You should be able to least see the area, maybe even your caravan. There is conwy which is earlier in the park and conwy court which is after the entertainment. None are too far and this park is very flat, no hills to climb . Hope you have a great time 😊

It is a shame but Rhyl still has a lot of potential but needs investment and for the towns residents and visitors to take pride, stop littering and take responsibility of their properties

Hi, thankyou for our comment. At the time of our stay there was a mini disco, kids pool areas, kids clubs with activities and the food catered for all age groups. Based on our stay we would recommend this hotel, we found the hotel to be in a great location too

As the operator was in Spanish it made everything that more awkward

This has happened a lot in other areas, too, we have notices. Still lots of shops open now and some great independents, it's just a shame so many have closed down

@@outandaboutwithus Yes, it's happened in so many towns now, all making the same mistake by the looks of things. Rhyl have lost the finest of shops and they built a totally separate shopping centre away from the town centre and another in Prestatyn. Generally, we are left with out of town supermarkets, so many of our quality choices have gone. The same supermarkets in all the big towns, with all the same layouts selling all the same things. Sadly, tomorrows generation will not know any different. People have changed too, many have more money in their pockets and have the choice of cheap package hols abroad to be taken advantage of. You might find this TH-cam video interesting, if you have not seen it before: "Rhyl 1960s. A Tale Of Two Seasons".

@@outandaboutwithus You're welcome.👍🏻 Yes I agree, and all those car boot's too. You never knew what little bargain you might find, and they got us out the house socialising with each other, too.

@levelcrossing150 exactly. Car booties and markets are great. You always come across something a bit different, the traders actually want you at their stall so they interact and in general the market goers are friendly (unless they are in competition for the items you want 😅)

Yep Denbigh Moors. The snow turns pinkish in the sunset. We had a full vlog only to find it had the settings wrong and the footage looked horrendous 😕

Unfortunately the people who answered us only spoke spanish which delayed the rescue and response time

They intend on changing the mash and barrel into a wetherspoons, there is a dog park with an assault cause planned, a zip wire due to arrive along with a climbing wall and a new children's play area. We will regularly return to the park and keep an eye out for any developments and make a vlog or short to show it. Please like and subscribe as it really helps the channel grow 🙏

They will miss it as what's the point of dressing up with nowhere to go etc and when you have a good mooch around you get to see inspiration in real time rather than scrolling for it

@outandaboutwithus ye I live half way up Rhisllanerchrugog mountain so it's rather picture postcard at the mo, it's ruddy cold though even the dogs needed encouragement to go out this morning lol.

That's such a shame about the beach. We are in denbighshire and it's the same with the council, they plough obscene amounts of money into projects generally with what looks like little thought to what the residents/ holiday makers actually want and then moan when it fails. Just look at the sun centre, would of been better to repair than replace 🙄

@@outandaboutwithus Actually it was at a time share, but I remember seeing the wall behind the doors which looked just the same, I guess the lift wasn't fitted properly. Funnily enough my father in law is a retired lift engineer.

@dwaindibbley1965 really! Did it take you long to get out? This was in a hotel but the lifts definitely weren't new 🤣

@@outandaboutwithus I managed to open the doors of the floor above I think and crawl out, the lift didn't work properly after I got out though. I think I was stuck for about 15 minutes

@dwaindibbley1965 crawl out 😬 i think we were around 45 mins and and engineer finally got it going. We were really freaked out. Don't think I've used one since 🤔

How far is it to the main facilities from the caravan? X

From the caravan to the swimming pool, shop, mini golf, entertainment complex, papa John's etc is around 6- 8 min walk. Close enough to walk and far enough to enjoy the peace and quiet. Then the high ropes, lake and other eateries around 10-12 min walk over the bridge 😊

It's in St Asaph on the hill "high street" what looks like a white wash medieval cottage from the outside. Was so surprised when we went in 😊

I honestly don't think I can remember it like that before. Loads of cars were damaged and you needed eyes in your backside as people were walking in and out between the cars 🚗 hope you had a great Christmas 🎄
