Remember it's called Golf industry. Factories need to stay open, profits need to stay high and these companies know we are not buying a brand new set of clubs every year.
Very same thing applies to every major manufacturer out there, these aren't wildly above and beyond market averages. Just the way the industry is trending whether we like it or not.

A lot of Ping staff players on tour have switched to the "S" version, more so than the killer looking T. Some of those guys were still using s55's! These blueprint s irons are based on the s55 from what I've read.
When I saw the Ping Blueprints I had to have a set. They reminded me of my 1st legit set of irons, the S59's. I got fitted for a split set of T and S's and i am loving the game of golf again. You just know the number they are going to hit. You want more you give them more and they reward you for it. So pure and the T's are so workable and long in my opinion. I left the 4 iron out not knowing if I would need more help in that long iron range. after testing the 5 iron, I put in my order for the 4 iron right away. That little pocket they put in the 5 and 4 really does do something in the way of forgiveness. I have all those good feelings again and look forward to the 2024 golf season. Thank you Ping! and yes I am fine paying the price for greatness. I sold a set of P790's and my set of the last AP2's ever made for these Blueprints. Very glad I did. keep up the good work James, i love your content daily sir.
Great review. I enjoy your enthusiasm when you are doing these reviews. Unfortunately, the state of my game is such where such an expense would not really be in the cards at this time. Nor would I do them justice.
Just bought my 17yo son a set of the Blueprint s with Dynamic Gold 120s shafts. He works at a CC so he gets a discount and the cost was $987.15 plus tax and a 3% surcharge for a total of $1097.72. Lets you know how much mark up there is in the clubs. He hits them extremely well, he needed more height and spin so these were perfect for him.
Waiting for mine! They’re currently somewhere on their way from UK to here. Coming from the Apex Pro these felt spectacular and oddly enough, even more forgiving while not struck dead center. Gained 10 meters and a tighter dispersion. Had the shop at one of my clubs order to custom specs. Ca €1420 (4-PW). I can live with that. 😅
Dude I sniped a mint Muira TC-201 set off eBay in October for $1250 from a guy in Palm Beach FL got them in one day and they are $330/iron new feel like nothing else
I’d like to give these a try, but not sure I’m going to see a lot of difference from my 6 year old i210’s (which Hovland is still playing). Thank you for another great review.👍🏻

I'm still using i200s from 7 years ago. Love them, but I've improved from a 8 to a 2 handicap and think I'm a good enough ball striker now to try out the Blueprint S. Might still blend with my i200s
My 716 AP2s had been in the bag since 2016. Leave the 3 iron out of your order (like 10 pros play a 3 iron who do you think you are? 😂😂 You should already have a hybrid/5-4wood/rescue in the bag) and buy 4-PW. If you get fit for them, and will keep them in the bag 5+ years, price gets more justifiable 🤷♂️
Both cost the same - I like the S model as well. However, the high price makes me look at other clubs. Would be interesting to see a comparison of numbers versus other clubs using 20 shots each from the pitching wedge, 7 iron and 5 iron.
Recently tested the Blueprint S and T, they were real contenders to make it in the bag but in the end I couldn't get past on how good the Miura's felt so went with them. Would love to see some Miura testing James.
While you’re trying the 0317 T, be sure to try the 0317 CB! I felt the CB had a better feel than the T. Also, I thought the Blueprint S felt even better than the PXGs. You may come to a different conclusion. I just felt you’d like to know from someone who already tried them
@@Garysalunatic Thanks! I’m actually trying the T’s because of a great experience also with the CB’s last year (literally the day of an injury that knocked me out for the season). The T’s came out after that. So I’m looking forward to both!

Love the looks of all of them
Would someone care to answer a question about Ping in general? Why do their irons have the kerf cut into the hosel? Is it just relief for club adjustment or is it something else?
I heard for two reasons, most of their irons are cast so that notch makes it easier to adjust loft and lie, also loses a bit of weight in the hosel side to move cg closer to the center
I'm big ping fan for their forgiveness and performance but the feel was always a little too firm for me, specially my Glide 3 wedges. They're in the bag only for forgiveness otherwise I would've gone with full forged
These are irons for very low handicap players and professionals. The new G730 irons will suit high handicappers and the yet to be released i530’s low to mid handicappers.
I'm one of the old school Ping fans. I grew up with the Eye 2, Zing, Zing 2 and then the ISI models (couldn't afford them back then, finally got a set of ISI irons second hand last year and freshened them up 😀) . I've always been of the view that there are irons and then there are Ping irons. I've no doubt that the modern irons have all the tech and perform amazingly, they look really good, but for me they're not Ping irons. Just my opinion 😁.
I didn’t think I had the game for them but after trying them WOW plus I only play 7-PW so I can handle the price and I think any 15 or less HC can definitely play these in the shorter irons
@@andybt3989 it is there to help when a professional needs to bend the iron to adjust the loft or lie... personally it does not bother me.. but can understand how it may bother someone else.
