My daycare charged so much and it's not even as creative as this one. I really like what she did, it's cute and fun.
Don’t even know how I got to this video, but glad I did. I know they may be expensive but I highly suggest getting some video cameras around the house for YOUR safety and the children. My childhood babysitter had to go through a long court battle with this lady who claimed she bit her child.. turns out the mother was biting her own child for a big lawsuit.

I agree, my kids home based daycare has cameras and it was one thing I looked for when searching... as we all know working with animals or kids are not for the faint hearted 😅

Maddam, even some schools and headstarts are not like yours. Listening to you and seeing how you hand craft everything, you literally were born for this and can tell this is what you want to do out of your heart. I was working within a school and it is irritating how some teachers/caregivers are not there for the children.. You inspire me to take a leap into running an at home daycare; help make a difference in the community and in the children's lives.
Ash I worked at a daycare and preschool and it looked like garbage compared to this
Schools are headstarts are a different curriculum. It seems like she followed the creative curriculum. It is probably the best to model after.
There’s a few differences between a school and a daycare. First teachers typically make far less money than someone running a day care. 2nd there is three times as many students in a classroom than typically in a daycare (she has 6) even kinder classes have close to 20. 3rd there is required standards that need to be taught in schools which at times cut into the more creative aspect of learning (sadly). 4th teachers set up and take down their classroom yearly for free and it’s a process that takes hours even days this is all while planning lessons and other things. 5th teachers have to complete a minimum of 4 years of colleges, state testing, and yearly classes.

I used to work in childcare, and not even my classroom was as equipped as your house. As a mother of two too, like many others would feel so comfortable with my children in your home. AMAZING!

I am in absolute awe of your level of organization. I cannot imagine the amount of work you have put into running your home daycare. Most people I know that run one are doing it for an extra income, but I think you’re doing it because you’re passionate about children and you see it as a career/calling. I am a teacher and I’ve never seen anyone outside of the classroom to be this dedicated.
Yes! This is complete passion right here. I can’t imagine watching after 8 kids at once! I have a hard time watching after 2.

First impressions are so important and if I saw this as a client I would be so impressed and have more piece of mind having someone else watch my child. The amount of effort/organization you put into your home daycare is amazing! Loved your tour!

I’m about to graduate high school, and my early childhood teacher plays videos like this in class sometimes to show us proper setups and such. Your setup is wonderful! I’m 17, but I’d enroll here! Let me play 😂

Seriously!! I never find anything good like this. My MIL finds all kinds of awesome stuff at good wills and yard sales as well.
As a master thrifter myself, I will say you have to go every single week (sometimes more often) to find the good stuff. It disappears fast once it's there!
The best thrift shops are in upscale neighborhoods... you’ll find lots of treasures for cheap 😉
Her house is huge and looks “upscale” so yeah I definitely think she lives in a good neighborhood which means better quality items being donated at good will!

I am an Registered Early childhood educator and watching this gave me so much inspiration! Your setup is gorgeous. You seem very orangized. I love that you switch out toys and give the children different learning materials! If I was a child again I would LOVE your play space😂 Keep up the great work and thank you for all that you do for children. Caregivers are so unappreciated. So just so you know. I appreciate you! 😊

This is really great! I'm an assistant at a daycare and the teachers make the kids play with the same thing every day. And 95% of the things in the room, they dont let the kids play with
I'm a new mom again (after 10 years),have 2 stepdaughters & you are really inspiring me to get organized! I also wish there were people where we lived that did safe in home daycare like you do! I can tell you genuinely care about the environment of the children & that's very important! I may not live where you do but thank you for being an inspiration.
Your house is decked out! Those kids are probably having a blast every time they come over. You're doing a seriously awesome job!
I'm sure they will! After all, kids should perceive daycares as heaven to them rather than kiddie versions of prisons! That way, the kids will be happily ensured that they'll easily come off as anything but entitled!

This is so much nicer than the daycare I work at! We have 14 children and barely have a fraction of that much space or toys to play with. The children get bored of playing with the same things all day or not having enough space to play. You have created a dream daycare and it’s beautiful. I would definitely like to run my own daycare with this much love and effort in it.

I spent $130 on the washer and dryer for my kids but it was worth it for the quality
My son is 1 years old. And I literally told myself I would never put him in daycare. My spare room is dedicated to him. All his learning and play stuff is in it. I have to say as a mom I’m in awe of you. You actually care about these kids. I can tell it’s not just about the money! Keep it up !

I am going through baby fever right now so I am going through parenting tips and stories even though I am a teenager.
Wish I could be a kid again so I could play and visit your home daycare.
The only suggestion I have is to install cameras in every room, clean out the toy room and watch the kids from inside the room. Also, that way you could waych the kids at the same time unkess you do rotationd. But it's also pricey and it's not really true adult supervision.
As a 17 year old kid, I would have the most fun being in this house 😂 this is a childhood dream !!!

I’ve worked at 4 different daycares and yours is so much more thought out than them. You really seem to care about how much fun the kids have!! Daycares I’ve worked at (Goddard for example) only care about the money. It’s so refreshing to see someone who makes the environment something the kids will genuinely love

It’s beautiful! I love that you switch it up frequently! Especially when you have the same kids for a lengthy time, I’m sure they’d get bored playing with the same things over and over! I can tell you really care about your little ones and I’m sure they enjoy their time with you very much! I’m not in the daycare business and my kids have long since grown up, but this popped up in my recommended videos and I watched the whole thing! 😂

Wow I'm impressed, I have a family member who watches kids (mainly other family members) in a living room with only daylight never any lights on and no activities, they watch TV and play with a couple toys. Kids really need a bright welcoming area, they are spending many hours a day there after all.

It's so hard as a working parent finding someone to take care of and love your children like you would be doing if you were home! Your home is so very organized and you can tell you have a passion for what you do! It's a shame more child care in my area isn't run exactly like yours, I would feel so comfortable & confident leaving my little girls with you! God bless you for all you do for those lucky kiddos!!

Omg only 5’minutes into the video and I am just in shock and awe. I worked for a corporate daycare for 11 years, I figured I’d be a stay at home mom or take my child to that same daycare. I ended up getting a new job with better pay but daycare was still so expensive. I exhausted all daycares for one whole week I visited so many. The one home daycare o went to was nothing like this, had I seen this and not to mention your calming voice I would totally chose your daycare!!! I have subscribed.
Ps I always wanted to have my own daycare and have always been encouraged to do so, just never have the time or money nor the space!!

My god you seem so sweet & genuinely like you love these kids! This is exactly who id want my kids to be in the care of. I have a hard time trusting babysitters because of all the things I’ve seen online and on the news, this brings a new light to things for sure. Wish you live near me! You clearly are devoted to the children you care for. I've never seen such a lovely daycare. You are creative and great at finding bargains. Your place is spotless as well. I've seen some places that were not very clean.
I'm a newly registered Childminder in the UK (so home daycare) and I currently look after the children in my little dining room/living room, this is SO inspiring for me! I absolutely love all your wonderful resources, I can't wait to expand and have my own little playroom!

Hey nice tour, I’m a childcare provider in Canada, I’d be interested in knowing your cleaning routine to keep those vintage fabric intact! We’re required here to sanitize soft surfaces weekly, and I find the fabrics fall apart
