Everywhere I go I check the price of pignoli hoping this will be the place they aren’t crazy expensive. I’m still looking. Doesn’t stop me from making these cookies though. Literally my favorite. Great birthday gift and great video!
I love this recipe. I made some last week. When I was a little girl my Italian family used to buy these at the Italian bakery. Now I make them and the family loves them. Thank you so much for teaching me how. God bless you and Merry Christmas. Sweet husband!
You are adorable! I can’t believe I have never seen your videos before. I had my first pig oil cookie today and fell in love. I immediately began googling recipes and found you. You are so much fun to watch. Thank you for your wonderful videos. They make me smile! 😘
It’s been so long since I’ve seen you post a video and here it is Christmas Eve 2021 and of course I’m making the pignoli cookies from your video recipe! Please let us know that you’re OK since we haven’t heard from you in such a long time and if you’re going to be posting any future videos. I would love to be able to make the wheat pie that we Italians eat at Easter time and I’d love to see your recipe if you have one but more importantly let us know how you are. Have a blessed and merry Christmas and a happy new year!
Love your Video Love these Cookies!! They Are My Favorite!!God~Bless You Husband and your Precious Family. Have A Blessed Thanksgiving!! Luv N Hugs, Brenn Santoianni

Hi Mama! Just found your channel and watched all your cooking videos. Your pignoli cookies are divine! I followed the recipe and my cookies were chewy and perfect. I'd love a video on crescia bread, if you ever make it. Thanks!
Oh Mama.....one of my favorites too 👏👏👏 Yes...the Pignoli nuts are expensive 😳but so worth it. I am in love with Almond paste...the smell and the taste ❤️ Making these for Christmas. Hugs, Dolores.....The Baking Diva 😘
This is exactly how I make mine. Sometimes I'll add a little splash of almond extract just to ramp up the flavor a bit. They are super delicious. I'll make a big batch and freeze half. If you zip them up real good in a ziplock bag and squeeze out all the air, they come out and defrost just as if they were fresh.
I'm sorry you didn't like them! Thanks for trying and for the feedback. It is a dense cookie but my family likes it that way! We hope you have a great holiday season.
I was looking forward to seeing this recipe, until I saw the Korean/ Chinese/Siberian pine nuts. What a disappointment! For traditional Italian cookies, nothing less than genuine Mediterranean Pignoli - from Italy, from Spain, or from Lebanon. Pine nuts from the Far East are garbage.
This recipe is the absolute best I've ever made and had.
Italian bakeries don't even come close. Your the best Italian Mama
thanks mama! you are the only one who thinks I need to know how much of each ingredient goes in! Happy bday pappi!
THANKS for making this SIMPLE recepie. Einstein likes you because He said that "Everything should be made as simple as possible, but no simpler"
It I only knew this, I would have been making these for years. They are one of my favorites. I also love linzer tarts. Thank you
Wow I never knew it was that easy to make these. Hopefully I can find pine nuts. I always loved these cookies

Thanks! We hope you are doing well! It was nice hearing about your daughter's story -- when she talks, her mannerisms are so similar to you :)
The Baking Diva what is the oven temperature 300?
We need the oven temperature 🤔 Thank you 😍
I love her New York accent!
What accent?
My husband sent me this to make for him, so today I will make them. Thanks for the recipe. You got a new subscriber
I know it’s probably sacrilege but could use a different nut, like almonds or pecans?
Where have you been? We miss your recipes!
Can you make the dough the day before
Do you have to toast the pine nuts first or is the oven enough? I haven't used them in a while and messed up my pesto last week
The oven is definitely enough.
Thankyou mama i Will make this today😁
What temp to bake?
God Bless This beautiful woman ❤❤
"They are always good" lmao she's too funny
Thanks!
These look so so good! Did Andie get to try one?
No cookies for Andie...Although she did get plenty of other special treats that day :)
Can I use a electric mixer?
Just got the almond paste.
Yes, never see the pine nuts on the bottom.
They look delicious!
Ending of this video when her husband joins is absolutely beautiful & priceless.
It’s 2019 just wondering where you’ve been and if your alright?
Sorry for delayed response! Italian MaMa is doing well! We plan to still do some videos in the future!!
Italian MaMa Glad to here all is well. Will be looking forward to your videos!
how much flour do you sprinkle on top of the almond paste
@@bettyrich8022 No flour is in this recipe, that was 1 cup of sugar she used. Play back the video, she gives measurements as she goes.
You are adorable ❤

can I frezze pignoli cookies dough?
I've never done it but my family has frozen the almond paste before... and used it within a few months.
This is the same wonderful recipe my mother used. Music is to Loud
My almond paste is in a tube, does it matter?
Tube, can, or box... as long as it says Almond Paste, you're in business! Happy Baking!
woohooo
Awesome Yummy 😋💋
Where has she been? 😞
No powder sugar 😢
You dont think its better to cream the almond paste first?
You would think… but I don’t think it does
$40.00 lb in a NJ bakery.
Understand the pine nuts are expensive but....
So... Catalan panellets
Pinoli
You are so cute!
Followed directions exactly . Came out horrible. Too chewy too sweet . Stuck to my teeth . If u like pignoli gum consistancy this recipe is for u
I'm sorry you didn't like them! Thanks for trying and for the feedback. It is a dense cookie but my family likes it that way! We hope you have a great holiday season.
Oh my good that music. Couldn’t listen.
