Those kids are so very blessed to have you providing such loving & consistsnt care. ❤
Thank you! That means a lot ♥️
Really cool to see what actually goes on at home daycares. Thanks for making and sharing this!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Oh my heart ❤️ 🥹 hearing those little voices pray and then sing … I would love to do something like this but I have three of my own and I don’t think I’m nearly close to being anywhere as close to organised as I should be for something like this
All we have is time. All you need to do is make a plan and goal and take small strides towards your goal each day. A little adds to a lot over time xoxo
A beautiful documentation of a day in our lives 🤩
Thank you so much!
Thank you. I have been interested in starting a home daycare after retirement. You gave very good advice in your other video. I am happy to see how your average day goes. Again thanks.
awesome- I'm glad you were able to gain some insight. Not only is this a lucrative business where you can comfortably sustain yourself, but as a retiree, you get to enjoy being retired :)
@@MyDaycareCoach I’m doing my research on it. Thanks
@@Luvginger32 whenever you are ready to move forward, I am available to provide coaching on how to operate a successful business. Feel free to reach out.

Thank you for this video ❤
You are so welcome!
And here I am thinking cause I get a late start 9am that I have to close late 9pm....NOPE....lol! This just motivated me to change my hours 💯
Yes, girl! Change those hours to benefit a more conducive day.
@@MyDaycareCoach Thank you for saying that, I have been struggling....my days are so long!
Could you give me some tips on how to go about telling the parents I am changing my hours? I plan on letting them know this weekend!
@@kw3036 I would provide parents with at least a four week notice, especially if you are aware of possible schedule conflicts.
I love this
Thank you 😊
Love you 😘 well done
Also each daycare center and provider is different keep in mind that she's operating out of her home so home and daycare centers are two completely different regulations.
More DITL please❤
Yes ma'am ! haha
Miss lady i wish i was a child again because your daycare is so fire! Lol
Awww, thank you so much! Daycare should be a fun experience and that’s the overall vibe I try to create for the children.
Great video! You can’t tell my kid a quesadilla isn’t a cheese taco. Taco Tuesday is on point.
Hahaha thank you. Tacos, quesadillas, nachos, we love them all.
It is my very first time coming across your channel. Thank you so much for sharing what a typical day looks like. I do have a question!.
:Who is your main clientele? Are they single moms, moms who just want some extra learning and fun activity for their kids. . . Parents who need a day off, etc. I have been researching lots about day cares and have seen that almost every single one of them start at 6.am. and close at 6.p.m, due to parents working long hours. I was surprised to see you started at 8 and ended the day at 5. I didn't really see that as an option because I did not think it to be possible. . .
Thank you for watching and that's a great question. My main clientele is the average working family. 8:00am-5:00pm works great for my family as a home daycare provider because the burnout can be real. To avoid that, I curated my hours of operation to reflect personal time with my family which is super important to me! I think as you open a home daycare business, you figure out what works for the families you serve and adjust accordingly :)
Awesome setup! Question, do you take the children on field trips to get out of the house?
Yes! We have festive field trips and learning field trips.
I loved the video. May I ask why they wear the green socks and what policy you have on this?
Hi, we wear the green socks as a sanitary compliance being that we are a shoe-free center.
Wonderful daycare. I’m a daycare provider in Canada. Do the children go outside at all throughout the day?
Thank you! Yes, we go outside everyday, weather permitting.
Where do you get your lesson plans and activities ideals from ?
I create my lesson plans based on my enrolled children- this helps make it more fun and concepts easier to grasp because they have a genuine interest for them.
What app do you use to talk with parents and what apps do you use to manage your business?
Hi, I use Brightwheel.
New sub❤
Thanks for subbing
Great videos! How many kids are u licensed for?
We are able to have a maximum capacity of 8 children.
@@MyDaycareCoach thank you so much for your quick response. That’s fantastic!!!!! I’ve been binge watching your channel and you are definitely the one to follow. Please continue to share your journey, I am certainly taking notes. Blessings!
Hi Do you need to be a licensed teacher to open up a home day care? How do get a program what to teach children based on their age? Im a licensed nurse but no longer practicing..im currently in the corporate world but is contemplating opening up a home day care so i can stay at home with my kids and at the same time earn a living and do my own business though im here in the philippines..however, there's not much of information here as home day cares are not common here but there is growing market of working parents seeking trustworthy care givers who can take care of their kids so they can work.
You do not need to be a certified teacher to open a daycare; based on your state/ province, there are various requirements. There are numerous curriculum options to choose from that have lesson plans you can follow or create :)
Thats good to know though I have to do my own research and probaby coordinate with various government agencies in my area to get the appropriate licensing and trainings..thanks so much for your reply 😊
@@kristineannnieva6 your are very welcome. If you have any other questions, please reach out. Good luck.
would you recommend becoming a daycare owner, if so, why?
It’s less of becoming a daycare owner and more of a quality provider for children…you have to not only be dedicated and committed but your energy has to match with the children or it’ll feel like a very stressful job. And I wouldn’t recommend staying at a stressful job lol. If you love kids and are willing to continuously educate yourself on them, it’s amazing.
Are blankets allowed for nap ?
You will have to check regulations for each state/province. But here, children who are older than one years old are able to have a blanket.
What state are located?
@@garc9045 Maryland 💫
@@MyDaycareCoachI'm from Maryland and I applaud your video and thank you so much for being nurturing and kind to children.
Hi, which country and province are you in?
THanks.
I’m in the USA.
Can you please share the name of the app?
What app?
The app that allows parents to message you and let you know when kids aren't coming due to them being sick or whatever.
@@Foleytwin we use Brightwheel. But they also have other ones equally as user friendly such as HiMama, Tadpoles, etc.
@MyDaycareCoach wow I didn't think you would respond, thank you.. Do you know the zoning for residence childcare centers..if you own a home can you automatically have a home childcare center??
@@Foleytwin you’re very welcome. each state or province is different so you would have to check with you local municipality.
How do home daycare get paid from the government?
You don’t get paid from the government. However, if a family you serve receives childcare assistance (scholarships/vouchers), that may cover a portion or all of tuition. Then the State will cover that child’s tuition or portion and pay that to you as the provider.
As long as no child is getting abused its always great and i pray this is the case here. Me personally i would never be wearing headphones cleaning while kids are in a seperate room with no supervision not every kid has the same personality, we dont know what goes on at home so i just would never risk it by wearing earphones.
First, let me correct you on all your assumptions because not only are they incorrect, offensive and untrue but it’s almost as if you didn’t even watch the video. Please watch it again and feel free to edit your comment.
All children are supervised and in eye sight at ALL times (on camera and off camera).
@@MyDaycareCoach I really don't care what's offensive to you, my main concern is that the children are watched over and supervised. So if I'm hearing you correctly were you cleaning with chemicals near the children so you could see them "off camera" it's confusing because the whole time you were cleaning listening to music I didn't see you one time check on the or look at any tablet/camera to check on them 🤔 it's no reason to take offense especially if your confident the kids are watched over but I guess I hit a nerve. This video is for (show) my apologies.
Thanks for your feedback and for watching.
What’s wrong with you, my goodness
But how do you know that she was actually listening to it. I agree with the original poster you did not watch a video completely you just made assumptions if you watch the video thoroughly, you can see that she's attentive to the children! As for you as a complete stranger to write that you don't care if it's offensive I actually do care it comes offensive and very ignorant 🙄
What do you call the aesthetic of your wallpaper? I want it for my phone. 🫶
Our walls are light gray, were you talking about something else?
^ phone screen wallpaper and the aesthetic is minimalist line art add the word woman to it and you’ll find similar screen wallpapers
How much do you charge for child per day
@@babarahmed8129 I charge per week based on full time hours
@@Nikki-ks6wi yessss, thank you for the help! I literally googled your description and found that picture.
