The supposed skull of Martin Bormann unearthed in Germany had red soil like the soil found in Paraguay. It is said he lived there under a different name and had a wife and daughter. Bormann was very close to Hitler and it's hard to believe he would flee to South America without him. I would bet many plans were made to get Hitler and others close to him out of Germany. I'm embarrassed to say that most Americans your age and even older don't have a clue as to WWII and geography. All they do is listen to rap music and play computer games. If you ask them a question about history or geography, they look at you with a blank expression.
Adolf Hitler did not die in the bunker. He went via U-boat to Argentina.. From what I have read, he then went back to Austria, where in their town records there is a marriage license between Adolf Hitler and another woman. The signatures have been analyzed and they were a perfect match and this is back in the early 1960s. Adolf Hitler died as a very old man in 1969.

After watching the Hunting Hitler series, I think it's more likely than not that Hitler escaped to Argentina initially and moved around as needed. Bariloche is one of the places that he went.
Hitler died in his bunker in Berlin. That was always his intention. He refused several offers for his evacuation out of the capital. There are many witnesses who were with him at the end. They all stated that after dictating his last will and testament. He committed suicide with a pistol shot to the head. Any other theories are only fit for the bin marked "conspiracies". If you have any firm evidence to the contrary, it would be interesting to hear it.

I live in the US. I recently worked with a wonderful family of people who migrated to the US from Argentina. They told me it was common knowledge in Argentina lives there in the late 40s, early 50s.

One detail we ignore. Hitler had two doubles, one was found dead in Berlin after the fall. Was the other killed to provide a body, or did the double go to Argentina to be an image of Hitler? Now if he said that in the 50s or even the 60s you could argue that he was protecting his former employer from show trials. But he said in the 90s. Yeah, Mark Felton puts out some good questions. He has also a good reportage about the chancellor's best friend, which used to write his speeches. The vice-chancellor's medical didn't match the records either. The question is therefore probably not only when did he die and where, but who were these two people actually?! That's because the photo was of somebody who bore a minor superficial resemblance. Nobody today, believes that was actually AH. His body was burnt, so could not be recognised through any photo.
I worked with a german guy who was on the U-boats and he said near the end of the war Hilter and Eva and one other 'guest' boarded his U-boat and they took them to Argentina. He said his fellow ship mates didn't like the fact they had a woman onboard and was glad when they disembarked.

Take this for what it's worth. I had a friend who got his start in the hitler youth. As with many such early hj members who showed great promise, he did well and became very connected. He had met with uncle adolph on many occasions. He knew of a plan to get hitler out of Germany and into Argentina. Hitler and eva were out of Berlin long before the Soviets arrived. I see the consensus of the comments here assert Hitler didn't die in Berlin in 1945, but I think he definitely did. Hitler wasn't like some of the other Nazis who wanted to escape and live somewhere else. It was always all or nothing for Hitler. Hitler was deeply disturbed by what happened to Mussolini. I have always been interested in the history of the times of World War 2. In reading accounts of Hitlers supposed death it never felt true, especially as he could have left Berlin even in the last days of April 1945. I believe that he and Borman did manage to escape and probably did spend their last days in South America.

My father as a boy new a man who, in ww2, was a young forced conscrpit in the nazi army in Berlin during its seige. This man said that he saw Hitler, his wife, and some officials board a plane. The plane was flown by a famous German woman pilot. They boarded and flew away right before the allies entered Berlin. Shortly after the man witnessed this, his bunker was hit and he was knocked unconscious. He woke up in the custody of the allies, and being just a boy, he was allowed to return home to Poland.

The Argentinian Milanesa was not brought to the country by Germans. Actually, it was brought there by northern Italian immigrants in perhaps the late 1800's. It is just a version of the Cotoletta alla Milanese, which was similar to the Schnitzel. It must be remembered that about 60 % of Argentinians are of Italian origin.

My father in law worked for a German-Argentinian businessman named Thilo Martens and he learnt first hand how Martens hid Germans after WWII. More than 600 of them arrived in submarines and others came later via different routes. Who knows who really cameâĶ

The supposed skull of Martin Bormann unearthed in Germany had red soil like the soil found in Paraguay. It is said he lived there under a different name and had a wife and daughter. Bormann was very close to Hitler and it's hard to believe he would flee to South America without him. I would bet many plans were made to get Hitler and others close to him out of Germany. Adolf Hitler did not die in the bunker. He went via U-boat to Argentina.. From what I have read, he then went back to Austria, where in their town records there is a marriage license between Adolf Hitler and another woman. The signatures have been analyzed and they were a perfect match and this is back in the early 1960s. Adolf Hitler died as a very old man in 1969.

After watching the Hunting Hitler series, I think it's more likely than not that Hitler escaped to Argentina initially and moved around as needed. Bariloche is one of the places that he went.

Hitler died in his bunker in Berlin. That was always his intention. He refused several offers for his evacuation out of the capital. There are many witnesses who were with him at the end. They all stated that after dictating his last will and testament. He committed suicide with a pistol shot to the head. Any other theories are only fit for the bin marked "conspiracies". If you have any firm evidence to the contrary, it would be interesting to hear it.

Extreme hypothesis in the end, but a fairly good analysis of the "Hitler" and "Eva" autopsies. Remember mr. Cooper - and mr. Lafayette, not very good writers and both "dubious" characters, I would say - but still, both men have contributed considerably to this topic.

One detail we ignore. Hitler had two doubles, one was found dead in Berlin after the fall. Was the other killed to provide a body, or did the double go to Argentina to be an image of Hitler? While it is a nice thought that Hitler did give his enemies the final FU and lived 10-20 years in relative peace, unfortunately Hitler escaping to Argentina is nonsense. While it is true his body was never confirmed, that of his best friend Joseph Goebbels, Mrs Goebbels, and their kids were are confirmed. The kids were poisoned by parents to avoid being ashamed of themselves by the occupational forces.

And second, Hitler's bodyguard Rochus Misch said that he witnessed Hitler killing himself. Now if he said that in the 50s or even the 60s you could argue that he was protecting his former employer from show trials. But he said in the 90s. By then Hitler would have already been towering 100. At that point wouldn't he have rather say "Haha he escaped and you were all fooled"?
Bottom line is, he went down the proper way, going down with his ship. The body of Hitler and his wife are more than likely still buried somewhere in East Berlin in the vicinity of the bunker. Which is a fitting tribute.

Worked with an older gentlemen he told me his auntie worked as a maid at a remote location Argentina, was told she wasnt allowed to speak of what she saw/heard but she and around 30 other staff members worked around the clock looking after hitler. He arrived in Argentina late 1945 after staying on a U-Boat, a few of his officers too and close bodyguards. Eva braun was there in early 1945. I saw an interesting documentary about Hitler and Bormann and trusted bodyguards having escaped to Argentina. It featured a variety of eye witnesses accounts.
There they said they didn't just live out their lives; but that they continued to plan and conduct meetings with other Nazis who were living in other counties to further their goal of world domination.
Mark Felton has an excellent video regarding the identification of the 2 bodies supposedly burned in the pit. Jury is still out with me, but I'm pretty convinced he wasn't in that pit.

Yeah, Mark Felton puts out some good questions. He has also a good reportage about the chancellor's best friend, which used to write his speeches. The vice-chancellor's medical didn't match the records either. The question is therefore probably not only when did he die and where, but who were these two people actually?! The chancellor is known to have worked for the Reich's secret service during the early Weimar time and maybe these people were actually running under not so real ids... The rabbit hole there is deep and it reminds a lot to the current time in which core figures of the political landscape have seemingly complete fake resumes.

I worked with a german guy who was on the U-boats and he said near the end of the war Hilter and Eva and one other 'guest' boarded his U-boat and they took them to Argentina. He said his fellow ship mates didn't like the fact they had a woman onboard and was glad when they disembarked.

Take this for what it's worth. I had a friend who got his start in the hitler youth. As with many such early hj members who showed great promise, he did well and became very connected. He had met with uncle adolph on many occasions. He knew of a plan to get hitler out of Germany and into Argentina. Hitler and eva were out of Berlin long before the Soviets arrived. Understand that there were many doubles of hitler who were loyal to him and counted it an honor to be sacrificed in his place. It is believed that some of those doubles were related to hitler. So yes, I am convinced that he and eva survived the war.

I see the consensus of the comments here assert Hitler didn't die in Berlin in 1945, but I think he definitely did. Hitler wasn't like some of the other Nazis who wanted to escape and live somewhere else. It was always all or nothing for Hitler. Hitler was deeply disturbed by what happened to Mussolini. Albert Speer reported that Hitler told him in the bunker that he looked forward to death, that he wanted to be "liberated from this painful existence." Unfortunately, what is only a theory for those in the Northern Hemisphere is a reality for those in the Southern Hemisphere... A.H. Hitler did not escape, he only moved with his entire family entourage to Argentina. If the Allies had not made a pact with Karl Wolf (second in command of the SS) A.H. could never have arrived in Argentina. In Bariloche he had two residences, the first INALCO 3 km from the border with Chile is northwest of Bariloche, the second in San RamÃģn east of Bariloche. A.H. arrived with an entourage of 80 people, of which at least 70 were Begleitkommandos. I have always been interested in the history of the times of World War 2. In reading accounts of Hitlers supposed death it never felt true, especially as he could have left Berlin even in the last days of April 1945. I believe that he and Borman did manage to escape and probably did spend their last days in South America.

Well, since many Nazis escaped to South America, I would not be surprised if Hitler did too. Old FBI files placed Hitler in South America and Stalin thought he escaped too. Hitler was a "good Catholic" and so were many of his troops, thus Rome would help them escape. This was a pretty good video!

My father as a boy new a man who, in ww2, was a young forced conscrpit in the nazi army in Berlin during its seige. This man said that he saw Hitler, his wife, and some officials board a plane. The plane was flown by a famous German woman pilot. They boarded and flew away right before the allies entered Berlin. Shortly after the man witnessed this, his bunker was hit and he was knocked unconscious. He woke up in the custody of the allies, and being just a boy, he was allowed to return home to Poland.

The Argentinian Milanesa was not brought to the country by Germans. Actually, it was brought there by northern Italian immigrants in perhaps the late 1800's. It is just a version of the Cotoletta alla Milanese, which was similar to the Schnitzel. It must be remembered that about 60 % of Argentinians are of Italian origin.
