Hello, I'd really like to, but local distributor is slow, and definitely not considering A306 as their priority, so it can appear in our country sometime, but not sure how soon it'll be
Cool review! I like what you said about the realism of the bass, I bet on Leila Martial's album it must has been a double bass right? So I am a jazz musician but newbie of this hobby and I am struggling finding a dac in this price point with good texture and realism in the bass region (the few representations of double bass I heard were "electric bass like", no bass extension, the not would stop earlier than it should, we couldnt hear the woody sound of the instrument, but an very artifical rendition of it which was pretty sad, Also a lot of them had sibilence in the mid/high region, with a pretty congested soundstage. If you have any advice for me considering my love for realism, it would be awesome! have a good one!
> I bet on Leila Martial's album it must has been a double bass right? yes, it's Laurent Chavoit's work you know, I can give one subjective suggestion. get some neutral but not monitoring DAC/amp, and then tweak the sound to your liking with headphones/earphones. Based on your sound description, I think you need some good open-back planars. They will give both a great amount of detail and proper weight/dynamics. I didn't test modern mid-segment planars, but I think asking on head-fi.org will give you some great suggestions.
@@PortaFi thanks a lot I've already bought myself a Focal Celestee as a first headphone cause it was on sale almost half the price haha. I like it! But it really depends on the dac/amp I am using. Spacious warm laid back ones work well with it. I've met Leila briefly in Paris as we have musicians friends in commun! Was very surprise to see her music on your review! :))) Thanks for taking the time
flagship smartphones do pretty good photos, but DSLRs still exists. that's the same also, some people like to listen music from PC, or some kind of digital network streamer…
I'm sorry for all the fingerprints on the device. I wiped it many times, but after a few touches fingerprints did return
@pt265 thank you for taking your time to write this fruitful post! I really appreciate it!
Can this be used for gaming when plugged into a PC?
I think yes, but I'm not familiar with PC gaming to be sure
Hi @portafi can you please review the sony nw-a306 walkman in detail. Would love to hear what you feel about it

@@amadismusic_SWORDFISH thank you for sharing! Half-price Focals are a hard-to-beat offer indeed! Enjoy them! :)
What type of DAP is in the review? THX
FiiO M11 Plus, as far as I remember
Why would you need this? Avr already has this?
You need this if you want to listen to the music with a really high quality
Doesn’t top line cd players and avr’s already have? Seems to be only good for streaming via phone/pc.
What else am I missing?

fiio k9 pro better for same price
depends on use cases
Do u know if the fiio k9 pro has a physial remote?
@@liquidxxvi dont buy it! my friend have 2 devices and both power issues!
try to find good ak4499ex
(i reccomend dac without amp + burson funk)
I will never pay a premium for a dac that doesn’t have dsp. The ADI-2 is literally the only DAC worth over $1k
good to know, thank you for sharing
The only DAC which is worth it is the Holo May
