Idk, i would love to have the raptor x but the enhaced dynamic range workflow and quality needs some work imo. For now it is just and updated hdrx like on older reds... idk ... and i would love to have the switchable mounts like back in the day i do not wat to stack adapters, and i do not want to restrict my self to lens mounts. Zcam, kinefinity and dji get it i think. I simply have zero use for the rf mount. I will never buy rf glass, i have pl and e mount thats it. But it is great i get the hype and if i had the money idk maybe i would get it

Trust me I love the film game , no matter what level you’re at . BUT COME ON . YALL PEOPLE HAVE TO FIND LOYALTY . YOU EITHER RED / SONY / CANON ..etc . All the switching is weak . At least your A CAM SHOULD STAY THE SAME BRAND . TO ME SWITCHING UP , SHOWS ME YOUR NOT IN IT TO GET BETTER AND MASTER A SYSTEM . YOUR LOOKING FOR WHO CAN MAKE THE JOB EASIER .
Maybe but not always. for me personally I have tried Black Magic, Fuji, Canon, Sony, Leica, & Red. I've stuck with Leica and RED as the cameras that bring me the most joy. I use canon for Work cause it's great for that but I would happily jump ship to Sony for better AF, smaller bodies, wider lens choice, better DR all for cheaper. It makes no sense to be blindly loyal to Canon in this regard. Me making the switch isn't me saying I don't want to become better, it's quite the opposite. @@jaybuckets2153

That compressed RAW patent thing by RED is still somewhat a jail tho for us and as I love RED, that issue still stings

Red is a second tier camera in Hollywood. We only use Arri or Venice.

I do wish every camera had that feature but with 8K you could frame around it and crop in post.
