@@BioMega96 I don't know anymore since the story I heard a year ago has apparently been refuted, but it was rumored that some clashes between them during Megaman 10's development had made Capcom cease their collaborations with IC. Honestly after playing it and seeing negative reviews, i literally cant think of a single reason why you wouldnt like this game? That the protagonist isnt X or Zero?
@@The_NatalistFor me, ZX Advent was almost a direct upgrade to the first ZX. The stages are fair but challenging, the music is really memorable, the bosses are generally good (I’m a big fan of the Vulturon, Prometheus and Pandora and Albert battles especially), the game is graphically impressive for the Nintendo DS and the mechanics are generally improved. The only part I don’t like about ZX Advent is how it has the cliffhanger in the secret ending and yet we didn’t get ZX 3 and I also generally dislike the purple cat double-bosses.
I find this to be very interesting. I like both Soul Ablaze and Divine Hammer, but a lot of people seem to think that Soul Ablaze would've made a better final boss theme. I can see why many would believe that, but when analyzing these songs I think people aren't coming at this with the wrong perspective. Albert himself was suppose to be very different from other villans in the series, and his themes were suppose to highlight this. He is a somewhat departure from the typical final boss that is big and maniacal. Sigma, Copy X, Elpizo, Dr.Weil, Serpent, all had these big, hulking final forms to demostrate just how deranged they had become at the end of their games. Not to mention that a lot of Megaman villans have a god complex in which they want to play god and rule over everyone, even Omega calls himself the Messiah and god of destruction. Although these villains have this complex, none of them ever truly reach that true god status and most of the time end up looking like monsters. As such their final boss themes reflect their bombastic formes. Albert is very different in this regard. 1. While Albert is insane, he does still keep a calm controlled composure. He spent nearly 200 years putting his plan together and the only bug in his plan is a defective recreation of himself. 2. Unlike other Megaman villans, he actually becomes what can be considered god of the Megaman world (Mega Men are already at the Apex of evolution and Albert is the supreme Mega Man). Albert is not suppose to be just another insane scientist who wants power, he is the culmination and amalgamation of every villan in the series, yes even Dr. Wily. Albert played everything as a game to fuel his plan, and reached that godlike status so many others tried to achieve. Yes he was still taken down, but only by either a copy of himself or a descendant. That's why Albert's final theme is so mellow compared to Soul Ablaze and other final boss themes, because unlike other final bosses (save for Omega I guess), Albert was the only villan to keep his calm composure to the very end and stay himself. He stayed controlled in his insanity, and achieved what no other villan in the series could. Divine Hammer reflects this calm, controlled, insanity. Sorry about this extremely long comment.
The Setup Wizard Okay, how about reserved rather than mellow? Either way, it is less over-the-top than the typical final-boss theme in this franchise. I, personally, enjoy ZX and ZX Advent's soundtracks far more than any other game in the franchise, but I guess it's just too "beepy" for most people (whatever that means).
Well in all fairness, Capcom DID make both Mega Man ZX _and_ Resident Evil, so the fact that both have an Albert and an Ouroboros (as well as Model/Project W) could either be an intentional reference or coincidence. Likely unintentional since Master Albert was named after Albert Wily, and Model W is called Model V in Japan.
Epic, and actually challenging. The dragon throne was great, and an interesting reversal of the "normal->big" transformation sequence you get in post-classic series bosses. Not being able to see the life bar just made it that much better.

For me, this was easily one of the most difficult Mega Man finales, simply becuase of the boss's sheer durability. There is a pattern that beats it every time with Model A, but some guy at inti gave this thing *600* health, and as a result it can be easy to slip up, ESPECIALLY when the heads come off and the pattern becomes significantly more RNG. After you destroy the dragon it does become a lot easier with the Homing Shot, but he still has many attacks which are hard to dodge. About the strategy: There are 2 red circles on the floor in front of the dragon. Position your character so that their left foot is over the dot that is closest to the boss and shoot from there. Use a charge shot and 2 regular pellets when the central head attacks, and when the dragon breathes fire dash away and get back in position as soon as possible. The electric beam can always be dodged with a simple jump as long as you are in position. When the Black Hole comes out, dash away from it once, jump the first 3 bullets and dash under the last one. If you dash, simply holding left will make it so you simply dodge every bullet.
This is among my favorite final boss themes (Yeah I know Divine Hammer is the "true" final boss theme but come on, this plays close enough to count and IMO is in every way superior (and I actually _like_ Divine Hammer, I just don't think it even compares to this one)) of all time.
I thought Omega Zero was the most predictable out of all of them (Except for maybe Vent/Aile in ZXA) You can bait his Tenshouzan Rising Slash whatchamacallit shoryuken swing like nobody's business.
Not quite, but I can see where you're coming from. There's some similarities in the structure, probably meant to signify this being-in essence-"the" final fight. Pokemon wasnt exactly all about rock, more techno/synth and orchestra than anything (WAY more orchestra, though), and while this could fit with the B/W/B2/W2 soundfont pretty nicely, it would probably fit way more as a Sonic final boss, since Sonic`s music motif is more of a rock-like theme, and since Pokemon final bosses have more orchestra than rock, Divine Hammer would probably fit way better (especially for someone like Cyrus, Ghetsis or Lysandre). why the fuck was this used as the first phase?
second phase sounds like a regular boss theme.
this should have been the second phase theme
remix imagined.
Deathwing must die.
damn, they should've switched around the phase 1 and 2 themes, phase 1 sounds SOOOO much better for an ending fight. And in phase 2 Albert basically breaks the fuckin sky to make his weapons, tell me that doesnt strike you as a bit curious as to why his patterns are easy to follow?
I mean if anything they shoulda made him the most unique boss in terms of battle, maybe make him intelligent instead of following every other boss in a megaman series ever.
when 2016 is killing ppl and famous
2020 called it told me about a Virus that's sweeping the planet killing everything.
this boss is so cheap if u use model f or model p
Badass, but sounds like it is straight out of a Pokemon game.
Grey used Kunai Storm! Hit 5,000,000 times! It's super effective!
Albert is about to use The Ultimate Mega Man. Will you switch forms?
