I love how bosses go and interact with people who actually do the job. This was a clever business idea for sure, cleaning world and making money out of it I actually respect it. Being good to your workers gains my respect 10 times more. Thank you 4Ocean.
If only i could join you guys, I do my duty here, collecting trash everytime i walk my dog, 200+ cigarettes and have lost count of the amount of plastic i have removed.
This is incredible to hear! Thank you so much for doing your part. You are welcome to check out 4ocean.com under careers, to see if there are any positions available 🤙
I Love 4ocean! I always order bracelets from them to support what they are doing in our world! I think they have a huge positive impact on cleaning up the beaches and I think its just incredible! Love you 4ocean!
You guys should get one of those giant sand sifters. When I lived in Daytona Beach in the 90s they had a giant machine with an attachment on it that would scoop up the top ~6" of sand and run it over a screen as it drove along. The sand would fall right through back onto the beach but any garbage or debris (including that brown seaweed stuff) would be collected in the back. They would run this early in the morning or in the evening (whenever low tide was and people were off the beach) and it would keep the beach looking really nice. Good way to get all those small bits out of the sand.
I've been doing periodic neighborhood trash clean ups for about 3 years now and recycling as much as possible. So far I've removed 851 lbs of plastic, 71 tires, 2 couches, and I don't keep track of the glass and aluminum. Thank you for your efforts and keep up the good work. For 2024 I'm focusing on reducing my single use plastic consumption and continuing my obsession with picking up litter. Peace.
Yo 4ocean, I've said this before, you guys make cleaning the Beach and all your other cleanups look fun, I really think that is a great message in itself. Cutlery and other fast food related plastics and water bottles plus a ton more crap washes straight into our waterways from the streets through the storm drain systems. I find the same stuff you guys are finding whether I am cleaning the streets or cleaning our local creeks. It sucks that the harder plastics turn into micro plastics so easily after getting ran over and parked on by cars. There has to be a better way to control and clean surface storm water before it is released into the wild. Sorry for typing so much! HA! You guys are Awesome! TRASH TRACKER!!
The funds from the sales of our products go directly to our operations in all three divisions including daily cleanups, boats, investing in technology and innovation, education and awareness programs for schools, community programs, and more. We're audited quarterly by the Better Business Bureau to make sure we're keeping up with our one-pound promise.
I have a couple of weird suggestion on how to better optimize what you're doing at 4ocean. 1st) Seeing that you have multiple speed boats and multiple people operated the boats, why don't you take a page out of the ocean cleanup and have one big net between two boats. You skim the top the water and push the debris toward a shore to better clean it. 2nd) Seeing that you guys are a for profit business', instead of just depending on bracelet for money why don't you convert the plastic yourself to make different products, expending for portfolio. 3rd) If that is a too daunting task, why don't you convert plastics all the way down to base components like carbon, oxygen, and hydrogen. You can sequester the carbon (or make diamonds🤞), use the oxygen for scuba-diving or sell it to hospitals, and the hydrogen to power al lot of your stuff. Hiring a scientist or engineer would be a big help. Again weird suggestion, just thought I've throw them out there. I wish 4ocean and other cleanup project the best 👍👍
We hear you, and respect your requests! But the reasons why people use them is trying to reduce spreading germs and save drinkable water! So what is a good balance ⚖️♎ for the planet?
We're thrilled to hear you want to make a positive impact on our oceans! There are so many ways to get involved in the clean ocean movement. If you’re looking for ways to support our mission and fund our cleanups directly, check out the Get Involved page on 4ocean.com! 🙂
Carry your own spork. People can do it, they're just lazy. Looks like we need to go back to wood "cutlery, " It was a thing...we can do it again. Everyone needs to pick up after themselves and have some pride and responsibility. There's no excuse.
It would be interesting to know where all this Single-Use Plastic is coming from. Just show us the language of the labels on the bottles and plastics and we know. They are from countries, where people throw their trash in rivers and beaches, which will flushed into the oceans after heavy rain and storms.
Super ze sprzatacie plaze i ocean ze smieci najgorszy jest plastik dla ryb i innych morskich zwierząt ktore traktuja to jako pokarm a ludzie nieszanuja wod i smeca straszne

You guys are awesome 👌
You can count on us to clean the ocean and help create the change it needs.
Love what you’re doin
One question
Who pays 4 ocean to do this ?
The funds from the sales of our products go directly to our operations in all three divisions including daily cleanups, boats, investing in technology and innovation, education and awareness programs for schools, community programs, and more. I remember being in Guatemala and how the local people would come to the lake to have a picnic and then just leave their garbage sitting on the beach.
This is why educating others about the effects this has is so important, in hopes for folks to change their ways.
Needed a rake and full clear.
Did you donate to team seas? Keep up the good work!
