    Very useful guide! Better than the official one. Helped me and my 6 year old daughter a lot.

    thanks for this, 2 years later still relevant. being a british one in your garden, its great for scale and size, unlike some random aussies ones i have seen in a field with no real scale comparison. additionally, great calf definition to the chap in the white shirt 😂

      not so much though ..... you can even set it up alone if you dont connect the last parts of the 4 outside poles ..... just leave it on the ground and install the tent first on the "lowered construction" ...after that lift all up and insert the last pieces of the poles into the cornerbase is much easier and not dangeling around ;-) i needed the hint from obelink setup video ....

    Do use the guide to measure/peg the legs out. If you don't the sun/rain wall won't fit properly ;) This is an awesome shelter that stands up to strong winds and rain easily ;)

      Thanks David, good advice, I have had the shelter for a while now and can judge it, but useful when adding walls. 👍

      i thought the strap in the set sucks as it is a little stretchable ..... i used a regular big measure tape .... the sidewalls are supernice right and easy to install ...just ordered two more sidewalls with zipperdoor and have to watch the fingers as the strong plastic hook popp on/off 🤭

    Any information about maximum wind resistance?

    • @captainhelpuk
      @captainhelpuk  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Unfortunately not! It is sturdy in the wind, it has 2 pegs on each leg base and also 2 guide lines on each leg as well! I would say it’s excellent in high winds! Putting the side panels on (cost extra) also assist the resistance, as long as they attached to the side the wind is blowing!!

    Used the event shelter for 3 weeks at Sandbanks Canada. Stood up to winds and rain, provided shade and wind break. We loved it. But we had great difficulty for the take down! How do you pull the poles from the black anchors? We actually had to hammer sections apart! Any suggestions?

      Hi there Danielle, when you say anchor, do you mean the base in each corner. Each pole has a small clip that slots into the black bases in each corner of the shelter. When trying to remove the poles from the base, push in the small clips with your finger and then this will release the pole from the base. Hope that helps

      @@captainhelpuk Yes, that is the ideal method... but we could NOT push in the clips. We tried with a wrench and other tools. None of the clips would release from their slot. We finally carefully hammered the poles apart from the bases. I thought they might evict us from the site!

    Can you tell me height from ground to where fabric starts at full height extension. Looking at using one of these for shard over large round above ground pool.

    Can these shelters be left up all year round

    • @captainhelpuk
      @captainhelpuk  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You could do , but I wouldn’t advise it! Their only supposed to be a temporary shelter. I think if left up for a long time they would eventually wear out/rot and disintegrate. Let me know how you get on if you decide to do it though!
