Mazda Protege Fuel Injector Replacement Guide

Make/Model: Mazda Protege
Year: 2000 (Generation 8, 1998-2003)
Engine: 1.8L Inline 4 FP-DE
Fuel injectors provide the proper amounts of gas to the engine during the combustion process. Faulty injectors could cause stuttering or shaking of the engine, poor driving performance or fuel economy, and even cause a misfire CEL. In this video we replace them with new ones. - 2x AUS MP10494 Brown Fuel Injectors (amzn.to/3QHqUfj)
- Poor mans lubricant (clean engine oil - amzn.to/3G1ZXOH)
Tools Used:
- Ratchet Wrench with 10-22mm sockets (amzn.to/2lAzdyS)
- Plastic Pry Tool Set (amzn.to/2k5OUxA)
- 12" Phillips Screwdriver (amzn.to/3stbeoa)
- Sprite Can (amzn.to/3QF8EDA)
- Gloves (optional)

Is it better to replace all 4 or the one that misfired on

In a pinch you could just fix the one with the misfire but if you are doing all the work to get in there, may just be worth changing them all.
