I wonder how well these will sell? I like the idea of more racers getting access to boards without having to diy everything but It's a niche within a niche, so I worry meepo can't sustain it.

I’ve been very curious about the stooge 3 link trucks, I have a acedeck nomad n1 and I’ve been thinking about getting a set of those trucks but I just don’t know if it’s compatible with acedecks element gear drive.

Lotta esk8ers have only ridden stock bushings, or Riptide Krank bushings - which are high rebound. There are Venom HPF or even Riptide WFB, less rebound for more stability, and more precise control.
High rebound is for slower carving, less so for high speed but some love the feelin of higher rebound.
I use Venoms in my setups, not a fan of high rebound so 3links might suit me 😬

It's not just about the smaller turning radius. Like you've said, DKPs can also get pretty tight turning radius. The advantage of the 3-link is that it doesn't bounce back on you mid turn, as long as you have the same amount of weight over that edge, you're staying there. This is less noticeable at low speed but if you're entering a corner at 25mph or more, with DKPs, you will notice that the trucks and bushings are fighting you and you would keep having to put more and more weight on the inside edge to maintain that turn. With 3-link trucks, you can enter at high speed and maintain that lean. It's also easier to slide because you can stay low without the trucks fighting you by trying to push back up. Also, for DKPs to have super tight turning radius, you'd have to have them a bit loose as well, which means during the straightaways where you can hit 35mph+, DKPs could become less stable for certain riders, whereas 3-link is stable. Also, for those who don't want to commit to 3-link, you can also get Riptides with their WFB formula. These bushings have very low rebound, so it will help with maintaining a lean. Not the same as 3 link of course, but not bad.

iv never really liked those wheels. feel kinda cheap/plasticy . but maybe they have improved . I thought that remote is the FOC style with collaboration with hobbywing like the acedecks. good stuff dude ✔️
it looks like a collab, those motors look a LOT like the 6000watt motors on the z1 from acedeck. if so, the ESC and remote might be the same model from hobby wing, as they've been proven in the torque department.

Its cool to see a race board being made by a company like Meepo, but I wouldn't trust it after mad esk8 had to pull out of the deal since Meepo was trying to rush production.

That board looks like a monster , 28 mph is the most I'll go , I usually ride at about 18 to 22 . Great video, I haven't seen any one else cover this one . I want to see someone talk about that meepo board that has suspension springs , I think it was at ces , not sure where I seen it

Looks great, 1/2 the price of a Mach1 for those who are interested in racing. Mach1 is also wicked just expensive for us pleads.
Mach one was excellent on a longer track when I tried it recently where higher top speeds were achievable and the extra battery amps were needed, and I can see it being great on short tracks too with the trucks dialled in. This board seems like it’s designed for tighter/shorter tracks mostly and will shine there but I wouldn’t want it for long tracks with such a small battery. Considering the mach one isn’t designed to specifically be a race board it impressed me as one.
