A great field to detect. Hammered coins and ancient artifacts. George III half penny. Nice finds this day. Good to see you again, Ed. Enjoy the weekend, and see you on the next. Cheers mate! 🇬🇧🙂👍🇺🇸
Hi Ed, good to see you finding so many great finds, and to know that you are welcome on the fields, it must make such a difference. Enjoyed this adventure very much 😊😊😊 See you next time❤️
Thanks, I like finding things that take a little research and learn something new, I have a good feeling that the new place will be quite a good spot 🙂👍
...to be the 1st set of eyes and hands on many of these lost items of 5/6/7/800 years ago; and back to roman occupations....would be such a rush; absolutely incredible
It absolutely is so amazing, I look at my collection quite often holding each piece and examining it closely, I get such enjoyment for thinking about what times were like for these items and who used them 😁
@@VintageParagonUk i do the same Ed but my stuff.....even though it is from the 1700s//1800s is soooo much newer. it just doesn't have the same panache'
Mate your collection at home must be incredible, everywhere you go you pick up hammered and Roman. The buckles alone were brilliant. Proper mint day in the office that was. I've not picked up a machine for 2 weeks, but I am out tomorrow (Sunday) woop
Thanks Gareth, I gotta say my hammered collection has probably doubled over the last 6 months 😂 there just seems to be great stuff all over the place! Still waiting for that hoard though 😂👍
Darn those crops, eh? 🤣🤣 I'm glad you had a good couple of days anyway. That silver sixpence really came up gorgeous. 😯 I noticed that the oval object didn't clean up too well. Do you still think it's part of a locket? Now that it's April, maybe soon you won't have to bundle up so much to keep warm. 🥶😬 See you next time. 😁😘🤗💖👍
😂😂😂 thanks Noralee, I am not sure if it was a locket, it doesn't make sense to have the hinge so low but might be something similar 🤷🏻 we have had some warmer weather but then second winter came.....or is it the 4th or 5th 😂 see you next time 😁
I do show everything to the land owners and they are really interested to know what it all is, he kept the button and farm token and that is all he wanted 🤷🏻 usually they are just interested in knowing what is there but otherwise don't want to keep much which is fine with me 🙂
I always enjoy your videos. Your happiness and excitement are always so genuine. Congrats on the new, if delayed, permission and the nice finds.
I do love it, it is so exciting to find these things 😁👍
👍
😊
What a great day! Cheers Ed!

Thanks for the interesting finds. We love seeing the old coins! Well done! S
Thanks Suzy, always a pleasure 🙂

Great finds & well done, we've all got to do favour's for our farmers, to keep us in there good books!

Amazing finds. Thank you.
Thanks 😊
Really cool finds. There's still about 1/2 meter of snow here, so maybe in a month I'll get to the fields. I'm waiting for that moment.
Oh wow that is a lot of snow! We just get more rain 😂
Cracking finds there Ed, thanks for another great video!
Thanks, it was a cracking weekend for me 😊
Cracking video Ed, what lovely finds you had my mate, that section of the field certainly has a lot to give, thanks again buddy 😮

MUCH better than an old water pipe! 😅 Great spot - but how do those hammereds even survive?!?👍
I have no idea! They are so delicate they must just roll around in the mud 😂
@@VintageParagonUk 😅
Brilliant coins mate very jealous haha
Cheers mate, they had a bit of spare cash around here 😂👍
@@VintageParagonUk haha they must have mate, load of peasants around me
Wow great finds, well done! Is that Wiltshire soil?👍
Thanks mate, no this is in Essex, it is chalk and flint underneath 👍
@@VintageParagonUk sweet, very similar to Wilts with the chalk and flint. Loving the content bud keep it up!👍
@@HammyHarris thanks mate, the next couple will be good ones 😉
Do you turn over all the finds to the land owner or split them with the owner?

Just look at the size of that field :)
There is a lot of space 😂 the field I have been searching is about 70 acres on its own 😁👍
@@VintageParagonUk shame about all the hedges that have gone.
@@peterbunyan3924 yes it makes it very barren out there
