Alfred you're the King of RIBs. I didn't know anything about them until I began watching your channel a year ago. I now have a greater appreciation for the work involved in restoration and how they're built. Thank you and to Alamar Boat Solutions in Hialeah Florida for insight and education of the hard work involved in RIB restoration.
Wow you left it nuevecito. Great job. Oye I thought I would come to Miami and enjoy some warmth. I got here Wednesday and it’s been cool and crappy. Just my luck after the Texas snow. Geeee
Nicely done, thanks for the video. I have a 1997 Rendova 14 foot with original hypolan tubes which are in relatively good shape. There are however a few spots and the rear and along the front edges where the rub rail is coming loose. While ripping the rub rail, sanding and reapplying would be ideal, can I simply sand and reglue the parts that are coming undone? What type of adhesive do you recommend, Orca Hypalon glue is expensive and I only need a small amount, can I get away with using Clifton?
Great job guys. What type of glue did you use? I have a 20+ years old 13-foot Avon with small sections that came loose. I don't know that I would tear the whole thing off but hope to dress it up.
Awesome job, I noticed ur wife’s car in the background and ur expedition, by the way how long have u had that expedition??? Does ur wife do ur guys books and all that?! Like all the office work? And I can’t wait to see more videos like this one bub, I’ve been jonesing for some restorations and what’s up with the restorations that u have going on in ur back yard?!
The only thing missing from this vid was how much adhesive you need. I can only find 8 oz cans of this stuff and I am hoping it will be enough for a 10.1 rubrail refit.
Hey dude, I’ve been watching your page and learning a lot from it. I currently have a pvc type tube and I’m trying to attached it to its fiber glass hull. But I need a new pvc fabrics and I can’t seem to find a place where to buy them. Do you have any recommendations where to buy at least 30ft by 8inches of pvc fabric? All I find is patches online and they’re seems to be so expensive. Thank you Appreciate it!
I’ve been following your channel.👍nice job. I’m looking for a used rib tube for a 15 ft fiberglass hull. As long as it still holds air, it is good. I’m having a project. If can help me with this. Just PM me.thank you very much.
yeah, i went to that place and they want to charge me $4000 for a 42 rubrail replacement on a 19 foot boat, they went ahead and offer me a new tube for $9000 dude this tube is 2 years old, those people on that shop are money hungry

Get a tripod want to see you getting your hands dirty
what’s the shops phone number
and address
I'd clean it after I told him to clean out his locker.
No one wants to work anymore
He probably should have called first
