@@UltimateToolReviews yeah I was looking at this deal, but I felt uninspired to get it. As a Lowe’s employee, they put gift center items on clearance every year. 95% of the gift center items don’t have a home and get out on clearance about Christmas to get them gone, if you have them after Christmas they are just taking up space because they have a January bath event they need the floor space for
Went shopping for a truck earlier this week. I was looking at prices and almost had a heart attack on the lot. To put an exclamation point on your post...I decided I will need to make due with the rat trap I'm currently driving.
I'm sorry, but a clearance sticker on a product to only discount it 50 cents is a joke. Lowe's clearance section is riddled with things like that. If the store wants it gone it needs to be marked %50 off to begin clearance pricing.
Within 2 miles of my house, I have a Lowe's, home Depot, Harbor freight, BJ's, Target, Walmart, Kohl's, and a few others. A little further out is another BJ's, Costco, Tractor Supply, etc. I have been unimpressed so far, with these so-called "sales", this year. That being said, I have three different home depots close by. I find that some of them are marking some prices down, where are as others are not, on certain items.
@gypsydildopunks7083 Menards is fantastic. I always joke that if Menards put a pizza restaurant inside the store, I would have no reason to ever leave.

Like beanie babies for men is how one comment phrased it Absolutely the truth.
Number one, it is Lowe's and not a lot of people are shopping at Lowe's these days compared to a few years ago. Add to that the fact that we have been in a recession for almost 20 months now accompanied by stupid high inflation around 19% overall and you'll see the reason not a lot of people are buying stuff.
Flex had tons of deals this year. They were mostly on the Lowe’s daily deals, Amazon price drops, and Ohio Power Tool bonus deals. They also offered a lifetime warranty until the end of the year.
A few days ago I was browsing Lowes website. They must have made a pricing mistake because as soon as I purchase the items the prices went back to the normal sale price of $49.99 each kit. I bought a 12v Skil 1/4" brushless impact driver(newer better version) and a 12v Skil 1/2" compact driver drill kits with charger and battery for $29.98 each. Had to pu in store as they wouldn't ship them. I missed the 5 pc set with 2 batteries and a charger that had the drill, impact driver , bt speaker, oscillating saw and light for $79.99...it went back instantly to $149.99...I was going to buy it too but they changed price before I could buy it. They honored the price on the drills...I like getting a great deal once in a while!
They wouldn't be doing this at all, if someone else wasn't undercutting them in sales. Too little Too late. Lowes is pathetic, like every other store, not even a checker,, scan, bag, ALL YOURSELF. and charge more than they did when THEY DID EVERYTHING... My Lowes has like 13 checker stations, Not 1 is open,,,,, 1 person ( always a woman) just to stand and say,,, thank you,, after you checked yourself out,, freaking RIDICULOUS...
I wonder if they will mark it down even more on 12/26? That Lowes has a ton of stock left on the shelves at this point. The Home depot near me isn't much better. The take away is the American consumer is flat out fatigued from 4 years of inflated pricing.
I think corporate greed is killing these companies. If i show up to lowes and a set of pliers, that's normally $15 dollars, and it's on "clearance" for $14 i just chuckle and forget I've seen it. Nothing is really on a steep discount, and the stuff that is just isn't worth buying most of the time.
I go to the Lowe's on lake Underhill by Waterford lakes Town Center just about every Sunday I don't know why it's a thing me and the roommate do. And there is not much in the way of sales at all they've even put some of the stickers over the actual cardboard listed price and they're no more than maybe $5 off. The displays have some stickers that are yellow and they try and tell you it's a deal but if you peel back the sticker it is no cheaper then it originally was. I already have in some shape or form what's in all the holiday displays. The Klein tools display is nothing exciting. Not much cheaper than they already are everyday I will never buy Craftsman. It's a pretty piss poor holiday sale this year home Depot too nothing exciting this year that I don't already have.
I spent 45 minutes in the tool dept. in the Lowe’s closest to me. Not one associate working in the tool dept. stood in the aisle to see if any associates would come and offer help. Watched 4 of them walk towards me , making eye contact, then when they get close, they would look down at the floor then look away from as they passed. One associate did it four times. Lowe’s isn’t trying to sell anything.
I think Blowes is on its last chapter. There is allot of noise from there employees complaining about getting there hours cut and the stores running skeleton crews. I personally had an issues with some appliances I purchased that arrived damaged and they refused to replace or refund my money. So I kept them and disputed the charges thanx for the free appliances Blowes.
Craftsman is going from Lowe's. Ace hardware store don't want to deal with with the life time warranty. So sad to see this happen in my life time. Harbor freight does offer life time warranty , no big box stores have a warranty compared to craftsman. I have a big tool box full of these great tools. Guess harbor freight will start getting my business.
What? No they aren't. You do realize that Ace and Lowe's are the biggest Stanley B&D partners right? Not only for products but financially in the stock market. Ace hardware operates independently store to store. So they stock whatever they sell most. That means no craftsman in some areas.
Well … the “Craftsman” of today IS NOT the “Craftsman” of my youth … Its NOT even the same company. The engineering, design and quality are MUCH Poorer. I got the $80 4 and 2ah with the box kit and decided to get the compact 1/4" inpact. Works great for the small spaces that i need to squeeze into where the impact driver and nut driver dont get into. Not a torque monster by any means but works amazing for smaller fasteners in tight spaces

I went in last week and all the deals buy the door where gone maybe enough to maybe make half a row was left, a lot of the regular isle and endcap deals barely had anything. The other ones im closer to now have almost 2-3 in 3-4 mil distance and home depots and other stores to compete with and they still have most the stuff like this video or more.
These aren’t deals that’s the problem. That’s why they’re not selling. For anything worthwhile. I’ve hit Lowe’s every weekend since Black Friday. The deals are the same and if they do drop it’s like 5 bucks. Lowe's needs to put the tools including nailers all in one area for Metabo HPT The new spring loaded crown and 18Guage brad work well We have the other mhpt cordless and the spring loaded are close to performance of their pro grade
I think its funny when people (like this guy) get excited about “Battery” centered “Deals”.
