    Great vid. I’ve done it on my Raptor ATV and recently a rental kawi sxs while my wife and I were out there for our honeymoon. Seeing bikes go up it is cool. This perspective helps appreciate how formidable of a climb it is. My friend did it on his XR but I wasn’t there to see.

      @@CamelADV Hi Cory, needed a spotter to get over the ledge. I tried to take the ledge on the right but my wheel base is just a tad too long and didn’t want to get stuck in the V notch on the left, where you guys ran up, without a good winch spot to tie off on. After watching a recent video posted by the “Trails Offroad” guys, they had their JLU up and and back, we really would’ve needed some spotters at Cliff Hanger. Holy smokes that looks sketch!
      I’ll let you know how my T7, with the ported race head, dyno’s in a couple weeks. I’m waiting on a hi-flow velocity stack air cleaner from the race team in Brazil that goes with the head. Will be interesting to see what gains are made.

    • @CamelADV

    • @bjwilliams6115
      @bjwilliams6115 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@CamelADV I’m used to running 15 pounds of pressure coming from a tubed with rim lock setup on my 300. With these bigger bikes with higher torques, what’s the minimum pressure you run without a rim lock. Sorry no rim locks is a totally new concept to me so I appreciate the patience

    • @CamelADV
      @CamelADV  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@bjwilliams6115 For our local technical single track (max - 3rd gear stuff) I run 8psi front and 6psi front on my 350XCF-W. In the same terrain on the T7 I run about 24psi front and 18 rear. For fast, rocky desert 2 track riding with on the T7, I'll run 30-35psi front and 27-30 rear. No rim locks required due to the safety beads in the rims. That been said, at lower pressure, the tires can rotate on the rims. My valve stems are often sitting at goofy angles after a hard ride at lower pressures.

      I couldn't disagree more. The 890 has strong mid-range and top-end but they flame out far easier than the T7's do. However, the 890 may have done better with the traction control engaged as it may not have spun out on the sand kicked me to the left. It's moot point as it's 90% rider anyway.
