Haven Holidays - Greenacres Porthmadog North Wales Park Tour

- We haven’t been here in years but managed to chose the wettest day ever so never quite managed to show the park as we had planned including the beach access.
This park literally sits by the beach and Porthmadog itself is an absolute beautiful area to visit.
This is one of the smaller haven sites to what we are used to but or also seemed to be a lot calmer (this may be weather induced)
We see suprised to see solar panels on the main complex roof and have often questioned why caravans don’t come with them built in to be more self sufficient or I feed the national grid to make them less controversial to some.
Anyway we hope to return to visit the park in better weather and the surrounding areas.
My first ever holiday was Haven Greenacres . I don’t remember too much as I was quite young but I do remember spending a lot of time in the arcade, on the beach and the pool . It’s definitely changed for the best since I’ve been . Looks lovely and modern 🙂x

I haven’t been on holiday here, since June 2019. It’s amazing to see the difference inside.
It looks like they have spent a lot of money revamping the whole main complex. Well over due and brings it up to standards.
I see the on site shop and restaurant prices haven’t changed 😂
We were very impressed with the bar area it looks great 👍 and love the fact they segregate the dog area in the dining. We love dogs but when you have your nice clothes and don't own a dog and it's off the carpet area also. If you haven't already please consider subscribing 😊
Been going to Greenacres Morpha Bycham since 1984, last went 2021 probably been over 30 times Hiraeth

We actually stayed at Portmerion not long ago, our son treat us for our birthday. We did a video there too. Loved it 😊
Cracking video kid. I'm thinking of buying a caravan at greenacres. Having access to the beach is a major plus. Also the beautiful scenery. ❤
Thank you very much. We honestly think anyone would be lucky to own one here. The area and beach is beautiful (also the fact you couldn't get much closer to the beach without being sited in the sand) just a shame we didn't have the sun to really show it off. Should you buy one I'm sure you will be very happy though we would always say try before you buy so maybe book a cheeky few days stay there 1st. You can look around the stock they have at the same time. ( you never know sales may let you have a night's stay on them, always worth asking ) 😉 of you haven't already and its not too cheeky please consider a like and subscribe to the channel as it really helps the channel grow 😀
Entertainment complex looked fairly new. How big was the touring site?
We should of took a wander in there. Will definitely try to do that on other parks we visit. It has just over 40 hard standing pitches on there that had a bit of a renovation in 2015.
The main complex renovation was alot more recent. We do like the bar area, that looked lovely

@outandaboutwithus no probs. We had a caravan on the site for 20 years and got to know many on site.
I bet you did, would you return for nostalgia purposes? How long ago was it you left? 😊
@@outandaboutwithus we had a van from 73 to 93 and then 10 years later we bought another one. Many changes in those missing 10 years. Many great times there, no matter what the weather. It was just the fact we were going abroad for holidays more which made us sell the van.
@kennethdrewary1094 wow k bet there were changes. I went to hafan y mor as a child when it was Butlins, then when Mike was little we took him there every year until he was 16 when we took him abroad. We still visit every year for the day.
Last year Mike rented a caravan with his girlfriend there and invited us to stay with them.
We also used to camp across the road from Greenacres. We love the whole area 😊
