Sadly they are produced in such small numbers, unless someone who owned one could lend it to me, I have no other way of getting one for review. Cheers for the comment!
It's a bit of a mashup between the Series 2000/3000/ Series 2 models and the pickups have been revoiced so....hard to say without having one for review!!! Thanks for the comment!
Probably built around Status's version of the old Steinberger, sounds as good as any status I've heard. still Like my series II bought back in 1989 at A1 MUSIC in Manchester. Keep grooving Brooksy.
You'd need to ask Rob Green at Status that question. I guess it owes a notable tip of the hat to the Steinberger basses of the 80s but also maybe it was aimed at addressing the needs of travelling musicians as it is possible to carry it as hand luggage with some airlines. And the reduced bodyweight is a plus as well.

Excellent work Mike - I really like these little basses and, personally, prefer the 32" scale version too :)
Cheers Barrie, glad you enjoyed the video!
Very good videos as usual Mike
👊🏿♥️
Thank you, my man. Glad you enjoy them!
One of those basses that I have been serious about that sounded very different than what I imagined.
Cheers for the comment. Bear in mind this is a medium scale version, not the 34-inch scale which will affect the tone and clarity a little. Cheers!
Would love to see/hear a Status Charger demo!

@@BrooksysBassCorner - a shame. I've never heard what they're fully capable of other than thumping out Quo riffs (which still sound ace!).

Great playing bro.
Thank you, sir! Hope you enjoyed the video!

Right on! Cheers for the comment!
For such a small bodied bass it's got some real fundamental lows
Thanks for the comment. That's Status basses for you. I have several and they all share that characteristic. Cheers!
Great playing. The bass doesn't do it for me but thanks for the listen. Looking forward to more.
Thank you. I hope you enjoy other videos on the channel!
Would like to hear 5 string version
Sadly, I don't own a 5-string version but if I can source one and do a review video, I will.
This video features the 5-string version: th-cam.com/video/7Cj4p-tkeM4/w-d-xo.html
What inspired the design?
