Hey Andrew, you rarely if ever mention Japan on your channel. While city living is, especially in Tokyo, extraordinarily expensive, you can get rural housing for dirt cheap, and there are absolutely no restrictions for buying if you are a foreigner. It does not come with a residence permit, but with most passports you are entitled to 180 days per year at 90 day intervals visa free anyway, and for someone applying the trifecta method this is all according to the plan. And of course, if you do not hold a residence permit, you pay no taxes on foreign sourced income. If we are talking about safe places, it is clear that Japan is the absolutely number 1 in the world when it comes to safety, in any regard. You of course are an outspoken city-dweller, but there are also us who prefer peace and quiet away from metropolises.

Although many of these countries have low tax rates, you still have to file and pay US taxes as long as you are a US citizen and would be paying taxes in 2 countries?

Basically the places that you’re saying to live are either almost 100% white and or there’s a lot of money which you can find in the United States. Remember the investor class does pay 50% of the taxes thatba blue-collar high income maker. I’m in to six figures owning a business (blue-collar business) and I pay a lot more than my friends who work on Wall Street and considered investors.

Question - with the crime statistics in the US being highly distorted by a few large cities (Chicago, New Orleans, Houston, Detroit, St Louis, etc) to make the US look more dangerous overall, how can we be sure that we don't end up moving to a country where on paper they look safe but then we land in or near a high crime area?
Example - St Louis has a murder and manslaughter rate of 66 people per 100,000 while the US in it's entirety has only 5 per 100,000. There are around 25 cities with crime rates higher than the overall average and I wager that even in St Louis that the majority of their very high crime rates are centered in a few pockets of the city.

In my experience, crime goes up with the tax rate and with socialist collectivist ideals. When people keep what they earn so they aren't under financial pressure and are able to live unmolested by the government they tend to respect the rights of the individual more and that means less crime.

Stateless? Poor people! Taxation can create a class of folk who at least feel poverty stricken, humiliated, and living in an oppressive regime. About all they can do as rootless nomads is pick through the rubble of NYC for something, anything, to just hold onto. Helpless souls with their New Jersey car plates, Hawaiians who have to leave it all behind, a Floridan trying to cope, some Puerto Rico people, a Taxes plate or two with cattle horns and themselves wearing spurs, Nevada gizmo's singing "I'm just a gambling man," and probably an Arizona couple or two. Crunched and ruined people with hope that a day ahead is one of change. Oh, gosh, why don't they just stroll the streets as beggars tossing some cardboard boxes into the carts as passive income, prematurely all sitting in a tax conspirator's manufactured dip?
