how much it compliments all these doors

Some of these doors remind me of those gates from the movie Robots where it's just a bunch of abstract shapes twisting and turning for a few seconds before actually turning into a functional open doorway
@@timmy2210 Idk if there is a good tip, you get better over time. In this case i was loosly inspired by fancy prestine manors, so try looking for a style in the real world maybe.

that 2nd Last Large Aperture Hangar Door that right there is my First Create Contraption Door that I have ever made from *_Scratch_* because the mechanism of the one I wanted to just copy was janky expensive and and not easy to fix also it was my first time with the schematicannon

Imagine a moon temple that will literally count out every day that passes and only open at exactly 12:00 for 10 seconds on a full moon.

Yeah, mine are just concepts honestly (optimising everything would be too much). But sometimes creating it yourself makes it a lot cooler in the end.
