I feel you man. I basically spammed PX's shuiken and HX's hurricane moves for every boss fight. Right after the epic speech of bravery and honor, I quickly ditched ZX, switched to FX, and proceeded to shoot the living hell out of W with some sweet custom shot patterns.

Many different series and timelines all in the same universe; but everytime someone tries to change the world for the worse, or conquer it,; whether it’s Wily, Sigma, Weil, Serpent, or Master Albert; someone is destined to stop them. ZX showed us that the person destined to stop them is a Mega Man. Whether it was the original, X, Zero, or Vent/Aile, Grey/Ashe. Mega Man and Wily will fight forever in the spirit of their descendants the same way Link and Ganon will fight forever throughout multiple timelines. I would love a final series in the franchise that takes place even after Legends where there’s a new mega man and a new antagonist that realizes the permanent loop that their universe has been going through and tries to end the permanent loop which will end all of existence; and the Mega Man of that timeline tries to stop it peacefully
Which ironically led to his final death as Ouroboros combined all the Model W cores into 2nd Ragnarok in which Dr. Albert dies by said intended pawns; i.e. Ashe his descendant and his own body backup he viewed his own Reploid son.
When I beat the first phase, I had two slivers of health left. When the Biometals were giving that speech about the power of friendship, and the best music in the game was playing, I knew that I had nothing to worry about. The second phase was gonna be a pushover. Model W proceeded to smash me into pieces.

I like how seamless the transition between the sub-phases of Serpent's second form are. He doesn't flinch, he doesn't explode here and there, he doesn't even interrupt the current attack. I may have only watched both ZX games once and barely played the second one, but I can appreciate them.
Vent is a new character simply equipping the Biometals of previous fallen characters from the Megaman X and Megaman Zero mythologies. Example: Using Biometal ZX (Zero), HX (Harpuia), and ofcourse Biometal Model X (Mega Man X). the Biometals are remnants of these characters that transform Vent, lending him their capabilities. On a side note, according to MM4s prologue, Megamans real name is Rock.

In extended material found together with the official soundtracks, a scene shows X, together with the 4 guardians watching Zero's final battle and Ragnarok crashing into Earth. This was cyber space area. All 5 cyber elves simply retreated there. So no, it's not a theory, it's a fact.
I like the story. There is always someone who gets in the way of evolution because they fear the unknown and their foolish emotion of wanting to lose "good memories" or something. The ending didn't justify what they did, it is still "I will protect our world" over and over, which I'm assuming by killing Maverick and whoever gets in the way all over the world, and letting it -possibly- evolve slowly on its own, instead of making the big steps by himself.

there have been theories regarding this, mostly that as model z and model x are remnants from the destroyed bodies of X and Zero, Model W is left over from when Wiel was destroyed with zero during the fight on the Ragnarok, thus Model W contain's Wiel's consciousness.
yup. like i said, in the previous fights with the pseudoroids i mindlessly mauled them, mercilessly tearing up the biometals with no regards for strategy. i wanted to redeem myself in these rematches...so, very carefully, i had to chose the ideal moments and positions to attack...this is a much more tactical and patient approach...more of a challenge, like you said.
Man, I hate you! you make me look bad in comparisson while playing this games! *laughs* Jokes aside, the only way to make this video even more amazing it would be if you just used the Z-Saber, but I'm not sure if it is possible to get all the level 4 victories doing that. lvl 4 victory is dictated by whether or not you damage the bosses biometal while fighting. each boss holds a piece of biometal in a location on their body. Exmple- for Purprill, the monkey, the biometal is located in his large forearms...so the idea is to damage him WITHOUT hitting his forearms, thus avoiding the biometal and earning a lvl 4 victory. in my previous fights with these guys, during the missions, i tore the biometals up and just pwned them quickly & mercilessly...lvl 1 victories.

I recently beat him on the Xbox port, and goddamn! Phantom just eats through his first form! Using Harpuia on the final form is a little more of a challenge though, and still forces you to learn the pattern. It was a satisfying final form, at least until I accidentally popped a Tornado Hold under Model W’s head crystal and just instantly deleted him. Like, I’m one for using boss weaknesses, but when they absolutely shred the boss and make Spark Mandrill Syndrome look like a challenge, there’s a problem.
Happened to me when I first beat the game as well. Was using Model H for heights so I could reach him with the boost jump. Turned out that one charge attack in the middle will deal massive damage on him.

I think you can just stand under Purprill's spinning attack, then dash out before he lands on you. Is there a reason you didn't abuse the Z-Saber combos much? Maybe for the sake of fairness, or maybe it would've been really hard to avoid taking damage/hitting the pseudoroids' weak points?

We don't really know Ciel's fate. Maybe she died by age, maybe Serpent killed her or something, but yeah, her legacy through the Biometals was more than worth the Copy X mistake she did in the past.
The saber slashes in ZX are much shorter than X and Zero. Plus the charged saber is no better than the charged buster in terms of damage and range. So really, using the buster is more ideal than the saber. However, the spinning slash is pretty good
KstarSama i just did some test... Spinning slash actually give more damage than Z-Saber charged attack.so i rarely use charged saber attack (well i use Model O's charged saber more often because it's deal more damage than Z charged saber attack)

you know if you use model X you can unload two charged shots back to back and get more damage done per burst right? there's no real need to use only ZX
it's been a while since I've played but yeah. I don't remember if it's only available after you beat the game for the first time though. I don't think it is since I would always use X to fight Omega and then have to wait until you beat the game to get model O

meh, I never got the lvl boss kills. It might just be me, but wouldn't it make more sense to reward players for finding weaknesses? You take MUCH longer to kill a foe without them, presumably adding time to a mission that needed to be done expediently. I understand its supposed to be a reward for skillful play, but it just seems backwards to me.
I wonder if you can finished the game using only Model HX, LX, and FX. (I'm excluding PX because he can't even reach the 2nd boss unlike the others with their own abilities) It's literally possible without even using a W Tank. I did it too. But i'm still not up for since i still need to practice with those biometals. They are great but HX is more seriously the one that can be Model W with no W Tank. More skills is needed using these 3 biometals without even taking damage though. (Because i haven't tried no damage in the boss fight which is really hard when you have a melee weapon. I should say this but, Model PX can take the first phase though without running out of overdrives. The only thing is the reach of his weapon is not gonna cut it when its on Model W's 2nd Phase.
I know this comment is 3 years old, but... You went to area M after getting all models, right? And then area O? Because doing these both is required to go through the final door. Also, a weird design choice from the developers, if you didn't accept the mission, the boss of that mission is inaccessible. So if you went to Slither Inc without accepting "Destroy Model W" mission, the door to Serpent will be closed for no reason.

The saber slashes in ZX are much shorter than X and Zero. Plus the charged saber is no better than the charged buster in terms of damage and range. So really, using the buster is more ideal than the saber. However, the spinning slash is pretty good
KstarSama i just did some test... Spinning slash actually give more damage than Z-Saber charged attack.so i rarely use charged saber attack (well i use Model O's charged saber more often because it's deal more damage than Z charged saber attack)

it's been a while since I've played but yeah. I don't remember if it's only available after you beat the game for the first time though. I don't think it is since I would always use X to fight Omega and then have to wait until you beat the game to get model O

It might just be me, but wouldn't it make more sense to reward players for finding weaknesses? You take MUCH longer to kill a foe without them, presumably adding time to a mission that needed to be done expediently. I understand its supposed to be a reward for skillful play, but it just seems backwards to me.
I wonder if you can finished the game using only Model HX, LX, and FX. (I'm excluding PX because he can't even reach the 2nd boss unlike the others with their own abilities) It's literally possible without even using a W Tank. I did it too. But i'm still not up for since i still need to practice with those biometals. They are great but HX is more seriously the one that can be Model W with no W Tank. More skills is needed using these 3 biometals without even taking damage though. (Because i haven't tried no damage in the boss fight which is really hard when you have a melee weapon. I should say this but, Model PX can take the first phase though without running out of overdrives. The only thing is the reach of his weapon is not gonna cut it when its on Model W's 2nd Phase.

I know this comment is 3 years old, but... You went to area M after getting all models, right? And then area O? Because doing these both is required to go through the final door.
Also, a weird design choice from the developers, if you didn't accept the mission, the boss of that mission is inaccessible. So if you went to Slither Inc without accepting "Destroy Model W" mission, the door to Serpent will be closed for no reason.
