Wow!!!! What a privilege, honor and just an overall sense of true pride in their majestic building! Thank you for sharing this and giving viewers the chance to see things like this. I hope you’re having a wonderful time! 🌻🙏
Wow! Thank you for sharing this video. I visited MG House in 2016 and stayed around the corner from it. Such a beautiful place. I went every evening and had dinner in the Green Room, which was the garden pavilion. The food was sublime. I loved Gujerat and spent two weeks travelling around the state on my own. Well worth a visit for anyone considering a trip to India.
Good for you. Just the sight of it made me full . In my posting to Bhuj (my Air Force days) it was a frequent activity eating lunch on Sundays . Similar thalia.
How lovely. My main problem when eating out in India (as well as Malaysia, etc) is trying to eat right-handed - I never really mastered that as I ate left-handed here in the UK for many years before travelling. 🙈
Looks so beautiful Chetna. I had a wonderful meal on the rooftop in 2001 two days after the Bhuj earthquake, it was still operating! Unfortunately we did not see the rest of the building. Did you also stay in this place?
I absolutely envy (not jealousy - that's not the case honestly) for two reasons 1) You can eat & drink in Indian anything without worrying. 2) having lived in UK all my life and when I did visit India OMG had to be so carful due to not having a hardy stomach and then falling ill for 2 days.
I can not say enough, thank you thank you!!!! From the states, we get commercialized western influenced limited depictions of other places. This personal perspective you bring is so valuable, and the narration must have been a lot of work to balance being present and trying to capture it all. ❤❤❤
There's something magical about the mixture of running water, plants and secret courtyards. Not to mention the food! I want to visit
Interesting travel/food report with your personal touch. What a beautiful building and great that you brought us into the kitchen

I don't know which was more colourful and vibrant, the tiles or the food.
