So, having heard you've given a copyright strike to GamingRailfaner, I'm not impressed at all. You should've given him a bloody warning before outright doing so! The copyright system is nothing abuse, and where's the fair use at eh? He knows those photos aren’t his, and he provides credit where he can. I've had to issue copyyright strikes before, but I always give the person a week to decide before the video is removed. So why, why did you give it to him, you spoiled sensitive twat?
@@sjvrailfan Well maybe YOU and other small TH-camrs should stop being sensitive little twats to big creators you know to credit the original creators. I understand he didn’t ask for permission but this is why FUCKING FAIR USE EXIST!!! Seriously, you should be ashamed of yourself.
They look really good! Not as good as the VIA Ventures but I love cab cars. Would love to see an entire matching consist in the future but I heard CalTrans doesn’t plan on removing the stupid spoiler on their chargers.
@@Ven100In some videos only one Brightline locomotive will be actually powering the train and the other used as a cab car, so it’s not quite clear what the operational flexibility is of their fleet.
ALCs are unaffected, just the CA owned units due to multiple instances of them failing in the heat earlier this summer. F59s don't seem to be faring much better in the heat though, we've already had two of them die out on the road this week alone.
@@darryldworak6356 The two dash 8s will likely never see mainline service again, both lack the PTC to lead. 2052 has been sitting with a dead main generator since early 2018 and since then the horn has been stolen and not replaced, showing that there's no plans to repair it. More than likely 2051 will be replaced by the incoming GP38 rebuilds in the near future as well.
@@sjvrailfan Interesting. The Charger has the main cooling tower for the engine and an “aux cooler.” The latter pulls double duty cooling the HEP transformer and the inverter unit. I’d be curious as to which one is the culprit.
The F59 pushing the Ventures is reminiscent of F40s pulling bi-levels in the late 90s, as seen in John Reichel's video: th-cam.com/video/gTmZ6MXq86E/w-d-xo.html. Great video and great historical documentation work.

@WastemanAlex That’s because he did. Yes, I may be overreacting, but sometimes, one can get like that at first.
I noticed that the nose of the car looks exactly like the nose of the sc-44 chager including the the three strobe lights on the roof.
For all the people that are complaining about how ugly they look. Just be grateful that Siemens kept a good horn with them unlike the CEMs with KC5As
Yea
Exactly
why do you care about the horn of all things...?

Wow... so many nice trains. Great video for Train Lover 🍒🍒🍒🍒
Why does BNSF have a “soft ban” on SC-44s?
Probably afraid of the chargers dying in the heat
@@GamingRailfanner Interesting, the SCB-40s seem to work fine in Florida.

This is the first I’ve heard of pushback on the Chargers from BNSF. What’s the beef? What about the Chargers on the long-distance trains?
