    Lifesaver! Thank you soooooo much. Our instructions were in another language. 10 year old and I got the gazebo up easily, not one cross word 🙂.

    what a fantastic video and what a presenter too. Bought the Colman to go over our pool in the garden whilst work was bing done.
    I had a basic idea but was flummoxed by the initial construct so thanks SNOWY and youtube for the Australian beach video.

    Haha pole guide ? So that’s what it is. Searched the net for a video to show how to put up the Event as let my daughter and partner use ours for the long weekend. I can brag to the hubby now about the pole guide. Suppose if he kept the manual, we’d know lol. Thanks for your helpful video.

    I have two of these. 3m x 3m and 3.65m x 3.65m. I'm well pleased with them. But here in England we jump for joy if we see the sun. They are normally used as rain shelters. Sun wall = wind shelter.

      Do they work well in heavyish rain or wind?

  • @barbara_corcoran6150

    i wanted something like this for a picnic, we live in a place that has irregular weather patterns and sometimes having a fire for cooking would spell disaster when a sudden burst of rain comes through the picnic site. I was wondering is this would work with a fire going inside it, would the hot air make it float or are there just about enough seams for the smoke and hot air to pass through without taking the canopy away with it? any idea?

    • @SnowysOutdoors
      @SnowysOutdoors  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It wont float @Barbara_Corcoran, but it will damage the fly through heat. Ash and embers in the air will also readily burn holes through it as well. We strongly recommend you don't have a fire inside a shelter where possible.

    separate poles and they call it fastpitch? its basically the opposite.

    • @SnowysOutdoors
      @SnowysOutdoors  ปีที่แล้ว

      I may be mistaken, but I don't think Coleman claim this to be a fast-pitch frame. ~ Ben

    Looks like too much effort 😅
    Thought these looked good but seems there is a fair bit more to setting it up compared to your usual 3x3m gazebo

    • @SnowysOutdoors
      @SnowysOutdoors  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      They do require a little more effort for set up, Brad, but they do provide much more shade. I guess as with most things, there's always a trade off.

    Way to much to this tent. I have an accordion tent that's 12' x 12' and it takes 3 minutes and it's up. cost $89 on sale.

    • @SnowysOutdoors
      @SnowysOutdoors  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, it's not the most straight forward shelter, Johnny, it certainly won't suit everyone. ~ Ben

  • @ibsn87
    @ibsn87 ปีที่แล้ว

    This looks like a total nightmare. When will tent designers focus on pop up/ collapsing designs. No reason this couldn’t be 3m long folded up but be 100x easier to setup... Would fit neatly on a roofrack.

    • @SnowysOutdoors
      @SnowysOutdoors  ปีที่แล้ว

      There's loads of "pop up" style and inflatable shelter options on the market already @Jack. These particular shelters are extremely popular, I guess it just depends on what a persons after.
