Hey Pete!! I love watching your videos, you’re an incredible golfer. But if you don’t mind me saying, I think it would do you well to take your own advice that you gave the 5 handicapper. It seems that whenever you are playing with a “tour pro” you tend to talk yourself down and you expect not to play as good as them. Even if you don’t, you should expect to and talk as if. I’ve seen you pull off some incredible golf shots and you’ve always had an amazing short game. Keep the great content coming!!
Lol are you stupid, he's just telling the 5 guy to act like a 5 not like he's bad, he's +1 while Tour Pros are +5 and better so of course he's worse
Taking the mickey of himself is apart of his personality. People watch pete because he's funny. He's had a sports phycologist before and taken golf serious and didn't like the pressure of it so he's gone back to having a bit of fun with his golf.

Brilliant video, love seeing the more in depth side of the game, how pros and caddies work together, I do a bit of caddying but as a 12 handicapper I'm more just carrying/cleaning the clubs but I do help out with reading putts a bit, but just generally chatting to my pro, keeping positivity going, I've learnt so much by caddying, and enjoy it so much

Great video. I love how Danny kept saying 'we' rather than 'I' when talking about how he played his final hole when he won. Class act.
I've never met a golfer who'd already won a major championship, but I did meet Mike Weir at a driving range seven years before he won the 2003 Masters. I've met a few other pro golfers in my time, but meeting the only Canadian man to ever win a major was special. I remember him being stoked that a 12-year-old knew who he was since he was "only" on the Canadian Tour at the time. That was so cool. You're a lucky guy to be able to play golf with the people you play golf with. I hope your dream never ends.

As you said, the way they talked through each shot and found their lines was incredible. Really makes you appreciate that these guys are next level not only in physical skill but mentally as well. Definitely something I need to work on. So often I just grab a club and hit it without even thinking about what a good shot would look like or where I need to be aiming and leaving my ball. Good stuff Pete. Keep it up and stay safe!

Willett is one of my favorite European golfers. I was very happy to see him win the Masters. Ready for him to get back in the winner’s circle. Seems like such a regular dude.
Danny has such great pace to his swing, that slow early takeaway looks incredible, and the downswing with the driver makes a beautiful circle aswell.
Don't forget DEM TREES WENT BIG.

Pete, another great outing with one of the best pros. Like so many of the other comments above and below, you seem to have talked yourself down, which is a shame. Suggest you maintain the positivity that you espouse in so many of your wonderful videos. Perhaps a more detailed discussion with a pro and his caddy and sight of their course yardage books, thinking, options, decision making etc would make great content for another video. Looks like the greens were lightning fast but either your LAB putter or you were not quite on form; methinks perhaps too much 19th hole the night before. Regardless, loved the commentary and banter.

I did see that. I thought he was going with Sim2 based on a recent vid, but it's hard to tell sometimes with the order of these videos which was filmed first. Maybe just testing the Ping here, and clearly not a positive memory with it on that day....
You'd have thought he'd make a video saying he's going with the G425. I thought he was going with the SIM2.
