I love how this is a remix of the Giro's Death track. It's like Serpent himself is taunting you with the music implying that you will end up just like Giro if you fight him.
I think this theme represents Vent/Aile's hatred and resentment towards Serpent. During the final mission they're blind due to their rage and thirst for revenge. This is why later they involuntary feed the model W with their own feelings towards him Plus, this theme plays when they talk about their late mother and when Giro dies, both because of Serpent. So it's like they want to return him the favor by killing him.
This really screams determination. If i had to describe it, it would be like "Remember when you lost Giro? All the actions you've taken ever since have been leading up to this, and now finish it!"
@@eatvel Me too it's so satisfying to use it in the boss rush and against Serpent because before I unlocked Model Ox these guys were a real pain in the ass especially Serpent phase 2 dear god
@@ZoniferConundrum idk if this helps but you can destroy Serpent's 2nd phase with Model HX and his Tornado thing, I think 2 or 3 hits with it and he goes down
There are lots of ways to interpret the motif, but I always saw Fragments as the theme of Vent/Aile's sorrow. They've had a sad, hard life from losing their parents to reliving that with losing Giro. This is the moment they've come so far and grown through the game to get to, this is their *triumph*.
It's all lead up to this moment. The very disturbance plaguing your life for as long as you can remember. They took everything and everyone from you and left you with nothing. You've had a long and grueling battle with this force in their shadows and now you are finally at their doorstep ready to face them head on.
The Slither Inc. building reminds me of Mega Man X Command Mission's final area. The colour scheme and the music are both very similar. Also, rematches.
This is THE only game I can think of that made remixes the Game Over theme to be that of the final boss's lair. I really wish more games did this, because it's such a cool concept.
Storming into Slither Inc headquarters Vent and Alie are determined to stop Serpent once and for all and prevent “Project Heaven” from coming to pass. But Serpent knew that the two chosen ones were coming, using the power of Model W he revived his fallen subordinates to stall the two. But Vent and Alie can’t afford to back down, not now, if they do and Serpent wins, then everything is lost.
Ehh I dunno about that, sigma fortress 1 in Megaman X is the best final stage theme in my personal opinion, with this song coming in second place for me.
I do have to stick to both MMZX with this theme and MMZ4 with Ragnarok and Straight Ahead. While MMZX'z Snake Eyes sounds like the main protagonist is ready to face the danger for those who they loved, MMZ4 shows with it's themes how Zero is determined to finish it once and for all even if it will cost him his life. I did want to mention that I paired Ragnarok with Straight Ahead since they are way too much connected to each other.
Please don't kill me but this is my opinion for all the final stage themes that I think it's than MM2's Wily stage 1 theme. All wily stage themes 3-10/Sigma fortress 1 and 2 from X1/X Hunter stage 1/ Doppler stages/Spaceport/final weapon/cyber maze 1-4/Gate's laboratory/palace road stage/crimson palace 1/ Jakob elevator/ Sigma palace/enemy hall/silver wolf/hell's gate open/straight ahead/crossover station/cyberspace/Ragnarok core/snake eyes/United forces>MM2's Wily stage 1
@@joaquinzillich5393 In some ways, yes. But don't forget that something that's overrated isn't always a flaming dumpster. I personally think MM2 Wily Stage 1 is a pretty good composition, it got flack only because people overpraised and overused it.
The Mega Man ZX games never really measured up to the Zero games, but they were honest games, honest tries. The entire 'MegaMerge' thing is kind of silly, kind of kiddie. It's basically a magical girl action game, complete with transformation scenes. It's like very, very old anime and like, Ultraman. And everything feels less serious than MMZ. But they have a bit of soul to them! And ZX Advent is really quite good.
The Zero games were pretty underrated too. Unfortunately, Mega Man sort of faded into obscurity around the early mid 2000's. The Zero and ZX series don't get a lot of attention, they really do deserve it. ZX is a pretty well crafted game minus wandering around and getting lost, I loved it so much. Same for the Zero games.
I think ZX and ZX Advent were serious enough, minus the "MegaMerge" concept and transformation scenes. But I don't think a Mega Man story really needs to be THAT kind of serious, although I do hold Mega Man Zero games as the best in the whole franchise.
i really respect them for the risk they took with the innovations, my actual only problem with the game is the map, navigation and missions being very far away, everything would have been solved by putting more teleportation points everywhere( those transervers i believe), the gameplay is really interesting with the other characters in both games
@@LeonidasArg2021 I think that was a step in the right direction. After all, the zero series had things like systematic genocide, dr weil and racism so i guess it was better thia way. Still, some of my favorite games of all time
Giro, reploid shipping expert, is the direct descendant of Zero, ex-Maverick turned hunter, now the true hero of the reploid resistance, is now a Biometal called Model Z, which is the closest thing to him. Just to be close to his Great grandfather, Zero.
In the ZX era, we now have 3 races: Humans, Reploids, and Humanoids. The difference between Humanoids is that they carry Reploid parts in them, while Reploids are machines that have emotions, like our Human counterparts. The Humans are the reason why Reploids exists.
Kenneth Amparo There's such a thing as Reploids creating other Reploids, as mentioned mainly in X6 and X8. I'm pretty sure Command Mission used that concept for some of the Reploid characters, too (*Professor Gaudile* is a Reploid, and *Cinnamon's* creator). Heck, Sigma sometimes created his own Mavericks. However, we have Dr. Light to thank for creating the first [prototype] Reploid. Humans at large aren't really to thank. Dr. Wily used stolen schematics to aid in the creation of Zero, but he's a different kind of "Reploid" altogether from the rest, similarly to Axl in a way (whom was also presumably created by another Reploid).
Kenneth Amparo I speak mainly in reply to your statement, and I quote: "The humans are the reason why Reploids exist". Dr. Light is the reason, alongside Dr. Cain. Then, after that, there have been plenty of Reploids created by other Reploids. As far as the ZX Era goes, that has no special effect on who is to be thanked for why another group exists. ^ If anything, humans at large are the reason why *"humanoids"* exist in the ZX Era. It's awesome how the last level theme is a triumphant remix of the game over music... It's like, "yeah, it's game over... But for the OTHER guy!" XD
More like it's the theme of Serpent. As a game over theme, it's "he won." As a level theme, it's "he's here...and you're coming for him."
