I could listen to this chick teach me stuff alll dang day! I love listening to and hearing/being instructed by people who passionately and confidently know their sh*t, can perfectly convey everything you need to know quickly but not robotically. 💜 Thanks!
Finally, a video that is practical and shows exactly how to do it close up. Also single female doing it on her own. Amazing thank you well done! All the other Oztrail videos - just blah blah blah about the product and not how to a erect it which is not that easy if you do not have instructions showing you.
Hi Lauren. I’m a big fan of the Oztrail Deluxe Gazebo range. While there’s nothing wrong with hooking the tensioning straps to the frame like you did, Oztrail improved the design of the plastic knuckles when they developed the latest Deluxe version, incorporating a slot in the bottom to receive the plastic hook. It’s just an interesting upgrade they made that looks slightly neater when set up. Check it out next time you’re standing under one.
Thanks @Mickmike Mick, you are absolutely right! Hydroflow gazebos, which are the current model dont have this feature though, but the original ones do. We missed that in the video but really appreciate you raising it. ~ Lauren
I was planning to purchase a Gazebo but was bit concerned about the setup and pack away in beaches. Thanks a million for this video and definitely i will get getting mine OZtrail this week.
@ 6:09 I always hook up the plastic clip at the bottom of the plastic joint which as nice insert fit for the clip, will stay straight and won't move up or down, etc, just little tip but I may worng, lol
Peg one leg first, then pull diagonal leg straight out. Much easier, do it that way myself & I am a 63 year old Nanna 😂 The canopy hooks do not go on the metal frame, they hook into a slot under the plastic knuckle junction.
@Magic Mechanic, the commercial gazebos come with a white canopy, made from heavy duty material, and they will also have "hydroflow" arms it the corner to help keep the canopy taught and make any rain roll off. ~ Lauren
As you mentioned the pocket, I'm assuming you are talking about the canopy material @QuixoticLfe? I'd suggest folding it in a long strip that's the same width as the pocket length, and then folding in up into a skinny sausage from there. Might take a few goes, but if you can spread in out somewhere on flat ground first it will make it easier. ~ Lauren

Thanks Jem, I've got the feels now!

top demo - 'trying conditions', one person operation and taking it down and packing away
There was a few choice words at the end of filming that day - the wind just got worse & worse

You're not wrong! Not all models come with that feature, so its good to do if your gazebo has the slot.
~ Lauren
Thank you. I was trying to find out if one person could do it. Not sure about the strength part pushing up the first leg but worth a try.
I'm glad you found the video useful. ~ Ben
Amazing set up guide and how stunning is the lady.
Thanks for that!
~ Lauren
Very well done!
Thanks!
~ Lauren
Great video now I will see if I can set it up as effortlessly 😅
I'm sure you'll do awesome Shelley!
~ Lauren

9:30 that brolly in the bottom right corner just took off. They should watch this video
Hehe, wonder is that ended up in the drink. ~ Ben

Some models don't have that slot in the knuckles.
THANKSSSSS!!!!!
No worries!

It's better if they have a vent in the top to prevent pressure under
Having such huge open sides, there's not generally much pressure that builds up with these shelters.
~ Lauren
We have bought three from Bunnings and all three have been ripped with the wind the canopy is like tizzy paper it’s an ozrtaildelux three mtrs
That's unusual, possibly a batch error - worth chasing up with Bunnings

What are the wheels like on the sand?🚲🚲🚲
It'd go ok on compact or hand sand, but virtually useless in the soft stuff - much like any wheel!

Hi Lauren, what’s the difference in this gazebo and the white commercial one, thanks

@@SnowysOutdoors thanks Lauren
We really struggled getting the gazebo back in the pocket - any tips for how to fold it??

Where are the yellow anti-pooling arms?
This is the older version of this gazebo which doesn't have the arms. ~ Ben
Hard to get the first leg locked in. Something the designers need to look at
Its not an issue unless you're setting up solo - matter of physics really, not sure how it could be amened.
Perhaps a design challenge
~ Lauren
Too much waffling
Thanks for your useful feedback. ~ Ben
