Prediction: There would be entire movements dedicated to protecting and/or hunting down famous youtubers (dream, mumbo jumbo, danTDM, etc). They would always have to be on the move, usually in the nether and have to stay as far away from populated areas as possible
I have a couple of things I'd like to bring up: Economics: Once everybody spawns in, they're broke. It doesn't matter whether you're a prince, a pauper, or Jeff Bezos, everything you once had is now gone. While survival is still tenuous, humanity would likely work with a barter system, simply trading goods and services. But eventually there would likely be the reintroduction of systems of vouchers for goods and services; put simply, currency. I am by no means an expert on developing currency, but I imagine that they would initially use some sort of less accessible crafted item, such as name tags, assuming the gold standard is not reintroduced. However, such a currency could be minted by anyone, so there might be a migration to preexisting in-game currencies. In such a situation, those who have adopted the gold standard might have something of a head start, as one of the two currencies would of course be gold ingots. All the while, human history within Minecraft would still be in progress, and not only would standardizing currency likely be low on the list of priorities, but while newly formed governments attempted to introduce and enforce laws, anyone starting to look wealthy might be in danger of theft, and possibly even murder, in the interests of either resentment or redistribution of wealth, to the people at large or to the criminal themselves. On top of all of this, depending on how societies are formed, there might be new heads of state, possibly from the previous world's working class, with their own views on how an economy should run. As a result, there might not be a (surviving) rich upper class or even preexisting economic system in any given society. Warfare: This is mostly to do with the fact that you mentioned the introduction of nuclear weapons. I'll first bring up that the Geneva Convention already bans the use of weapons of mass destruction, but it would be statistically unlikely that any surviving member of the human race would have memorized all its stipulations or that they were well known enough to be reached by any government, and a new equivalent would likely have to be drawn up. The main point is that in this scenario, all of humanity exists within this Minecraft world on hardcore survival mode, and therefore likely would be unable to access modding tools or the in-game command line. As such, any weapons of mass destruction would have to be constructed on-site, and would pose a great risk to the people activating them. This would be due to the fact that Minecraft has no mechanical basis for nuclear fission, or most established forms of applied science. In other words, our scientific advancement would be entirely dependent on the blocks we could build with and the items we could craft in whatever version of Minecraft we ended up in, restricting emerging technologies to a minimum scale of 1 cubic meter. This world's first programmable digital computer might take up a city block, and the first computer we could run DOOM on might be somewhere on the scale of a medium-size country. In order to "nuke" a city, you would likely have to line the streets and housing with TNT, wire it all up to some number of simultaneous inputs, and somehow do all of this without even one person noticing and telling the local government, which you would have to coordinate without handy things like radio communications. And in all this I have written off the lives of the poor souls responsible for detonating the whole ordeal as a "necessary" sacrifice. I can, however, think of a comparable weapon, as far as something that would kill civilians and totally ruin the area goes: buckets upon buckets of lava. Edit: Okay, so my estimations regarding nukes were not entirely accurate. It turns out Mumbo Jumbo created a redstone missile scalable enough that in the final test, it leveled the area of a city block. So while they might be expensive, such weapons of mass destruction would be far from impossible.
Nukes are possible with a complex launcher to launch TNT minecarts that would explode when they hit but since you can fit infinite minecarts in one block they will destroy a lot of land
The good thing is (depending on size of world) scarcity would be eliminated. Most people would die the first night and the survivors would have 252 blocks (of just height) to build whatever they want. There could theoretically be giant skyscrapers where even the poorest people have large rooms to live in.
Gold ingots would be pretty useful since they are mostly useless, so only banks (besides a couple items) would need to destroy it to keep inflation down. Its also common enough, and can be broken into nuggets for smaller transactions.
Love the concept for the video, I remember when I was in middle school for some reason I wished everyone in the world played on the same huge hub server magically with perfect connection and how cool it’d be
Our schools in minecraft will manly teach redstone, archtechsure, trading with villagers, basic suriving, and overall all the small details like explaining mobs.
But then corporations like big wheat will lobby governments and schools into only teaching kids how to breed cows, milk cows and shear sheep so that they can have a fresh set workers that can’t do much but help big wheat profit. Man humanity...

But because people are stupid, they’re gonna see the “inhumane” standards we put them through and try to outlaw it. Imagine flatearthers evolving into roundearthers, and antivaxxers into antimilkers... Also, idk how long this series of yours will be, but it would be nice if you kinda described, how humanity would progress, if they would suddenly return to the real world at once.
Well, the huge stimuli games have on a person it would probably make you less interested in IRL stuff. We also would be lost, maybe creative, but also dumber. It depends really on the person and what they would be doing on Minecraft.
@@--YehMahDude Probably, but I mean not as much of psychology, more of ... how would people behave, how would they interact with each other, would they go back to governments and countries with laws, or some kind of castle- like bases, wars for territory and resources etc. You get the point, I guess...
Being honest, if everyone was thrown into Minecraft, things would be a whole lot more peaceful. Warfare uses up far more limited resources (iron, diamond) which are better used either as decoration or defenses against the omnipresent threat of Mobs. Governments would also be far more decentralized, as current governments would find themselves *far weaker* due to the fact that anyone can kill an unarmored player incredibly quickly. Veteran Minecrafters (PvP'ers and Speedrunners) would also have less power than you assume, they'd know small exploits or have detailed knowledge of internal mechanics that they could exploit, but PvP knowledge would run into the issue that the skill is actually fairly easy to learn the technical skills (when to attack, how best to defend), and the difficult part is using keyboard and mouse to enact them. Ultimately how close it tacks to IRL existance (are there just the 5 mineable resources or are there others, how close to truth is the crafting/inventory system, are there any mods in this world) would determine whether or not things follow IRL trends. Food is going to be the biggest departure, stratified societies popped up IRL because making food is a long and hard process if you're not being a hunter-gatherer. If food grows like it does in the game, than society may not ever develop our standard idea of a stratified society, since if someone doesn't like a person running something, it is feasible for them to just leave and deprive the leader of their output without much capacity for opposition while societies are re-calcifying. Potions would be the next major shakeup, but due to their limited durations they'd likely only further increase the collapse of centralized authority, as invisible assassins and nigh-unkillable guardians shatter the last of the over-stretched and under-manned nation-states of old.
There would be main infinite recources like stone (lava + water stone generators), wheat (Can be replanted), Iron (Iron golem farms), wood (sapplings) and emeralds (infinite villager trades). Because these are the main resources there probably would be less miners and more farmers because wood and wheat has to be replanted by hand.
@@jessemast7236 Honestly, survival in minecraft is *easy*, once the basic resources for survival are claimed (food, wood, stone), there are two jobs left, one is to improve the baseline (Iron, Emeralds, villager trade farms, ect.) and to obtain luxury (things like nether quartz, netherite armor, ender pearl farms)
@@ballistickcreeper687 I know that, but enchantments are a pain to get unless you set up a villager trade farm or something similar, as you have to keep rolling the dice.
tbh I don't think any nations would be able to form at all, I mean in a game as free as minecraft there's really absolutely no need for government services because one person could easily do everything for themselves.
in that scenario, the veterans would basically be everyone who as basic knowledge about minecraft, given how most of the world have not played the game
@@sirius6738 I meant Knowledge in general, pvp redstone, building (Just that extra spice), game mechanics etc. I can say I'm a minecraft nerd with pride.
With 1.18 minecraft, obsidian mountain could be a giant mountain range with a lush caves system underneath by providing food, shelter, and lighting. Sculk sensors could warn the inhabitants of obsidian mountain when people are invading, and dripstone traps/ pits that fall to bedrock could work as good traps since dripstone deals lots of damage and the fall to bedrock is even farther down in 1.18.
Prediction: as the society became more advanced(in about a month), the technical players will build farms, raid farms will be one of the most overpowered farms build, given totems, food, armor and weapons, while 95% of the people will die out in the first week. Builders will be protected by society for other uses, things like bedrock will be farmable in the first decade, and villagers will also be protected for trading.

based off this, you could argue that people would probably be using obsidian or diamonds as currency, since it's almost completely unrenewable and takes a while to build up a ton of it, as well as through the fact that it's the only way to access the nether
@@masao2922 there would be, because people would still need things that others might have access to that they don't, and it would only be reasonable to trade for it. Diamonds for example, as well as other non-renewable materials would probably be favored. I only brought up obsidian because it's one of the strongest blocks a player can obtain in the game, and is also one of the hardest to get in a substantial amount, since it takes a while to break. People used gold as money for similar reasons, in that gold is all but insolvent to most acids that appear naturally in earth's atmosphere, and doesn't rust. It was rare, and as such it proved to be an effective item for acting as a store of value. The less society overall valued gold, the more people would hoard of it.
I think that the 'turnip standard' (plain old bartering) would be favored over one or two particular items at least until society hits the 'Renaissance age' that was talked about where everyone has the stuff they need to survive and can now afford to start hoarding luxury hard to come by items.
@@christopherrogers303 generally speaking that's how it went throughout history, so I suppose that's how it would end up. Minecraft is pretty easy though, since you can literally just smack some trees, hit some rocks and suddenly you're clad in iron and can break almost every block out there
probably some people from most factions would defect and come together. since some veterans builders and redstone engineers are in their nomad group too so they woud probably learn how to use exploits. They would most likely retreat to somewhere far away to prepare for war. Before that the Nomads would get one of every block and item to be able to dupe them all when in a safe place. With redstone engineers on their side they would fly to the world border using flying machines on the nether roof. So they would be pretty much stacked. Full enchanted netherite armor and tools, lots of potions, beacons, end crystals, elytras etc etc
tnt duping is a thing, sand duping is a thing, and even item duping is a thing. but i would guess that the civilisation has already declared duping illegal at that point.

Honestly, I would like to mention two or three points: - The laws of the Minecraft Universe. Nobody knows if we can move like in real life in the game and other stuff -The fact that some people are really talented and that we might not know their identities is dangerous, Even more if you consider the first point. The popular players might die more earlier because of intended murder, Or because of mental problems. -Finally, we might discover new blocks, mobs and mechanincs which is a crucial factor if thinken about seriously.

According to my calculations we’d have plenty of space. A Minecraft world is 60,000 by 60,000 kilometres in size, so that means 3,600,000,000 square kilometres of area, or 3.6 billion square kilometers. Divide the global population, 7.8 billion people, by 3.6 billion square kilometers, and we have around two whole square kilometers for every person!

You won't feel lag because your perception of time is w.r.t. the time in the server, not in the physical space that runs the server. Say if the server has fps of 0.000001, you will still feel the same pace as fps of 1000
There are definitely going to be people in massive infrastructures where people gather to see if they can find their friends and families. This will be tightly guarded due to the fact that a maniac with a few TNT can wipe out tens and hundreds at a time.

DUDE thats a lot of stuff to say not a few things
Nukes are possible with a complex launcher to launch TNT minecarts that would explode when they hit but since you can fit infinite minecarts in one block they will destroy a lot of land
The good thing is (depending on size of world) scarcity would be eliminated. Most people would die the first night and the survivors would have 252 blocks (of just height) to build whatever they want. There could theoretically be giant skyscrapers where even the poorest people have large rooms to live in.
Liam: "a couple of things to bring up"
Me: **Hits read more**
Gold ingots would be pretty useful since they are mostly useless, so only banks (besides a couple items) would need to destroy it to keep inflation down. Its also common enough, and can be broken into nuggets for smaller transactions.

@Hussain Hanif makes me think if an obsidian city only allows rich or powerful people as its citizens since obsidian is somewhat hard to get
Bruh it’s the shaders
@Hussain Hanif oh that is a good point
@@huntre111 for armor and tools can last a very long time due to mending
@@ballistickcreeper687 I know that, but enchantments are a pain to get unless you set up a villager trade farm or something similar, as you have to keep rolling the dice.

You didn’t mention how the fact that most resources are infinitelyrenewable in minecraft would affect society
based off this, you could argue that people would probably be using obsidian or diamonds as currency, since it's almost completely unrenewable and takes a while to build up a ton of it, as well as through the fact that it's the only way to access the nether
there wouldnt be an economy
Minecraft is pretty easy though, since you can literally just smack some trees, hit some rocks and suddenly you're clad in iron and can break almost every block out there
Imagine if duping and exploits were ever discovered, that would be even more wild, Awesome vid dude!
tho factions wont reveal that to the public since their economy would crumble in seconds.
probably some people from most factions would defect and come together. since some veterans builders and redstone engineers are in their nomad group too so they woud probably learn how to use exploits. They would most likely retreat to somewhere far away to prepare for war. Before that the Nomads would get one of every block and item to be able to dupe them all when in a safe place. With redstone engineers on their side they would fly to the world border using flying machines on the nether roof. So they would be pretty much stacked. Prediction: Everyone dies from entity cramming when they spawn in
According to my calculations we’d have plenty of space.
@@franciscoaraujo6624 Doesn't a Minecraft world infinitely expand the farther you go out?
@@A.S._Trunks thats what it seems but the minecraft world is all in the map so there is a end its just stupidly far away and there is a broken minecraft time thing
@@franciscoaraujo6624 but minecraft only has one spawn point...
@@A.S._Trunks On Bedrock, yes. But on all other versions you hit a world border at 60 million blocks out from spawn.
I do think that emeralds will be the standard currency if people can learn to breed and not kill villagers.
I dont think so. The prices of emeralds for villagers dont make sense for us since a few sticks is worth an iron Axe or a couple of beetroot. I think diamonds, netherite and signed books would be our currencies
This is actually amazing. I thought I was alone in this but I always thought about what would actually happen if an actual society was in Minecraft. You thought of so many things I missed!
Appreciate it!
Can someone make a server like this please
Just figure it out idk man
I wanna join
@@deizelplayzminecraft8394 He did make a server! Join his discord and check announcements or ask around to find out how to join.
I love this series are you making a 4th one
@@TryHardGamerYT did you join how is it
This has to be one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen
Only imagine how many casualties would be produced in the beginning, when the more advanced gamers would summon withers to get nether stars lol.
Also, invis potion --> infiltrate base --> summon a bunch of withers
I would love a animated story about this like imagine seeing someone waterbucket mlg then have a epic battle
"Hello there"
Dream, Bulgaria and Czechoslovakia : interesting alliance
що звучи ми съвсем възможно
все пак Господ е българин
VS. Technoblade, USA, and Denmark 😈
@@MagicGum bulgaria has some pretty good minecraft players so dont underestimate
btw pretty good video
might sub to you
Yall underestimating the people who lag servers
Don't worry Bulgarian kid! I hear Dream is pretty lucky!
Prediction: Everyone lags out because the server overloaded
You won't feel lag because your perception of time is w.r.t. the time in the server, not in the physical space that runs the server. Say if the server has fps of 0.000001, you will still feel the same pace as fps of 1000
could you imagine if lag machines worked
@@RussianSoldier they would, you wouldn't notice it but if you're flying or fighting and someone enables the lag machine you would definitely die.
@@thomasduon could you imagine flipping a lever and killing like 7k people
@@RussianSoldier everyone just stops moving as they fall to their deaths
There are definitely going to be people in massive infrastructures where people gather to see if they can find their friends and families. This will be tightly guarded due to the fact that a maniac with a few TNT can wipe out tens and hundreds at a time.
Worst part? There'd be no way at all to know if someone had died at some point. Bodies don't leave corpses or signs of death, only a server message which I assume we wouldn't get because it'd be "out of universe" info.
@@chaosfire321 well I mean the entire thing is kind of “out of universe”
Your profile pic is fucking hilarious 😂
@@chaosfire321 I guess, if the menus did exist, that people could check the player list.
