Purchased this tv in both 65 and 75. The 65 was so clear, the colors so bright, and the processor very fast. Seriously the best buy out there in 65 inch TVs. Unreal. I strongly recommend buying. The 75 has very vibrant colors as well just not quite as sharp. Deepest blacks on a midrange TV with the brightest screen, just Amazing.

Have had mine for 11 years and 6 moves across the country still works color just started to get a little blue when cold but it's worth every penny I spent 11 years ago on black Friday $600. Definitely outlasted any other tv I had.

TV reviews need to start including a dark content score. They can use scenes from House of The Unwatchable Darkness… err… Dragon. Seriously, though, how it handles dark scenes in HDR content is almost the only score I care about these days.

My first flatscreen HDTV was a 42" Vizio. I bought it on Black Friday in 2007. It replaced a hefty Sony Tinitron XBR that must've weighed 300 lbs. I was a Vizio fan for a long time, until the competition got better and my buying power improved. Now I'm almost exclusively in the Sony ecosystem.

I got the 50" Vizio MQ last year because it had the 240Hz PC gaming feature, which I don't do too often, but wanted to have it just in case. I haven't had any issues with the picture quality or the 120Hz performance for 4K gaming on my PS5. At least, none that are apparent to a casual like myself. My first non-CRT TV was a 32" Vizio in 2011 and I haven't had a Vizio since I replaced it in 2012, so it feels good to have one again.

Still rocking the ST50 here. Looks amazing still. Tweeked the settings and it looks better than before.
My first flat screen was an LG CRT if you can call it a flat screen, way back before it was a known brand. The tube went on it in less than 6 months, but the two year warranty got it fixed for me. Later I had problems with TWO LG cell phones. Really hard to trust the brand, IMO.

"The folks at Vizio have been wonderful to work with throughout this entire process..." That's lovely. Is that what TV reviewing is now - a hand-in-hand "process" with the manufacturer? Will the same folks be willing to spend the same amount of time being in direct contact with each and every customer? Because from my one experience with them - yes, a data set of N1 - it was a totally crap experience.
Never could actually speak with anyone from Visio - just a gig worker who showed up in his wife's mom van with a used warranty replacement TV that was more broken than the one it was supposed to replace. PM'd Vizio again and was told too bad, I had my one shot. Would have loved to have had a "wonderful working relationship throughout the process" with them. Oh well.

I’m glade I went with my gut and just got the q7. After a proper calibration the tv looks great and man the blacks.. This is my first tv with local dimming. My tv before the q7 was a Sony x800d, it had great color but compared to the newer q7 its picture is so dim and the hdr definitely washed the picture out.

first time i bought vizeo was way back then in 2016 i got like a small 27 inch tv and the colors were dried out and it was too small to see, its why i get for letting my mother get the tv back then. the colors were just so terrible on that thing and it looked so blurry, figures my layman would pick a tv because its like 65 to 100 dollars. nowadays i got a sony x80k and its the best tv i owned so far.

@@FreeAimDog Vizio was my first "Flat" Screen TV ever! I know it looked like sh** now but at that time, I though it was the most amazing TV ever, 32 inches. I have come along way with Knowledge. I have had the TCL 6 Series, LG C Series and now i have the Samsung S90C.
That Sony X80K is good TV for sure.

I'm soured on Vizio now. I have two of them currently. The 2020 P series is in my living room. It's a good tv when it's working correctly. But even after the various firmware updates it's still very buggy and my wife gets tired of me fussing lol. Then I have the 2019 M series in my bedroom. That one works great for the most part but of course it's considerably dimmer than the P series but it's ok since we watch it going to sleep most of the time. The bugs of my P series tho irks my soul especially when I'm gaming it cuts off out of the blue or changes my configurations at random. From reviews I saw I wasn't the only one having these problems with the P series but it just bugs me that I paid a lot for that P series in 2020. No more Vizios for me.

I just curbed a Vizio that lasted only 3 years before it started to fail all around. Terrible software. Terrible build.
I’d love to see you do some long term reviews. Almost all TVs are good in some respect out the box. But give it time and you get to see how they handle life.
I replaced it with a hisense U7K after having bought two cheaper hisense TVs and I’m very happy with it. I’ll stick with googleTV for onboard software for now. Always have an appleTV connected because it’s just a better experience.

I have a Vizio from 2010 and it still works great. Why so much hate? No way in the world people can tell a big difference in picture quality nowadays. Stop lying its based off of the brand you like.

    I bought a d70 back in 2018.
For whatever reason.. The interface and internet has gotten worse recently. The picture looks decent. I dont get to watch movies. Often with full dark ans surround anyways.
I am tired of the laggy interface and after a month of being on it needs to be rebooted. So i am looking for another tv.
    This model is the cheapest
    At moment.
I did have to exchange a tv under warranty and they handled it well.
I may look for next model up.

If you have the money to spend, buy an OLED. Best decision I made. It's mind boggling how much of a better difference an OLED panel is, no matter the brand. Sony, Samsung or LG...go with a newer OLED and you won't need another TV for 10+ years (unless you're going to run it 24/7 obviously). If you want cheap, then a TCL is better than this Vizio. If you like to game though, this Vizio is the best you can get for the price because of the 120hz. Other brands don't offer the 120hz refresh rate at this price yet.
